  1. Tomlin is playing exactly the right strategy of ball control/possession. It's just that the offense can't even play small ball.
  2. The longer that this stays at tie or one possession game, the more possible this becomes.
  3. Wow. Cowboys have never felt like they were in this game but now Dak has one drive to prove he's the man.
  4. Not that they would have won, but Minshew could have kept this game a lot more competitive.
  5. This is exactly the scenario where only sports betting keeps people watching the game.
  6. Wow. Reagor is just a disaster of a football player.
  7. Philly wasn't sold on Wentz so they wasted a high draft pick on another QB they weren't sold on as an insurance policy. The perfect plan to stay mediocre.
  8. Eagles are the NFC Dolphins. They rode a midseason stretch of playing against the worst teams in the league.
  9. Jalen Reagor has zero football sense. I was cringing watching the way he was staying within about a yard of that bouncing punt.
  10. The only close game so far got completely mucked up by Boger and his crew slowing the game down. We're lucky we had an emotional attachment to the Bills game because I can't imagine neutral fans were too entertained by the 2nd quarter. Tampa is going to fall to their injury troubles in a later round.
  11. It sucks seeing talented offensive weapons without a QB or OC who can use them.
  12. I did sort of forget about the Colts. Still, the AFC was an anomaly of parity this season and still didn't end up with 7 worthy teams that made it. I'll say this - once they inevitably dilute it to 50% of teams making the playoffs it's really going to suck.
  13. Both 7 seeds are the only two teams that feel like they really don't belong in the playoffs. Not a great look for that rule change so far.
  14. 7 drives for 7 TDs then one drive of kneel downs. So in a sense the Bills got every single yard that they tried to get. That's a perfect game.
  15. Sure there is. Not much of one but every time you think an NFL game is a 100% slam dunk it's really more like 90%.
  16. Wait so...does he actually think that's what a press conference is?
  17. This is some BS. Players are probably better off having a hobby that they do on their days off and Tua, for as unskilled a QB as I think he is, did materially improve over the course of this season. For some reason golf is always used as a metaphor for negligent laziness but I guarantee you every NFL player has something recreational they do for 3 or 4 hours on off days. Video games seem to be chief among them and that's fine too.
  18. I really think it's more the equivalent of a team signing a journeyman QB because they know the better QBs will be in next year's draft. That said, the Texans organization is just piling up one douchey move after another and it's hard to acquire and keep talent at every level that way.
  19. This is a Houston roster that had a real shot at 1-16 or 0-17 and he went 4-13. If you have an 8-9 roster and go 12-5 you get a multi year extension. I think he comes out of this looking really good and will eventually get another HC opportunity with a club that's not an absolute tire fire.
