  1. Didn't bother to average again, but I just recounted and got 57 responses. My conclusion is that I'm losing my mind.
  2. Pretty good farce, but the implication that McKelvin gave a comprehensible quote is a step too far.
  3. I'm 23. Rather vague memories of Jim Kelly and company. I became a fan around the time of the Flutie/Johnson business. Always figured it would start getting better.
  4. "I TOLD you Walt Junior was going to choke on his breakfast cereal, exposing his toupee after receiving the heimlich maneuver and revealing him as a younger cloned version of Mike, sent into the past to destroy meth operations in the American Southwest!"
  5. Just like Victor, Todd knows how to make the blue stuff in a very specific lab set up, provided there are no unforeseen variables. So long as there is a demand for the product, Walt lives. I think it's more likely he gets strong-armed into working again than simply offed.
  6. 9/11, Nazi Germany, Armenian Genocides, Rwanda, Bosnia, Cambodian Killing Fields, and those are just a few of dozens from the 20th/21st century. We've been doing this to each other since the dawn of man. And yes, all humans.
  7. The world can be a cruel place. Sad that fellow human beings are so often agents of that cruelty.
  8. Each year until now, I've thought "Wow, that was already ___ years ago? It feels like yesterday." That sensation must have reached a tipping point because even though the memory remains visceral and clear, it now feels like a long time ago. Anybody else experiencing that?
  9. We can look for reason after reason. At the end of the day, it's regression to the mean. Fitz is an NFL veteran who was a subpar/borderline starter before he got to Buffalo, and that he remains. Each one of his seasons bears this out both statistically and on a more abstract level of general efficacy. And hey, he shouldn't apologize for that. The fault lies in the Bills who decided the absolute pinnacle of his effectiveness was a good time to negotiate. These weren't the same exact guys who extended Dick Jauron after 6 games, but "he who doesn't learn history is doomed to repeat it."
  10. The best D-linemen all have games where they look invisible. MAYBE except Demarcus Ware. I've not seen a Cowboys game and not noticed him. But my point is that one game doesn't really put a DE in a position where he needs to save face. A few might.
  11. These Jets games have taken on an almost supernatural importance to Two Bills Drive. With New England, we expect to lose. With Miami, we expect to win and then the inevitable loss is almost funny. The Jets fall somewhere in between where it feels like we're matched up evenly...so when we get pasted to the turf it feels like an insult. The insatiable Tebow Media only makes things worse. Thankfully the whole Manning story took place.
  12. How many current Fitz threads are there? I realize most people have frustrations to bear, but unless you've got a thought that's been thoroughly unexplored why not post in one of the other threads? The eventual consolidation is just more work for the mods.
  13. Ain't these threads ridiculous? These guys must gloat when they call a coin flip right, jeezus.
  14. That was one of the questions that John Anderson (first winner of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?) had to answer, if I remember correctly.
  15. What do you mean Spiller is out of excuses? He's a good player. "Fred Jackson is among the best running backs in the NFL" is the only excuse necessary.
  16. Sorry to hear of your loss, Guffalo. I'll be thinking of you if the Bills do your Dad proud today.
  17. I have a negative opinion of field turf. Look at how many of our guys specifically fall to lower body injuries.
  18. If you want to make a living off of one-liners, you better be !@#$ing good at it. Mitch was the best. Better than Rodney Dangerfield. I'm with ya til the very end, Pooj. By which I mean that's an awesome list with a piece of **** at the very end.
  19. Admittedly, I haven't seen Lucky Louie. Regarding Louie, it's best to think of it as an absurdist drama with comedic elements than a sitcom. A lot of people expect to belly laugh and are disappointed.
  20. Wow, different strokes for different folks. I think Louie is one of the best shows on TV.
