I love Jerry but I voted no. My friends and I love to debate which baseball players are Hall of Fame and which guys are "Hall of Very Good". It's the same principal here for me, Jerry is "Wall of Very Good". The only standard is that you know it when you see it.
Justin Tucker missing kicks from inside the 50 is like Mariano Rivera blowing a save. You know it must happen sometimes but you can't help but feel like the team of destiny when you're the beneficiary.
By the way, as big as that play was I still had absolute confidence we were winning that game even if they tied it up 10-10 there. This team just has a different makeup. There's no "Here we go again" aspect to them.
I know that, I was more trying to be poetic that it was the same guy who made the two biggest plays of the season and he's not even one of our pro bowl dudes. Love TJ as a player.
Taron Johnson is a decent player and just so happened to make the two biggest plays of the season for this team. Legend.
Tre White running down to block Lamar was incredible and how about Big Justin Zimmer nearly keeping up with both of them!
I may be overrating because of that 2nd half he played against us. In any case the Rams are pretty stuck since they already paid him. He may drag McVay down with him in 3-4 seasons.
He's exactly the type of vaguely top-12 to top-15 ish QB that puts teams in purgatory, never playing well enough to go deep nor poorly enough for the franchise to move on.
That is as lucky as you can possibly get on that play, wow.
This game has taken me from "absolutely not" to "well...". Overall though in a salary cap league, the goal needs to be to find the next Aaron Jones in the draft.
