  1. I assume by "lose out and draft a franchise QB", you mean that you want them to purposely lose games. If I ever found out that happened, that would officially be when I stopped rooting for the Bills.
  2. Pennington does not suck. No, his arm isn't great. But he just absolutely never makes bad decisions and his completion percentage is the best in NFL history among QBs who have thrown more than 1500 passes. There is nobody better at hitting his target than Pennington. Please explain your opinion on how he sucks. He certainly isn't the best quarterback in the league due to his physical limitations, but there is almost nobody more competent.
  3. SDS, I'll actually take the blame for the loss. After our 4-0 start, I announced that we would go 19-0 this season on the radio show that I host. This one's on me.
  4. Well, Steve-o had 14 yards and Hardy had 0, so he actually was infinity times better today.
  5. To be fair, the Steelers gave their fans something to cheer about.
  6. And since when is it a good idea to draft a player for the sake of a trick play?
  7. Except for Kelsay, those are all backups! How much do you expect from them? Do you think other teams' backups are any better?
  8. Repeat with me. It's one game out of eight. The team has received a great deal of money for it. It's good to get exposure outside of WNY. Repeat ad nauseum.
  9. Thank you! People seem to be under the impression that a QB is capable of singlehandedly winning a superbowl. In other words, just keep cycling through QBs until you find one that wins 13 games. Doesn't work that way people.
  10. Under the right circumstances, I can see Tebow being a Roethlisberger clone. Pretty accurate, not the best arm but good enough to send it downfield. Big frame, doesn't have the best speed but can still scramble very well when he needs to (In the NFL, Tebow is not going to survive if he is asked to run the ball the way he does at Florida). All in all, I think the media has greatly overrated Tebow, but he is a good quarterback with a winning attitude and a great personality. I don't suggest the Bills take him, but I don't see him as an utter bust.
  11. In general, the metonymous form of "The Bills front office" is One Bills Drive. But yeah, I guess most people didn't pay enough attention in high school english class.
  12. We should be 8-3? What happened to the other game??????
  13. The teams I could see him starting for right now are the Vikings, Niners, Lions, Raiders, and maybe Bears and Chiefs. The Raiders seemld committed to Russell for the time being, and the other 5 teams will pick up a QB from this year's very deep draft class. So no, barring injury, he shouldn't be starting next season.
  14. Agreed for the most part. I wouldn't really mind us keeping Denney either, but preferably as a backup. He's bigger than Kelsay and doesn't get pushed 15 yards into the backfield every play.
  15. I remember an interview with the commissioner of the XFL before the first (and only) season started. He said something to the effect of "it's going to be like the NFL, but much more intense". As if intensity was something that the NFL was lacking. An interesting concept, but ultimately just a bad idea.
  16. As a rookie, there's no shame in getting outsmarted by a crafty veteran here and there. Isaac Bruce faked a slant, and Leodis bought it hook, line, and sinker. He'll think twice next time. It's called experience. He did a fine job the rest of the game.
  17. Dude, it's happening, get over it. Not to question your fanhood, but you refuse to watch your team against an arch rival just because they're playing on a neutral field?? Just like most things, this Toronto deal has its positives and its negatives, but IMO there is no use in getting upset about it.
  18. And the award for worst spelling of Roethlisberger goes to.....drumroll please...Ed Roch! Seriously though, you make a good point. We tend to freak out because our QB situation is less than desirable, but that's more or less a common theme in the NFL today. We are not alone.
  19. Not that we'd want a murderer on our team anyway.
  20. Starting the third QB (even if it's logical because JP will be gone by next season) is symbolic of throwing in the towel. If we become mathetmatically eliminated and TE is still injured, I wouldn't mind seeing us throw Hamdan in there for a start or two. But while we're still in the playoff hunt, they should follow the depth chart.
  21. And then they're going to New York! And Denver! And Buffalo! And then they're gonna head on over to Pittsburgh! And Nashville! And Indiannapolis! And then they're going to Tampa to take back the Superbowl!!!!! BYAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! - Howard
  22. Ok, that's a load off my mind. Ithaca is in the Syracuse market. OP, why did you think they were showing Jets-SF?
