  1. Best player in the NFL. I could hardly believe he didn't impact the 1st half of our game against them but he almost won them the game in the 2nd half.
  2. Cowboys are assumed to be better because of recognizable names on offense but these NFC East teams are all equally bad.
  3. This is probably the worst parity I've seen in the NFL. The bottom 10 teams are abominations who can essentially only beat one another.
  4. And week 8 against NE will be inestimably important to stay away from the muck of that wildcard race.
  5. The AFC is significantly better than the NFC this year. Two good AFC teams will miss the playoffs.
  6. What a damn mess. I'll be really proud of this team if they play good football in whatever the next game is.
  7. I agree that setting a precedent that interrupting the schedule = forfeit is almost guaranteed to cause a competitive imbalance down the line, and making it contingent on broken protocol is a massive gray area too. But unless the NFL is going to add entire weeks for makeup games, how else do you proceed in the long run?
  8. Some good memories from those barren years were Tannehill running for his life from Kyle and Mario.
  9. Bills 23, Titans 21 - Bass comes up big
  10. Escaped her basement. What year is it? Is Trent really an MVP candidate?
  11. We'll see. I predict they finish 11-5 and we beat them at home.
  12. I thought that San Diego's looked great. Denver's were meh, but the two of them combined were a good color scheme. I've hated pretty much all the other ones, especially Bills vs Jets. Christmas in Hell. There are no powerhouses in the AFC this year. The Pats* are obvious favorites right now, but even they don't seem as intimidating as they have before.
  13. Except that Tyrod hasn't been turnover-prone at all.
  14. Despite the terrible QB play, I actually find this type of game tense and entertaining. In the sense that whichever defense cracks first loses.
  15. That was pretty awesome. If only Dez had seen it.
  16. I think that was an optical illusion after the ball hit the upright. Still, terrible miss. Why exactly isn't Carpenter getting these reps?
  17. Well, in certain situations it would be ludicrous not to go for the extra point. But in general I agree. Score the first TD of the game? Why not be aggressive and try to grab an 8 point lead?
  18. I always find it laughable when people assert that a team has "nothing to play for". Really? As if the playoffs become out of reach and the players say, "Oh well, see you next year for more football." Every player has hundreds of people ready and willing to replace them.
  19. I'll also be a devil's advocate and say that I didn't love the pass break up. It worked, but he barely knicked the ball and almost let the receiver walk into the end zone. He had an easier opportunity to force Thompkins out at the 35 yard line, where the Jets still would have only had 17 second and no timeouts.
  20. Except for Cousins, these QBs play for teams with very good defenses. Are you suggesting that Teddy Bridgewater or Brock Osweiler would have made the Bills a playoff team? On your list, I'd only take Wilson and Palmer over Tyrod.
  21. And eradicating that type of behavior from happening in the first place will be priority #1 next season. No man prioritizes himself over the team.
  22. Including on the ground, Tyrod scored 24 touchdowns and gave the ball away 7 times. That type of 3:1 ratio only leaves teams with terrible defenses out of the playoffs.
