  1. Whenever I watch a non-Bills game I tend to pick one of the teams and read along with the game thread in their subreddit. I’ve learned that every fan base is exactly the same - anxious, neurotic and wanting everyone fired even with a lead.
  2. For as much as I hear about a team being pissed off and dangerous following an embarrassing loss I wonder if there's any statistical evidence that this is a factor. If anything I would guess that demoralizing losses just lead to more losing.
  3. I haven't read any of the replies on this but I'm wondering if when the Bills new stadium is built if maybe that would be a domed stadium too?
  4. Most people thought Wentz was on track to do what Josh is doing now back in 2017. Five years later and he's the guy you get when you want to look like you aren't tanking but you are.
  5. I really dislike this either/or type of thinking. Allen is a generational QB and would be without Daboll, McD, Dorsey or Beane. But he's also extremely fortunate in the sense of competing in the playoffs so soon and often to have landed in a situation with such stability. Most rookie QBs go to bad teams that end up shuffling OCs, HCs and GMs until the franchise that drafted them isn't even the same franchise (Ship of Theseus, what what).
  6. I was thinking today about how normal that last drive seemed but how spectacularly abnormal it really was. First off, you have the pressure that if you don't score a TD the game is more or less over. Give the ball back on downs or a turnover, you either go down an insurmountable two scores or you never see the ball again. Drive and kick a field goal, Mahomes likely marches down and Butker ends it. So the stakes are HIGH. Well in that last drive we saw Josh... 1) Power forward for a QB sneak on 4th and 1 2) Deliver a 20 yard seed to Diggs in traffic 3) Rush for 16 yards, cleanly hurdling a defender for an extra 10. 4) Hit a well covered Knox on the sideline for a TD on a pass that also fit right over the fingertips of a safety. Like, go back and watch highlights of former Bills QBs like Trent and Tyrod (if you can stomach it). They'd go entire games without putting together anything close to that, much less on a do or die drive. And right now for Josh it's just natural. I would have been surprised if we didn't score.
  7. Truly one of the softest schedules I've ever seen. Still, 15-2 tops. They're a really good squad but they aren't perfect record good.
  8. Brady has thrown off the calculus for everyone. Nobody used to question why a 38 year old QB was getting worse.
  9. I have this weird sense of calm that he'll win multiple SBs for us, and that the first one will be within the next couple seasons. He was the best player in last year's playoffs despite only playing two games. The whole world could see that. Somehow he's gone and made yet another leap in his game since then.
  10. There was something about the ref's body language when he was telling Josh to give him the ball that irks me, like he had a bone to pick with him, thus the non-call. Like a nerdy hall-monitor being given power over the jock. I mean, if you think about the scrutiny that RTP is under right now and the fact that it happened like 3 feet from that ref...is it really possible that he missed what 100% of people watching in real time saw?
  11. He's a weak link on the offense and I think you'll see Shakir getting more of those snaps as trust grows. That said, there's no need for mockery. He's had some really cool moments for the Bills. Who knows if he'll make a critical play in a big spot in the playoffs?
  12. The 4:25 national game actually feels more like primetime than SNF for some reason.
  13. There will be a few frustrating moments with Von on the sidelines but he's 33 and if we limit him to 30-35 snaps a game he'll be more effective when it really matters in the playoffs.
  14. I was convinced that we needed the turnover to win. 1:04 with two timeouts and 4 down territory all the way down the field is a perfect script for Mahomes.
  15. Taron Johnson now has 5 career INTs. 3 of them have been game enders in enormously important games.
  16. There are SO many fans on here who think that you're going to stop teams like the Chiefs from moving the ball for the whole game and call for coaches getting fired on every 3rd down conversion. Holding the Chiefs to 20 points on two TD drives is an A+.
  17. Hahahahahahahaha. Stupid is as stupid does. Betting against Josh ***** Allen.
