There's also the fact that you can't read into short-term data for kicking. It's notoriously unreliable, especially because kicks are (pretty much) discrete and independent events. Imagine if a baseball team replaced a solid veteran because of a couple bad strikeouts.

This was a pretty unique circumstance, and I agree that it was a great signing by Whaley (although he probably had TT pegged as a backup, let's be honest). It's likely that Tyrod has been a better QB than Flacco for the last couple years...but what were the Ravens going to do? Replace their SB winning QB with the backup after a winning season...no way. Everybody gets fired if that plan fails. Good on the Bills for recognizing TT's capabilities and capitalizing.

Same. Despite how much of a gamble he is, I value him over re-signing Cordy Glenn right now. OG doesn't fetch as huge of a price as OT, but the line is remarkably improved with Richie in the mix. He's worth a lot to us, and the price tag isn't huge.

I don't doubt that Incognito will get paid by somebody if his spectacular play continues, but he will still be a 33-year old guard with an extensive history of trouble. Nobody will break the bank, and nobody will sign him for more than a couple years.

Tyrod gets the game ball, but a large handful of players had spectacular games. Tyrod, Incognito, Preston Brown, Harvin, Darby, Clay, Dareus, Karlos and Hughes all played like pro bowlers.

If you're in a standard league where QBs get 4 points for passing touchdowns and 6 points for rushing touchdowns, Tyrod could have a couple really big weeks during the season. Overall he's a borderline top-20 fantasy QB for that reason, but I'd stay away from him simply because he might be inconsistent and we don't know if he'll have the job all year. Probably better off having a guy like Tannehill or Flacco as your backup.
