  1. Go Cardinals!! But it will be Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl. Kurt Warner and many of the players on the Cards team are simply the least annoying players in the league. Just look at all the douche bags I could name off on the rest of the teams left in the playoff race....
  2. Actually your pyloric sphincter would be considered your inner circle. your bunghole would be your outer circle.
  3. I'll take it 3 weeks farther back. I went to the St. Louis game, and after we snuck out of there with one of the worst efforts I have ever witnessed against a team with a concussed starting QB, a coach in his last game, and a WR who probably has a hip replacement, I told my Dad on the way home I didn't feel good about the rest of the season. By that game, the team's "Cute" slow starts in the previous week's games had begun to last WELL into the 3rd quarter, and were more a telling tale that this team was in some serious trouble. Poor run blocking, very little down field passing, a horrendous defensive effort, and lousy 3rd down conversions against the Rams made that game hard to watch. Yes, I was glad to be walking out of there with the win at that time, and was HOPING the coaching staff noticed the trouble the team was in, but the writing was on the wall, this team did not improve much, if at all from the previous year. UGGGGHH!!!
  4. ^^ 100% agree. If not the 60's current throw backs, then get back to the white pants, blue jersey look at home, but NEVER the white jersey, Blue pants combo ever again. That combo is horrid, and not to mention from an era of the poorest Bills seasons ever.
  5. Not many teams in the league do. Hell I'd take a receiver with 1/2 Fitz' talent and another with 1/3 of Boldin's heart in a second!
  6. Honestly, after seeing how well the cards have been playing in this year's NFC playoffs, it makes even more sense the beating we took from them was as bad as it was. I don't care if trent played, or Joe Montana in that game, the defense had no answer to Kurt Warner, who in my opinion looks a lot like he did in 1999-2001. Welcome Back Kurt! Hey, if the Cards want to start Leinart Next year, I'll buy your plane ticket to WNY!!
  7. That's true about both, and I think if you add another high motor LB into the rotation on this team like a guy like Mitchell, Crowell then looks even better.
  8. I hope I'm wrong in saying this, but I don't see Hardy developing. If he comes back next year from surgery, he HAS TO show something that looks like he is working his ass off to be on the field. Sorry, but he looked really easy to cover, confused, and emotionless before the injury.
  9. There are two truths to a guy like Crowell: On One hand is that he was indeed missed on defense for the Bills this year, no question, but on the other he would have a hard time making the roster on most of the playoff teams this year(Except San diego) Don't mis-read me though, I do like him on the field given our current roster.
  10. Very true, and Emmitt probably has one one of those "Advanced Gym and Fitness" Degrees too.
  11. Short list(Along with Keyshawn) of Espn/NFL Network Analysts that should never express opinion or offer insight on NFL games due to their lack of any knowledege of the game. And secondly, their complete lack of intelligence or ability to conceive rational thought, and thirdly their ability to speak in a clear and concise manner: 1. Shannon Sharpe - come on now!! I need to turn on the subtitles on my TV just to get an idea of what he is saying 2. Emmitt Smith - This guy is so stupid it actually makes me think my Buff State degree is gooder than his. 3. Michael Irvin - Total Douche, coke head asswhipe who has 0 clue where he is going when he opens his mouth, and his HOF speech is an insult to anyone and everyone with integrity everwhere. What a joke, give me a break, I saw it as the media "look at me" !@#$ that he is. 4. Ron Jaworski - Come on now, all he does is follow popular trends on his analysis. 5. Warren Sapp - Really? Watching him fumble through a broadcast is harder to watch than the WNBA... drunk even...
  12. That used to be one of my jokes during my long time drinking binge at Coles......
  13. Best statement about the Niagara falls reagion I have ever read. On topic though, Aside from the fancy concourses and indoor merchandise shopping plazas of the newer stadiums, Ralph wilson stadium is still a very well laid out facility, it's still very easily accessible, and most of the seats are on par with the best outdoor stadiums. I have been to most of the newest stadiums in the NFL now, St. Louis, Tampa, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Houston, and Chicago. Honestly, Sitting in the Ralph, and the ease in which you can get around the stadium once inside the gates ranks with the best. I guess my point is I really don't see a need for a new stadium at all, but that's not to say I wouldn't love to see one built in downtown Buffalo.
  14. lol. what a simpleton you are.......
  15. You have to go with Lynch and Jackson on offense, and defensively it's clearly Mitchell and Mcgee. Special teams, no brainer: Moorman
  16. Dick Jauron's contract extension is through 2011, the stadium lease is up in January 2012, and no coaching changes, GMs, or serious moves are being made to improve the team in any way. Sadly, the writing is on the wall, Ralph doesn't care about a winning team anymore, and is just holding on till he's gone. IMO this is selfish on his part and dooming the franchise's future in WNY. Dick Jauron is merely filling a role that Ralph needs filled, and he doesn't care the outcome at the end of the season. When you ask the question: Why put all that effort towards a successful product when you won't be around to reap it's benefits? Is it really a surprise that this team will not be a winner anymore? Only a miracle new owner that intends to keep the team in WNY with the desire to win will change the current status quo.
  17. I couldn't agree more... while I thank the man for bringing a franchise here in 1959, I definitely think he owes the city of Buffalo and all the die hard fans that have been there year after miserable year one. Like PLEASE sell the team to the Jim Kelly group before its too late, you are no longer fit to run a successful football operation.
  18. I don't want to simplify this debate because it's replys are some of the most well thought out i have read in a while, but I don't see any defensive scheme change being the end all answer to any team's performance. The T2, the 46, the 3-4 and 4-3 with different blitz and cover packages, what it will always come down to in any scheme is execution with players that are good. Add a pass rush to this year's defense, and I don't care who, but add a strong pass rush and this team competes in some of those wide margin losses, and we beat the dolphags twice. We have decent talent, just not enough up front, and a lack of confidence in M2M coverage. I'd also like to throw a jab at the DC, I don't think he had his players in the best position to win this year, especially late in games and 3rd downs.
  19. Ooohh I'll field this one - Lonnie because he got lit up in Green Bay when he wasn't paying attention down field, started to showboat a little, then WHAMMY!!
  20. I haven't thought about this in a while... but I seriously agree. I don't know why, but I always thought Todd had a great sense of ball placement, threw a tight spiral, and a quiet confidence about him. Hell he orchestrated the greatest Bills comeback in regular season(Bills) history, 26 points. If you look at the bags of crap that have played the position since him, he looks like he might have won more games for the franchise.
  21. I'll keep watching till the bitter end, and sadly the writing is on the wall that this team is not long for Buffalo. If you were asking me this same question knowing the team was going to stay in Buffalo for the next 40 years guaranteed, then I'd not watch, acknowledge, or reference the team until they wised up and started running the team like a champion organization does. I am the most loyal of fans, but the effort at the top has been quite embarrassing lately, almost Matt Millen-like in it's stupidity. And we all know who pulls the puppet strings at One Bills Drive.
  22. One thing in life will always remain constant and unwavering- You can't polish a turd.
  23. The 2009 Buffalo Bills: Hey at least we have a 50/50 shot at winning the coin toss!! Never mind...... 'ol DJ will just defer.... Dammit!!!
  24. ^^ +1, except for the 0-20 part
  25. Oh my GOD!!! If we don't get him in here, I'll lose an easy ten years off my life!!! Someone above said something about the Jets probably landing him..... I don't know why, but I could totally see that happening...
