  1. Good decision, horrible execution. Worst of all, Collinsworth just had to work in another "Time to start cookin".
  2. Absolutely go for it. Probably an 80% chance of getting it and worst case you make them drive 95 yards in the rain for the TD.
  3. I think the logic is that if Seattle drives for a TD and misses the 2 point conversion, you can still win with a FG rather than tie. Close call though.
  4. I just want "Let Russ cook" to die. It doesn't even mean anything.
  5. Week 1 of last year, the narrative was all about which team between the Jets and Bills would grow to challenge the Patriots in the coming years and halfway through that game it didn't look like it'd be us. Who could have known how epically that team would end up failing.
  6. I'm hoping for a tie so that we can say the division has a grand total of 3 wins through 5 weeks.
  7. Yep. He'll always scramble some, but designed runs should be kept to an absolute minimum.
  8. Fitz is now 31st all time in NFL passing yardage. Passed Tony Romo today.
  9. Except that Fitz ALWAYS manages to become the starter somehow so you may as well be hitting Josh's knee with a pipe if you sign him.
  10. Any more than 5 positive cases in a week and there should absolutely be chemical castration for the whole team.
  11. I see what you're saying but my experience watching the Bills is different than watching any other game. I like watching the Bills win in shootouts because those are the types you need to win on the way to a SB in the modern NFL. But generally speaking I really enjoy 20-17 type games with good play on both sides of the ball and a few well earned splash plays.
  12. This is why I always shake my head when they put together strength of schedule rankings based on last year's standings.
  13. Add San Fran to the list of should-wins on our schedule. Wow.
  14. Yeah I'll buy into the notion that this is an anomaly caused by the strange circumstances.
  15. Sure, some bad offenses, but statistically there's more scoring than ever and the eye test matches up that defenses are largely noncompetitive.
  16. I don't think trap games exist in the NFL. Do people really believe that players and coaches are thinking about a game a week from the one they're playing while they play the current game?
  17. The NFL has a real defense problem on its hands. There's more scoring than ever and it's passed the tipping point where it's now making the game generally less entertaining than when there was balance.
  18. Lest we forget how bad the Giants are too I really enjoyed them identifying three different players variably as the Mike and then plodding ahead for 1 yard.
  19. Best player in the NFL. I could hardly believe he didn't impact the 1st half of our game against them but he almost won them the game in the 2nd half.
  20. Cowboys are assumed to be better because of recognizable names on offense but these NFC East teams are all equally bad.
  21. This is probably the worst parity I've seen in the NFL. The bottom 10 teams are abominations who can essentially only beat one another.
