I swear, if we can no longer get untainted journalistic objectivity from a trusted source like *checks notes* arrowheadaddict.com, then I don't know what to say.

Oh and now Lamar is Michael Jordan? Get off your knees, Cris. -

Yeah it's funny, the Colts may be the AFC team that most other AFC teams should fear and they may not even control their own destiny for a playoff spot. -

In the crowded playoff field Cleveland looks to have the worst odds. Chargers really falling off, too. -

Truly. The biggest problem the NFL has right now is that there are not even close to 32 guys who can play QB at a consistently good and entertaining level right now. -

Can't help but feel like the OL gained 3 points for his team with that false start. -

If there was a redraft Cleveland would take Josh and the Jets would take Lamar. Thankfully they both got it wrong. -

Having the chance to watch a bunch of potential AFC playoff teams today, nobody is scary or a particularly bad playoff matchup. Everyone is taking their turns looking good and then sucking the next week. It's a strange season. -
Will Tre's loss galvanize this team?
SageAgainstTheMachine replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think NFL players are mostly trying to go out and do their jobs every day. On a personal level this group is definitely going to have an emotional response to their friend missing the rest of the season and being upset but if anyone is thinking "Man we are cooked without Tre and can't win unless we all band together" I'd be shocked. Half the team probably couldn't tell you we're the 3-seed in the AFC right now. They're involved in the nitty gritty of this week's prep. If anything the DB group is going to be having meetings about what needs to happen now but that's about it. -
Does CB Now Become a Necessity Early in 2022 Draft
SageAgainstTheMachine replied to thronethinker's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was a necessity before, now it’s a mandate. -
I see your logic but I disagree. I do think Taron Johnson is probably the player on the roster most capable of filling Tre's shoes but you're still getting 70% of the perimeter CB while suddenly vacating the Nickel CB slot where Taron excels and replacing him with a 70% as good product, creating two problems rather than the one.

After Josh this is the injury we can afford the least. Not only is it our poorest depth position but Tre is also the best player on the team and coincidentally one of the energy/glue guys at the same time. BUT. But it doesn't mean we're cooked, like a lot of you are saying. If the Eagles can rally to win the SB with Nick Foles (Nick Foles!) at QB how can we be eliminated by having to play a backup CB or two? Hurts our chances. Doesn't end them.
