  1. It's definitely a great song. Kinda makes me sad, but in a cathartic way.
  2. Eagles are definitely overrated IMO. They have a lot of talent in the glamour positions, but may fall short when it's time to get down and dirty in the trenches.
  3. Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but has anybody ever actually seen Peter Pan, Trent Edwards and dog14787 in the same place at the same time? Sorta makes ya think...
  4. You got that right. I wonder where DJ's next stop at the hot chick buffet is going to be. Emmanuelle Chriqui, perhaps? That's who I'd shoot for. My link
  5. Good news! Here's to hoping Kyle is a Bill for his career and Dareus is a fitting partner in crime
  6. If Moran wants to improve as a writer, learning how to express himself concisely would be a good start. The length of his apology steals from whatever genuine contrition exists and screams "Look! I'm a good guy! I'm apologizing! Respect me!" That said, it was a much nobler gesture than just slinking into the shadows.
  7. No, the Mendoza Line is 50%. 60% is rather decent.
  8. Oh, that's a very good point. Regardless, I get the feeling that most people thought he'd fade into obscurity after being waived.
  9. I think Shawne sincerely appreciates the fact that the Bills brought him in last year and gave him a shot when a lot of other people/organizations had written him off as a lost cause. So even when another injury ended his season, there was a sense of loyalty there. Now I think that gratitude is manifesting itself in a much improved LB corps and I couldn't be happier about it!
  10. Assuming we signed him for relative pennies, would that be such a bad thing?
  11. Sorry guys. Had to try it after somebody brought it up earlier in the thread.
  12. Ugh. Gailey says Dareus will miss significant time. No further word yet.
  13. Haha relax, it was a South Park reference. I wouldn't have said anything if you didn't use the words "time to go".
  14. You think it's time to go for Spiller? You should go to his house and burn a lower-case "t" to let him know.
  15. Tennessee basketball is perhaps the only major program where the women are a bigger ticket than the men. That's owed 100% to Pat Summitt. This is some really sad news.
  16. I AM THE ONE WHO KNOCKS! that mini-rant of Walt's sent a chill up my spine, brilliant stuff.
  17. Interesting take. He just doesn't strike me as an organic character, especially on a show that's ostensibly about the darkness of the human spirit.
  18. I agree. I think the team will show marginal improvements in a lot of different ways from last year and finish somewhere in the territory of 7-9, and that next year's draft will hopefully do for the offense what this year's seems to have done for the defense.
  19. I wouldn't be so sure about that...apparently he's broke and not allowed to head overseas because of a weapons charge. He's not exactly the type of player that's going to sign a lucrative deal with Nike, so where's his cash flow going to come from?
  20. I feel ya there, man. But if I think of it this way...if Kelsay played for a competent organization he'd be known as an above average second stringer who's great in the lockerroom. He'd come in when another player needed a breather, and might even start a few games due to injuries. Heck, he'd probably pick up a couple sacks and be a fan favorite. As it stands, he plays for an organization that's convinced he's a starter for whatever reason.
  21. Why would you hate a man for not being good at football? And really, you only hate him for not being good at football relative to other NFL players. Relative to everybody in the world, he is shockingly good at football. If you read this board, Chris, I like you buddy!
