  1. A trap game in a single elimination tournament?
  2. This offense will begin to thrive when we get CJ Spiller out in space.
  3. I wonder how charitable all the McDaniel fans on this board would be to a rookie Bills HC who lost 5 straight games down the stretch.
  4. Heh, true. But I find it especially funny in sports where the statistics are so conveniently gathered and disbursed for us.
  5. The QB market sets itself due to scarcity. There are realistically about 20 QBs in the NFL that can get a team to the playoffs without a stellar defense and if you don't have one of them then you're on a path to getting yourself and your entire staff fired.
  6. "Well every objective statistic indicates one thing but I, a biased individual, will rely upon my anecdotal experience." It's a solipsism. Every other fan base in the league sees the Bills as a dangerous team. How come the Chiefs can beat the Texans by 3 points in OT but that's not a damningly flawed victory that dooms them to lose in the playoffs?
  7. This sorta turned out to be true. He had a great game by his standards and yet when he HAD to push the ball down the field he made enough mistakes to be the difference in the game.
  8. Not many instances of Brady coughing up 3 INTs in crunch time.
  9. Last year's SB was between two teams that nobody would have included in their field of potential winners at the end of the regular season.
  10. I still don't see how all of these neutral site machinations are a better solution than pushing everything a week back and doing away with the pre-SB off week.
  11. I wanted the Dolphins and Steelers to lose so that we could beat them while they got into the playoffs through the backdoor, knowing they'd lose to us again.
  12. Baker and Darnold both going down in flames today in their last ditch chances as NFL starters. Wonder what Right Josh is up to...
  13. Poor Lions fans' misery is being drawn out here. Baker doesn't have it.
  14. Imagine if the Giants come back in this one and then the Cowboys complete the job of blowing it against WAS.
  15. I think one critical thing Frazier needs to do is find the right moments to blitz Edmunds, Milano, Poyer, and Johnson. We’re down to one true pass rusher in Rousseau and you just need to find opportunities to put your best defenders in the backfield, despite the risk factor.
  16. Dak Prescott is playing like trash. Why must all the good QB play be in the AFC? I just want to watch a higher stakes game tonight. Go Rams!
  17. The Diggs TD was one of the best throws I’ve ever seen. 55 air yards to the left sideline from the right hash, dropped into a bucket. He could have literally landed that one in a trash can like a trick throw artist.
  18. Edmunds had a really good game and completed a season-long character arc of catching a tipped pass.
  19. Yeah I'm fine with them using the higher draft capital on OL, taking shots at WR in Day 2/3 and signing a reliable possession guy on the cheap.
  20. The "Favre with legs" comparison keeps on proving itself. Josh will continue to get lots of TDs, turnovers and wins. Realistically I think he's the most valuable player in the NFL but he'll lose the award more often than not to someone who doesn't give fans the same heart palpitations...and yet the wins are there! I think that just means he recovered 5 of them himself, not that 8 were lost.
  21. Better numbers? I don't know. Some rookie WRs really flash in their first season. Or maybe we can get a reliable FA for much cheaper that can replicate those numbers. 836 yards on 93 targets, many of them trying to push the ball down the field, is not good. In all cases, I'd rather pay any combination of Edmunds, Poyer and Oliver.
  22. It's more to do with efficiency. Gabe's numbers are really bad for the number of balls thrown his way by an elite QB.
