  1. Yeah, what's your point? I wasn't happy when that happened either...
  2. Well, there are exceptions to every rule. One exception would be when your previous starter was the worst starting QB in the NFL.
  3. Wow, they were ranked number 255 out of 119???? They have improved.
  4. Does it matter? If he comes back he'll just B word about getting screwed over by the refs. (Not that he doesn't have a case).
  5. No, starters shouldn't lose their jobs due to injury. Jauron made that mistake last year, when JP performed well against the horrible Cincy seconday and Edwards temporarily lost his job because of it.
  6. There's a relatively famous actor/director named Jon Favreau, so the article confused me a bit at first.
  7. I don't think that rap is music and I agree that most rappers are uneducated boneheads. But to say "no talent", I think, is wrong. I'm still impressed by what Lil Wayne does even if I don't like the sound of it, and I'm sure he works very hard.
  8. You're a dick. Flutie's the last QB to get us to the playoffs, and he didn't even have the chance to win us the Superbowl, yet you rag on him. It doesn't make any sense.
  9. Do you remember how Eli Manning played scared until he found his stride in the playoffs? Now he's a stud QB. The QB that plays with confidence right out of the gate is rare.
  10. Maybe because different QBs have different mental fabrics? And why are you talking as if the Trent Edwards era is over?
  11. Do you not understand the reference or are you just lame?
  12. Wes Welker is arguably the most consistent yardage producer among fantasy WRs. As TDs are generally random with wideouts, always go with the go that's going to get you 7 receptions and 80-90 yards.
  13. Don't bother, it's a ridiculously long article in which Bill Simmons absolves Manny of all blame and dumps it on Scott Boras, who Simmons claims manipulated Manny into acting the way he did. Yeah, Boras is a douche but this one's all on Manny. He makes his own decisions.
  14. I can't respect Manny because of the way he jogs on the field, both in left field and running out ground balls. When he isn't fighting for a contract, I feel like he doesn't give a crap. I'm a baseball purist and I get so pissed when I see him standing at home plate admiring a home run that turns out to be a double, but that he turns into a long single because he didn't run out of the box. I found it so ironic that he and Pedroia shared the same uniform. Put Dustin's heart in Manny's body and you've got yourself the greatest player of all time.
  15. It's not like he picked the DR out of a hat, it's his family's heritage and he spent a good deal of his childhood there. And don't try to tell me that the DR team is more "loaded" than the American team...they just have more national pride and work better together as a unit than America. If you put the 9 best American players on the field, they should be able to wipe the floor with ANY team. Pitcher - CC Sabathia Catcher - Joe Mauer First Base - Lance Berkman Second Base - Dustin Pedroia Shortstop - Jimmy Rollins Third Base - David Wright Left Field - Ryan Braun Center Field - Josh Hamilton Right Field - Matt Holliday (plays in left, but corner outfielders can switch easily) That team could beat literally any other. The problem is many don't feel like risking injury, whereas players from other nations actually feel repping their culture is important. If the guys listed above don't want to play, that ain't Arod's problem.
  16. I'm still waiting to hear how this is a douchebag move.
  17. Exactly. And he still hasn't explained his beef with Arod playing for the Dominican.
  18. Oh no! He's honoring his family and heritage! What has the world come to? I'm a diehard Yankees fan myself, and I hate all the A-rod haters? First, no matter how "clutch" he is, he gives you 35 home runs and 100 RBIs in his BAD years. Who wouldn't want this guy in their lineup. And I know you're going to point to how he doesn't come up in big situations, so I'll remind you that he hit .462 in the 9th inning in 2007 to go along with 6 walk-off hits. And how can you call him a douche? He seems like one of the nicer guys in the sport.
  19. I just find it pathetic that Ryan Denney leads an NFL team in sacks. But we're not as pathetic as the Chiefs, who I think still only have 6 or 7 sacks on the season still.
  20. For anybody in the area, I'd suggest going to the game if only to watch Hasheem Thabeet. Could he be the one to drag the OKC Thunder out of the toilet?
