  1. This is the deepest roster in the NFL by far. We’ve got injuries everywhere and it just doesn’t come close to mattering.
  2. They should have gone for an easy 10 yards on 3rd down. Situational football error.
  3. It’s too bad that when the team is doing well we can’t stop ourselves from dragging on valuable players because they don’t fill up the box score.
  4. Pathetic. Give me Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, Von Miller, Matt Milano and 49 JAGs and that team has a chance to beat KC. As it is, with our excellent roster, it's a coin flip.
  5. I fully support Poyer getting an extra rest week to mend with KC next (which I assume he'll play in) and then the actual bye. He's got foot stuff and rib stuff which is basically soreness that lingers throughout the season and you do your best to mitigate. If he's the difference between winning and losing against a rookie QB in our house then a lot more went wrong.
  6. But I read on this very board that Edmunds is a glorified traffic cone in the middle of the field.
  7. Has there ever been a game that got both HCs fired?
  8. Once in college I got drunk and burned Easy Mac in the microwave because I forgot to add the water. That’s roughly the level of cooking Russ is doing.
  9. I saw Rex Ryan at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
  10. The funny thing is I've watched those game highlights so many times that I knew it was 1:45. Other big moment of that game for Josh was picking up the fumbled snap on 4th & 1 and willing himself to the first down. Overall this was probably the most important regular season win of the McD/Beane/Allen tenure. I think it's the last time that games against good teams were assumed to be losses for the Bills.
  11. I'll think about the Dolphins again if we have to get by them in the playoffs. I think it's perfectly indicative of where they are that they felt like they won the SB when they stole a close game at home and then we just went and tied up the division the next week anyway.
  12. We probably win the SB last year with Tre at CB. This is a discussion for 3 years from now if it needs to happen at all.
  13. My favorite Josh Allen throw so far was in the Thanksgiving game against Dallas in 2019. We were 8-3 but everyone in the world seemed to think this was the game that would humble us. Down 7-0 and backed up at our 2 yard line on 3rd and 10 Josh evaded pressure in the end zone and then uncorked a 20-yard line drive to Cole Beasley directly between the outstretched arms of a CB and safety. Literally anyone else throwing the ball and it's 6 points coming back the other way.
  14. I've always thought the same of "Commentator". Why are we not just using Commenter?
  15. Bengals/Ravens is a big game next week. Not only divisional but both were assumed to be playoff teams and one will be at a troubling 2-3 in a crowded AFC.
  16. "Great coaching by me is becoming a ***** theme"
  17. Awful for Crowder. But I think Shakir will be a long term contributor and I'm glad he's going to be on the field a lot.
  18. Not every critique thread gets a huge amount of backlash. It's just that most critique threads are overly neurotic and fatalistic with not much basis in reality, and usually they are unsubstantiated with facts. You won't find much disagreement that we need better push from the interior OL in our short run game, for example. But then we also get multiple threads about rookies being busts when they've played one or two NFL games.
  19. I said a bad coach. I think they go something like 4-12 with a JAG and 0-16 with Hue Jackson.
  20. Again, he went 9-7 with a team that a bad coach genuinely could have gotten a winless season out of. It was that bad. And then he got JA and they're writing history together. The argument that having a great QB somehow reflects negatively on the legacy of the HC is so tired. Don't argue in bad faith. Do you disagree that this franchise has the best roster in football and the best team culture in football?
  21. Of course JA makes coaches look good. We also have the best 53-man roster in the league because of Beane and McDermott and the culture they brought in. And the year that McD broke our 17 year playoff drought it was without Josh Allen and with possibly the worst roster to ever make the playoffs in NFL history. That team was built to go 3-13.
