  1. The cynic in me will point out that he was more than aware of the camera behind him. Still, he's always struck me as nice.
  2. http://usc.247sports.com/Bolt/The-Future-Meets-The-Past-At-USC-34679515 This isn't major news, of course, but it's always good to hear about guys preparing for life after football. As much as I like both of these players, they in all probability have 3-5 years left in the NFL (not a comment on either player, but 5-7 years in the league is about average for borderline starters). That money's not going to last them forever.
  3. Rex definitely has a sheen of confidence and warmth around him.
  4. I agree that Whaley creds to QB change, but credding to trade for QBs is misnomer. Yes he snaps all names in the bucket, but how many actually worked out? For that matter, the QB directly affects the cred, leaving a GM gasping! Absolutely gasping.
  5. Oh, I know. But more of a laughing stock than the Browns?
  6. Absolutely the right move. Bradham would've been a pro bowler this year if there wasn't such a bias toward pass rushing OLBs.
  7. And I just got finished saying that Charlie Weis would be the most depressing hire.
  8. Ew For some reason, this would be the most depressing hire I can think of.
  9. My prediction is that Fred will be a head coach. Same for Kyle Williams.
  10. 21 hours into 2015 and we already have our post of the year. Brilliant.
  11. In a rational world, that wouldn't provide any more fodder for Hughes' agent. Since we live in an irrational world, it does.
  12. If I've learned one thing about the off season, it's that you can't look at next year's schedule and count wins.
  13. Good question. Dareus is the highest priority as the anchor of our defense. As much as I like Hughes, a downgrade in edge rushing would be worth a significant boost in the interior OL play.
  14. Totally. These commitment-lacking guys really need to answer the petulant whining of an anonymous fan on a message board they've never read. Time to "man up"!
  15. Spiller has 159 YAC and 123 receiving yards. A lot of catches behind the LOS for both of them.
  16. I mean, if you really think about it, had the universe never been brought into existence the Bills would have had zero wins this year.
  17. A negligent rhyme, a touch of bad verse to point out the fact that the offense is cursed?
  18. So, if we ignore Baltimore's chances of losing 2 in a row, we're basically looking at a 6-game parlay... Pitt beats KC Bills beat Oakland Denver beats Cincy Bills beat Pats Pitt beats Cincy KC beats SD It's highly unlikely, but not preposterous.
  19. We still have a chance if KC beats Pittsburgh, though it's unlikely. If the NFC North completely tanks (Cincy loses to Denver, and Baltimore loses their last two) then we're in. At this point, it actually behooves us that Pittsburgh/Cincy and KC/SD play each other in week 17. The problem is that Baltimore would have to lose to Case Keenum and Johnny Manziel. I wouldn't be surprised if things are over by the time we kickoff at 4:25 today.
