  1. Right on. It's one of my least favorite parts of humanity - we all have a million excuses in storage for when we mess up (or appear to mess up), but when it's somebody else...well, they're just being a douche. We spend so much time being irrationally upset at strangers.
  2. Because we allow it to be that way. If the majority of the people who held a distaste for the two party system stopped acquiescing to it, you'd see legitimate change. Maybe not in the first election, but eventually majorities would become pluralities.
  3. Oh for the love of God... There are a million different reasons why he would've been a no show, and most of them have nothing to do with immaturity. He's got two little kids. Maybe one of them has the flu and he's been cleaning up barf and diarrhea all day. We just don't know. What is it with Bills fans who complain about the lack of talent and then want to run the talented players out of town for dumb reasons?
  4. Does this post like to get freaky with other posts about testosterone?
  5. For a very short AP article, there are multiple confusing items... 1. Since when do juries get to hand out symbolic money? 2. How do you die 12 years after being set on fire? 3. A guy set an 8 year old child on fire, but he's in prison for an unrelated charge? How is that not life in prison or at least 25 years?
  6. Dude. Just give it 12 more years. The Bills will be a 6-10 before ya know it!
  7. Is it still the weakest division? St. Louis has sucked, but Arizona and Seattle are coming on strong down the stretch. By record, the worst division is the AFC South.
  8. Ok, let's just say that your theory is true and that bachelors are better at football that married dads. Do you actually know that the Bills of the last decade have had more family men than the other teams or are you just guessing?
  9. http://www.entertainment-bureau.com/eb-originals-presents-moonlight-a-vampire-chronicle-by-jay-sage/1348 (yes, it's a spoof)
  10. The original statement was regarding elite players, not elite high draft picks.
  11. Lets see how it shakes out in the playoffs. I hope the two teams play each other and I suspect the Packers would win handily.
  12. To all the children of the tribe out there, here's hoping the Hanukkah Badger brings you some fun gifts! (It's something that I'm trying to mainstream)
  13. It's not just pathetic, it's downright bizarre. For a middling offense like the Bills', let's say they should typically convert 3rd downs at a 35% rate. So the chances of missing entirely on a sample size of 23 3rd down chances is 0.65 ^ 23 = .00005 = .005% = 1 in 500,000 chance.
  14. OP is correct. Polamalu is pretty good, but he's known mostly for his hair - sorta like Fitz' beard. Whitner is an old school guy who just shuts his yap and plays.
  15. I, for one, appreciate the effort that Stevie has given all season. You can tell he's been nursing injuries from pretty much the beginning of the season. Despite all that, plus having no supporting cast at WR, he should have another 1,000 yard campaign (872 right now, plus 6 TD). Focus on the mistakes if you like. He's had an admirable season overall.
  16. Or maybe Barries like Switzer, Manilow and White would be positioned on the GG bridge to talk folks out of it.
  17. Can't really speak to NW Washington in 1993, seeing as I was 4. But I was referring more to the rock movement than the social movement...some great bands came of it. Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Temple of the Dog, Nirvana, Screaming Trees.
  18. A strawberry isn't technically a berry. A watermelon is, though. So maybe there are some watermelons there.
