  1. I'm surprised only one person said experience. I went with coaching, but experience was a close second. We're a very very young team.
  2. For anybody who's interested, I'll be giving a short rant (about 2 minutes) on this topic, on the airwaves a few minutes after 6 o clock this evening. www.wvbr.com Live stream is easily accessible on the upper left hand corner of the site. Sorry for the shameless self promotion.
  3. Well, at least now there's Steak and a BJ day to reciprocate for Valentine's.
  4. Football's a team game and even practice squad guys play a signficant role, why shouldn't they get a ring?
  5. Hey man, I'm just bein' honest. They say men think about sex every 53 seconds.
  6. I'm guessing the kid probably dropped the gun, and it sounds like he was standing amongst a group of people. I'm sure the other officers wanted to avoid any sort of shootout to preserve innocent lives.
  7. What could have possibly been going through the kid's head when he pulled the trigger?
  8. Volcano is the greatest invention of all time, including the lightbulb. My friend has one, and I'm constantly inventing excuses to head on over to her place.
  9. Yeah, but it's just a random domain, not an actual fan site. I think that The Onion might legally have to buy a fake site that they mention in an article. There was a Simpons episode where Bart and Lisa log on to whatdobadgerseat.com, and the Fox network legally had to buy whatdobadgerseat.com.
  10. Ok I was being over the top. She's a nice girl and we have good times outside the bedroom, but that doesn't mean my mind isn't in the gutter. Whaddayagonnado?
  11. I never go a day without reading The Onion. It's more fun than any of the real news out there.
  12. I've literally come across zero people that have a problem with Phelps toking up, and yet because of the stupid PR machine, he has to apologize. I know he has to be a role model to kids and yada yada yada, but c'mon give the guy a break.
  13. I'd like to see a carbon copy of the college overtime. I would just change it so that you start at your own 40 on each drive instead of the opposition's 25. The kickers are too good to just start at the 25 every time.
  14. From the 3 games that I watched of Cromartie's, I haven't seen very good football instincts. On top of that, he probably would have been a 7th rounder if his name wasn't Cromartie.
  15. At least with the Sens, the pain has only been around for 16 years.
  16. I agree, but unfortunately Hardy is rehabbing from his torn ACL and might not even be back for the start of the season. Don't expect any improvements. My only hope is that he doesn't come back too out of shape.
  17. I think I would go with 1. AJ 2. Fitz 3. Smith 4. Boldin 5. Marshall #5 was a toss up between Marshall and Calvin Johnson, but I gave the nod to Marshall because right now he's in a system that better showcases his talent. I picked AJ for #1 instead of Fitz because AJ led the league in receptions and yardage this season and appears to only be getting better as time goes on. Also, Fitz has Boldin to rely on across the field. AJ has Kevin Walter (a good player but a journeyman receiver) across the field, and Walter finished the season with 900 yards and 8 TDs. To me, that speaks volumes about AJ. As for Smith, he might be on the decline a little, but his 18.2 YPC is just ridiculous and he does it with that turd Delhomme tossing the ball.
  18. Don't get me wrong, I agree with you, Boldin is awesome. I was just making the case that Fitz is a step above him right now. As for the fumbles, he has fumbled 13 times in 6 seasons. Not a ridiculous number, but still a little high for a wideout, no?
  19. Michaels and Madden are bumbling idiots. If I had to listen to them refer to Roethlisberger as just "Ben" one more time, I was going to punch the TV.
  20. Nah, I know a few die hard Cubbies fans, and losing is the furthest thing from a novelty for them.
  21. I don't really know about the whole Flutie-Roethlisberger comparison, but what I do know is that anybody who feels like criticizing Roethlisberger will have to wait until he finishes polishing his TWO superbowl rings.
