I was surprised to see that Epenesa already has 1.5 sacks and 3 other tackles for loss in his limited time. Not one of those immediate impact rookies but he's starting to flash.

Cam looks like he's throwing a 5 pound ball out there and I assume he's going through considerable shoulder pain among other things. He responded to his benching with great maturity and obvious respect for Belichick and I think he'll start against us but he is a very limited player right now.

I guarantee you the people saying McD has no signature wins predicted big losses in the signature wins he has. And whenever the next big win happens those people will find another excuse to narrow their definition of the term so that they can bang the same miserable drum.

Let's not forget that he actually hit one of those misses and the refs called it wrong. Not that that's relevant to how his coaches regard him but since we're talking about percentages with a small sample size he's really at 76% not 71%. Also 18/19 on extra points is a good number ever since they stopped being gimmes. You typically see several missed each week around the league. The actual premise behind this thread is ludicrous though. No excuse? A rookie struggling because he's a rookie is about the most reasonable excuse there is in this sport.
