Abortion is murder. Millions of lives have been nipped at the bud because the parents didn't feel like being hassled by a kid, and our society gives the OK because "it's a woman's right to decide what happens to her body". Here's the thing...it's not the woman's body. It's the baby's body, and it happens to be growing inside the woman. I don't know how any sensible person can make the decision to abort their baby, and not hate themselves for it. My aunt was pregnant two times and gave birth to a still born both times. Now, she can no longer have a baby. Try telling her that a woman should get to decide to abort because it's inconvenient to be pregnant. As for stem cells, I don't really have an ethical problem with it but I still think that there is a threshhold of science that we should not cross.

Riley Nash ties it up with 25 seconds left, then Greening wrists it past Kalema 10 minutes into the second overtime. Red are taking on Yale today, if they win it probably secures a 2 seed in the NCAA tourney. Let's go RED!

I agree. Whenever the Jets, Fins, or Pats* make a free agency move or trade, everybody here just assumes that they got miles better. I read a post about all the moves that the Pats* are making and how they're automatically going to be the class of the East again, as if Galloway is obviously still an impact WR and Leigh Bodden is suddenly a coverage god.

Fair enough, I'm sure they don't completely disappear, but I just don't think that many of the winners have lived up to the billing of "American Idol", besides maybe Underwood on the country circuit.

Can somebody explain to me the appeal of this show (besides of course they hot chick that you guys are mentioning)? I watched a few episodes over the years with my sister and ex-girlfriend, and I just never got it. All they do is sing crappy re-hashes of classic songs and then everybody cries when somebody gets voted off. Eventually somebody wins but what do they win? A recording contract? I honestly don't know. Furthermore, it seems like you never hear from these people again. Somehow Kelly Clarkson became famous which is strange because she is a horrible singer. I know that Clay Aiken had his 15 minutes of fame but you never hear from him anymore. Have any of the other winners gone on to anything big? You never hear about them after the show is over. I know my mom was obsessed with that Taylor Hicks guy, but he just disappeared. I'm not trying to piss on anyone's Cheerios or criticize you for watching the show, but I'm legitimately curious about why it is SO effing popular.
