It's hard to win in the NFL when the other team doesn't just hand you the ball. -
The NFL is a week to week league but most people look at the schedules and assume the current trends will just continue. So the thinking is that the Colts and Titans are unbeatable and the Steelers will never win another game.

My take is that you rest all of your important starters if your seed is locked in or as close to locked in as possible. I'm all for playing the backups in that situation...but I'll still want the backups to beat the Dolphins.

Let's be honest though. They can win in the 1st round and it won't prove your statement that they would have beaten whomever they played.

My main point, though, is that there's no way to know where the Ravens will finish so that should be the last thing on the Bills' minds.

We can end up with the Ravens as the 3rd seed too, or the Ravens could surpass the Colts or Titans and we could avoid them by getting the 2nd seed. We just don't know. Best thing the Bills can do is continue to play good ball. We're better than the Ravens this year.

I think the Raiders have to move on from Derek Carr. He's the type to put you in QB purgatory, always doing just well enough to justify another season.

Kurt Warner is not pulling off that jacket and tie. It can be pulled off but he isn't pulling it off.

Honestly, are the conferences even necessary? The divisions all kinda have their own character and rivalries and drive the schedule-making but why not just 8 divisions in a 32 team NFL?

Right. Some tragedies are so big that they've led to legendary broadcast moments, like Lennon's death. Other times it just sorta spoils your guacamole.

It was probably the 4th or 5th worst game the Bills have played this season and it still took a miracle. They're not good.
