That Cardinals loss is one of the most absurd I've seen. Up by multiple TDs they fumbled a ball on the 1 yard line through the EZ at the end of what would have been a 72 yard run. Then they intercepted Cam Ward to ice the game except that the DB fumbled the ball back without being hit and Lockett picked it up for a Titans TD. They were still ahead at that point but proceeded to play not to lose, and then lost.
Hurts has thrown the ball 33 times compared to Saquon running it 6 times and the Eagles are losing. It's hard not to believe that this gameplan isn't due to AJ Brown and Devonta Smith objecting to the lack of targets. This is what happens when you let the inmates run the asylum.
RBs earning big second (even third) contracts is officially a thing again. Henry, Barkley, Jacobs, Cook.
Even known injury risks like Javonte Williams and JK Dobbins are succeeding in a second phase of their careers.
Toward the end of the Josh Allen mic’d up video there’s footage of Ray Davis in the huddle and he looks very little like the short/stout RB we saw last year, almost like a non-athlete. I wonder if he actually lost more like 20-25 lbs instead of the 15 that’s been cited. A pretty grievous mistake on his part in my opinion.
Let's be real - Landon Jackson wasn't known as some project player. He was a first team All-SEC DE. His not being able to crack the rotation behind Javon Solomon means something has disappointed the team about his development. Bear in mind Hoecht is also coming back so if that unit stays healthy I'm guessing we don't see him play meaningful snaps til next year.
