OT: Belichick says that Mac's improvement is "dramatic"
SageAgainstTheMachine replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
McCorkle is now permanently part of the field in Las Vegas. -
That stiff arm. Mac Jones is the first white man ever sent to the Sunken Place.

Oh hey look, we clinched the playoffs

Yeah the metric for success used to be playing at least one game in December without being mathematically eliminated. -
Even though a lot can happen it seems to me that the Ravens are pretty safe, and if the Titans blow their division they won't be in the wildcard hunt so it essentially comes down to these four teams. Personally I just want Pats fans to be miserable at every turn. Also picking the Dolphins because they're the scariest playoff matchup and it would be hilarious for the media who picked them to win the SB a couple weeks ago.

Just an honest question on the game outcome
SageAgainstTheMachine replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beating a likely playoff team isn't playoff caliber, cool. -
Yeah that was awful, like you’re off the team awful. He also tried too hard to intercept that Jefferson catch on 4th and 18 instead of knocking it away in my opinion.

We just burned the whole AFC East in three consecutive weeks, likely setting two of those teams up for playoff elimination. Be happy. -
So, reading the board, we lost again. 3-11. Sigh.

Best Bills season ever! 11-3 record and I’ve won thousands by superstitiously betting the opponents’ points. -

Jets have been tough too, albeit in a different way. I don’t think either can beat us in a playoff game in Highmark personally. -

The Lions are now where we were then. Rooting for them hard to make it. -

5 years ago making the playoffs looked like a whole room of grown men crying. Today it looks like Josh chilling in the snow with a broadcast crew and boxes of his own breakfast cereal. How the times have changed. -
We didn't get lucky against the Jets, we sent their QB to the hospital with clean hits and won the game. Also, if you don't count fourth down stops as big plays then, well, I don't know what to tell you!

Congrats to the team on what feels like a foregone conclusion to us but the first of many hard fought goals for them. Also, 5 out of 6 years in the postseason for McBeane and company. An accomplishment in a parity league. Remember when this used to be big news?

Devin Singletary not scoring a TD with 34 seconds left

I think it was 34 seconds but yeah, they just need a couple plays to get to our 40 yard line and then... -

Almost a coin flip decision. I would have erred on the side of scoring the TD but don’t tell me you can’t imagine a tragic 37-36 loss.
