  1. It is a discussion forum, where I posted my opinion, and opened up my views for all to debate, pro or con. While I see this game as a possible trap is MY opinion, I enjoy reading other points to argue and debate. Your insults are purely childish and completely de-value any point you were trying to make. Seriously
  2. Valid points and I don't disagree one bit. I'd still hold that mess in higher regard than the horse fodder the Bills faced last sunday. My original point was that they(Rams) are still an NFL team, and the Bills need to approach the game with as much ferocity as if they were still the greatest show on turf. Most of the fans here in Nashville Bills Backers club were a little surprised at how close this game was. But given the points you made it is very unlikely they will play very good, but not impossible that won't be trying to win and play to previous capability.
  3. To be perfectly correct, Lisa Simpson used it in an episode where she was explaining to Homer her feelings while playing the Saxaphone. I do believe it was used in context
  4. I am comparing: 1. a pro bowl QB to a lousy Jamarcus Russell 2. a pro bowl RB to an unproven and injured Raider RB corps 3. a Raider O'line that made the '05 Bills O'line look like the Hogs 4. Holt & company to the Raiders grab bag of useless Wr's My point is simple. This Ram team has proven it can score in years past, the raiders have proven Jrussell and their game plan reeked of a fairchild/holcomb outing. I never mentioned defense.
  5. The tailgating partys sounds awesome, I'm going to the game, but will probably drive myself. Any more details about this llittle gathering? What time will you be starting?
  6. Honestly, as time passes, and jacksonville and Seattle get back on track, and I'm pretty confident they will, those wins will look that much better. make no mistake about these power rankings... San diego, J'ville, Indy, and the Patriots are still nothing to sneeze at, and after seing San Diego make the J E T S (bretts, bretts, bretts) look everything like a 4-12 team should look, I won't be at all surprised to see them in the top 5 by this season's 1/2 way point. IMO as always.
  7. Really?? Care to explain, or even compare their QB, receiving, RBs, and O'line side by side? Since you have absolutely nothing to back up your useless post, thanks for the bump.
  8. Without naming teams, I'd say the BIlls are a top ten team at this point in the season... I'd like to agree more with the CBS sportsline ranking....
  9. I was and still am a JP supporter, and I still want to see him succeed, but with the rise of Trent, I wish him the best, as we are now going down the road with Trent as our team's QB of the future. I am pretty sure JP won't be with the Bills next year, and I would love to see him get a chance to develop while it's still not too late. He really did get a raw deal here, (idiot Mularky, dumba$$ Fairchild, lack of talent, and the worst offensive line in NFL history at the time)
  10. Commentary- With a nice start for our beloved team and sitting nicely at 3-0, it is easy to think we can and will roll over every weak team now on our schedule. I have tickets to the Bills/Rams game, and again am not thinking this will be a slaughter, but have quiet faith we will win the game. St. louis still has some serious talent on offense, and if the Bills offense plays as poorly(3 qtrs) as they did this past sunday, this game might turn out to be a disappointment and a loss for the Bills. St. louis has far more talent and experience than the Raiders, and being a game on the road, could spell trouble. I am not suggesting the Rams are one play away from being good, but our Bills still show a lot of areas that need some serious improvement before I see them as a top conference team. Don't get me wrong, this team is a playoff team, but we are some strategy, run blocking, line backing depth, and a receiving corps deep ball threat away from being the top team. Lets face it, any team is capable of beating the other, I just hope this young team plays each week to the best of its ability, and we take each opponent very seriously.
  11. I think an honest list of the crappiest TV commentators in no particular order are: Keyshawn Johnson - Me thinks he could possibly be ACTUALLY illiterate Emmitt Smith - Proof that you don't need a 4th grade education to go to college Michael Irvin - Seriouly, this coke head is unreal, and his HOF speech was such BS - total douche bag Joe theisman - really? no comments needed Dan dierdorf - I didn't know they piled sh-- that high. My Best TV Analyst list Chris berman Tom jackson Terrell Davis Steve mariucci - Very intuitive Deion Sanders - only because he has very insightful knowledge of defensive schemes, and pass routes Jim Mora - Playoffs? PLAYOFFS??? - nuff said Rich Eisen - He is more of a facillitator, but I really like his analysis This is not the end all list, just my opinion, but the Worst list should be publicly posted and submitted for their immediate dismissal.
  12. ^^ Word to your mother!! I love the throw backs!!
  13. I decided to chime in on this Parcells will have the Miami Dolphags playing playoff football by 2010. several things are different with that organization and this situation. 1. he is not coaching this team 2. His methods and approach have softened/passed him by over the years 3. The dolphags front office doesn't have a solid ownership/decision making history 4. Has lost touch with good assistant coaches in the league Look at his steady decline in results since coaching the Giants 1. Giants - Super Bowl winners - 2 and I give credit for the victory over the Bills DIRECTLY to Bellichick. yes, that defense beat us. 2. Patriots - Super Bowl Loser - 1 3. Jets - AFC championship - Loser 4. Dallas - Playoff 1st round exits Is that not proof enough this guy should go play golf somewhere in florida, Buy a Buick, drink some Prune juice and catch the early bird specials at the nearest Four seasons? I am THRILLED this has-been will linger in Miami for a while, that means the dolphags will suck that much longer.
  14. Two of last year's top playoff teams from both conferences played early on our schedule are now in the bag. I don't care where you park the frickin bandwagon, I'm a bills fan through any conditions, and I'm going to enjoy these victories no matter how many injuries those teams had. I can tell you where I'd like to stuff the bandwagon though..... Quit moaning, enjoy this team to it's fullest while we can, or until it is known they will be the Bills for a very long time.
  15. Wow John Fuzak... Still a douche bag after all these years. How is Mom's basement these days??
