Well yeah, of course. Romo is a celebrity and there's nothing he can do about that. But he used his celebrity to brighten up somebody's day instead of heading to a strip club with some thug "bodyguards". I can respect that.

Shaq is one of my top 5 favorite people in the world of sports. IMO he has one of the greatest personalities out there, and he spent a few good years playing with utter dominance at his position. It's sad to see the way he's declined.

What makes everybody think Vick would even consider signing with Buffalo? He grew up in Newport News, went to Va Tech and played in Atlanta. Does Buffalo seem like his type of town? Would you really trust him in the snow?

Yeah, according to the article, it was the homeless man "Doc" that related the story to the press, not Romo. When approached about the story, Romo confirmed it but provided no details. This doesn't seem to be a PR move to me. As much as I hate the Cowgirls, I do like Romo. He seems like a nice guy and he probably has more humility than most players, coming from Eastern Illinois and not being a highly touted prospect. Most people hate Romo because he gets an inordinate amount of attention on ESPN and other media outlets, but that is certainly not his fault.

I'm hungry for a slant too but the opposing defenses never give us a cushion like we give them. Plus, our one big weapon for a slant is James Stone Hands Hardy.

Ankiel is a top 5 player in baseball????? He's proven he can hit the long ball but he's barely a top 5 hitter on his own team. Pujols, Ludwick and Glaus are most certainly better than Ankiel (and Skip Shumacker will be better than him by next year if he isn't already) Also, he is a below average fielder who has very little range in centerfield. And what's your rationale for calling the Cards the best pro organization? I'm not saying you're wrong but you don't back that statement up with anything.
