You are really grasping at straws here. The opening coin toss and the decision the coach makes has absolutely no effect on the game. You say Jauron sent the message that he doesn't trust his offense. Or maybe he just trusted his defense? And it's my understanding that the majority of coaches choose to defer now that they have the option.

Why did you include Collins and Warner? Collins has been more than anybody imagined he'd be and Warner is a legitimate MVP candidate.

That's certainly true. People tend to associate kickers with being "clutch" or "unclutch", but statistics show that a kicker's FG percentage is about the least relieable statistic from year to year, probably because of sample size. Lindell is no less clutch than any other kicker in this situation, he just fell victim to probability. For the last two games, he is 6/7 kicking field goals, a very respectable rate. Too bad for him the one he missed is the one everybody will remember.

Have you ever even watched McNabb play? Are you aware that he has a 2:1 touchdown to interception ratio for his career? Are you aware that he's only attempted to rush the ball 50 times once in the past 5 seasons. Let me take a guess, you made that comparison because he's black?

Yep, you got it right there. You can look for the problem on the field all you want, but the cancer in Philadelphia is on the sidelines. His playcalling and strategy have always been just atrocious. McNabb's problems this year can be attributed to the team's absolute failure to even attempt running the ball. How can you blame McNabb when he's working in a completely one dimensional offense?

Ellis just looks really small for a DE. His frame reminds me more of a tight end. I completely agree on Kelsay. He always had more luck when Schobel was drawing double teams but now that he actually has to beat right tackles and tight ends all by himself, he is just lost out there. The man's style of play is allowing himself to get pushed 10 yards into the backfield, before trying to recover but never ever reaching the QB. I've seen him get completely taken out of plays by running backs.

Ellison is great in coverage, but a piss-poor tackler. Mitchell is a good blitzer and (usually) a good tackler, but a liability in coverage. Poz should become a good all around middle linebacker and he's a tackling machine, but it feels like he's playing slow right now. I don't know how the OP comes up with "worst linebacker corps in the NFL right now", but it's certainly not a big strength at the moment. I agree with those who say we should bring in Dansby.
