  1. Maybe, but we'll never know, so what's the point in dwelling on it? Maybe he would have been effective, maybe he would have even gotten a pick, or maybe he would have allowed Ginn to get 250 yards. We will never know.
  2. Give me a break, McNabb has been a top 5 quarterback for almost his entire career and this is actually shaping up to be his worst statistical season. His trademark has always been a low interception rate (only 89 so far in a 10 year span) and a high completion percentage. If there's one knock on him it's his inability to manage a clock at the end of a game, and that's probably why there isn't a SB ring on his finger, but in the grand scheme of things he has been a very very good quarterback. So please, give me some evidence of his "not being that good to begin with". I'm really interested on your take because you seem convinced.
  3. Or Y2K 2.0 that has a nice ring to it
  4. Ok impressive, but let's see if he can take down Forrest Gump.
  5. Because we tend to suffer from similar mediocrity and finish the same place in our respective divisions.
  6. Best mascot ever. I knew he must've been hiding somewhere.
  7. Just 8 now, but the 8 franchises are very stable.
  8. You know that the Bills are going to be 15-0 when the world ends right?
  9. Well the problem is you won't let anybody argue against your point using reason, because you don't use any reason when making your point. Your opinion on the matter is based on you perceiving some mental alteration among the players, which you have zero evidence for.
  10. I wonder if Youppi was in attendance...
  11. How well do you think you know Dick Jauron? Your relationship with him is the same as all of ours. We watch him coach a football game once a week and then he gives a press conference. And you have the audacity to say something like "he doesn't understand human emotion"???? There are people I've known my entire life that I don't know such intimate details about. I love how you think you know what is going through everybody's head, your ego must be huge.
  12. Reed broke the record for longest interception return, how could McLovin beat him?
  13. Oh I thought you were just citing the 5 starting QBs who you believed to be the worst.
  14. But then you get it to start the second half! It gives zero advantage.
  15. You are really grasping at straws here. The opening coin toss and the decision the coach makes has absolutely no effect on the game. You say Jauron sent the message that he doesn't trust his offense. Or maybe he just trusted his defense? And it's my understanding that the majority of coaches choose to defer now that they have the option.
  16. Why did you include Collins and Warner? Collins has been more than anybody imagined he'd be and Warner is a legitimate MVP candidate.
  17. That's certainly true. People tend to associate kickers with being "clutch" or "unclutch", but statistics show that a kicker's FG percentage is about the least relieable statistic from year to year, probably because of sample size. Lindell is no less clutch than any other kicker in this situation, he just fell victim to probability. For the last two games, he is 6/7 kicking field goals, a very respectable rate. Too bad for him the one he missed is the one everybody will remember.
  18. Have you ever even watched McNabb play? Are you aware that he has a 2:1 touchdown to interception ratio for his career? Are you aware that he's only attempted to rush the ball 50 times once in the past 5 seasons. Let me take a guess, you made that comparison because he's black?
  19. Yep, you got it right there. You can look for the problem on the field all you want, but the cancer in Philadelphia is on the sidelines. His playcalling and strategy have always been just atrocious. McNabb's problems this year can be attributed to the team's absolute failure to even attempt running the ball. How can you blame McNabb when he's working in a completely one dimensional offense?
  20. Ellis just looks really small for a DE. His frame reminds me more of a tight end. I completely agree on Kelsay. He always had more luck when Schobel was drawing double teams but now that he actually has to beat right tackles and tight ends all by himself, he is just lost out there. The man's style of play is allowing himself to get pushed 10 yards into the backfield, before trying to recover but never ever reaching the QB. I've seen him get completely taken out of plays by running backs.
  21. He doesn't need one. No excuses necessary for missing 47 yarders when his team should have gotten him a 35 yarder.
  22. I'll eat my hat if he stays in New England backing up Brady. He is going to be laughing all the way to the bank after these last two performances.
  23. Yes, that was a ridiculous assertion. Apparently all it takes is a couple missed tackles against the Chiefs to be labelled soft. I wonder if the poster would be brave enough to call him soft to his face.
  24. Ellison is great in coverage, but a piss-poor tackler. Mitchell is a good blitzer and (usually) a good tackler, but a liability in coverage. Poz should become a good all around middle linebacker and he's a tackling machine, but it feels like he's playing slow right now. I don't know how the OP comes up with "worst linebacker corps in the NFL right now", but it's certainly not a big strength at the moment. I agree with those who say we should bring in Dansby.
