Can't stand Travis, but Jason is great and he would be fun to have here. That being said, it ain't happening, makes no sense for us, and if he does go back and play it will 100% be Eagles as no one is trading draft assets for an old center on a 1 year rental.

Yup. Until we hear REAL information that is confirmed and says otherwise. He was an excellent teammate all season and he declared his desire to retire here this offseason amongst all the nonsense rumors. Beane stated the same. If others want to fall for social media click bait, thats on them. LMAO you are the one who just told me to stop wearing rose colored glasses. Me telling you to stop wearing a tin foil hat makes me arrogant but not you for your comment? lol ok bud

Allen will just run right past Poyer, he is probably faster than Poyer at this point.

You see...this is your issue. You think direct answers are fake and if you believe facts its looking at it with "rose colored glasses" and that its less reliable than the confirmation bias conspiracy theories you tin foil hat wearers come up with. So maybe you should stop wearing the tin foil hat. It was this offseason where he stated he wants to retire a Bill, hopes he isn't traded and that Josh is family. He made it clear like a month ago he doesn't want to be traded, he directly stated that and directly stated he wants to retire a Bill.
-
Lol, as if that would change anything. Didn't stop any of you when he came out and said he wants to retire a Bill and hopes he isn't traded...you ALL still piled on him even then and just called him a liar. So maybe stop making up stupid narratives off meaningless tweets
-
He stated last year during the season and again this offseason how he gets tired of answering the same questions every time he has already directly answered. The media keeps trying to bait him into to saying something they can twist to be a click bait, he knows it, and he is over it. It doesn't matter what he says, no one believes anything other than the conspiracy they are searching for confirmation bias on which is why they clip pieces of an interview to make it look like it was "cryptic" where if you listen to the whole interview it wasn't. He made his stance clear on wanting to remain in Buffalo...what anyone else tries and decipher from every little thing he does is on them, not him.
-
LMAO...you cant be serious. HE DID END IT. You just chose not to believe his DIRECT statements of wanting to be here, retire a Bill, his desire NOT to be traded, his love for Josh, etc. Beane ALSO ended it and made it clear they believe in Diggs 100% as a WR1 here this year.
-
Except he's not really, he has FLAT OUT stated he wants to be a Bill, retire a Bill, loves Josh, and hopes he isn't traded. You guys just are sooooooo desperate for drama and for every other tweet to mean something nefarious. What is absolutely crazy to me is that you people actually believe conspiracy theories, rumors, and click bait nonsense more than you actually believe DIRECT FACTS coming out of the mouth of ALL the people in question. Beane, Josh, Diggs, etc have all flat out made concise and clear statements about Diggs and his future here this year...yet you people disregard all of it as if its NOT true info and instead just make up your own theories using your Cracker Jack Secret Decoder Rings to decipher things to mean something totally different. Heck, if I was him, I would just troll all the internet trolls on the regular because it's going to happen no matter what he does or posts. So I don't feel sorry for gullible internet slaves who fall for every click bait article and internet rumor that go get themselves all worked up about nothing.

It’s honestly embarrassing as a Bills fan to see threads like this, comments like he gets on social, etc. Like I said before, Diggs gets covered worse in the media and treated worse by fans than Tyreek Hill who is a known woman and child abuser who got more women pregnant last year than the Panthers had wins.

Bills have private workout scheduled with WR Troy Franklin

I don't think Beane would do a significant trade back and can see him including another one of our Day 3 picks to try and get the 3rd rounder without moving back too far. There are days I feel like Beane is gonna be aggressive and go get someone like Thomas (or Odunze if he falls far enough between a QB run and something insane like Worthy going ahead of him) in the late teens to early 20's...then moments I see him staying put at 28...and then other moments where a small trade back comes into play. This far out its hard to get a good read on the situation, but all 3 are equally viable options as we sit here today. -

Lol...I can pretty much guarantee that we are not taking a WR in the first and then trading up from 60 to get another. You do realize we just signed Samuel for 3 years right? Unless this all about your crusade to trade Diggs before the draft...also something not happening. -

Great move and news -
Justin Simmons released (now visiting N'awlins)
Alphadawg7 replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was not at all advocating for him to start, it is crystal clear he is not a starter in the NFL, was just stating he led the team in tackles over that 13 games so he at least contributed in some fashion as more of a reason why he could make the team as a backup. But admittedly, while I knew he wasn't great in coverage, was not aware it was that bad assuming your stats are correct. If that is the case, then not only are we going to sign/draft a starter, but he may not make the final roster. -

People don't realize Hamlin led the team in tackles over that 13 game stretch too. Don't get me wrong, I know Hamlin is not the answer, and I do expect someone else to come in and be the starter via draft or FA, just saying its not like Hamlin was a total scrub either. -
Based on your list of players: Diggs: 1100-1200 Shakir: 700-1000 Kincaid: 700-900 Rookie: 500-700 Samuel: 500-700 Cook: 300-500 Knox: 100-300 Hollins: 100-200 Shorter: 0-100 People are still sleeping on Shakir. His reliability was the best on the team and was our best WR down the stretch and playoffs. He will be a big part of our offense this year. Honestly, I would easily have Shakir well over 1000 yards if it wasn't for the fact we have a lot of mouths to feed. Meanwhile, Samuel likely starts outside with Diggs to start the season with our rookie likely rotating in with Samuel. But I expect Samuel to dominate the snaps early in the season as the rookie builds trust with Allen and the coaches. If the rookie earns that trust, then I think he will start getting more opportunities in the 2nd half of the season. I put him in yardage ahead of Samuel because I think the rookie probably gets more chunk plays and big plays but less catches, so he will probably put up more yards than Samuel. I don't expect any one player to have a massive statistical season because this offense is going to be loaded and ball will be spread around, plus I expect the run game to be a big part of our offense still next year with Cook.

Agree with this...my thoughts too. If there is a run on WR's like many expect, I would love to see us trade back and get a 3rd back in this draft and be able to take someone from that 2nd tier of WR's because many of those guys would be 1st rounders in many other drafts. I agree on the 3 you listed of Franklin, Leggette, and Coleman plus I would include McConkey and Pearsall as well in that tier. And of that group, I go back and forth on which of those guys I would want the most ( Franklin - Liked him before the combine, but obviously some of his times created concerns, but give he was sick I am in a wait and see with him. Leggette - Lowest floor, maybe highest ceiling of this group. My concerns for me are that he has a lot of the same weaknesses that Gabe Davis had and limited production. But he does have some insane physical attributes. Coleman - Like Franklin, had some times at combine create concerns, but he is the most "open even when not open" guy maybe in the draft. He is a go up and get it guy and probably fills the biggest need in the WR room of size and toughness. McConkey - This guy has the highest floor IMO, but question marks are is he a true WR1 at the next level. Pearsall - Doesn't get as much attention as a lot of the other guys, but he should. He had one of the best combines too of all the WR's and likely improved his draft projections and I think locked himself into the 2nd round. If Franklin shows the combine times are no concern and just because he was sick, he would move back into consideration for me. If we don't trade down, but instead stay at 28 and take another position like DL or something, then I would hope we use some of our picks to move from our 2nd round pick to get the WR they want and not just wait and see who falls to them as most of those guys are likely gone before our 2nd round pick. -

He's reportedly been impressing since the combine and his weight is back up. So I wouldn't condemn him over the combine, I am still intrigued by him and think he is going to improve on a lot of the stuff he disappointed with at the combine. How much is yet to be seen, but I am really curious to see how his private workout goes. -
Haha spot on. Literally Stefon Diggs gets worse coverage in the media and by fans than Tyreek Hill does who got more women pregnant last year than the Panthers had wins and is a confirmed woman and child abuser. Let that sink in for a moment.

At least all the posters in this thread spreading misinformation and fake drama have totally exposed their agenda is all total BS just to manufacturer a narrative to try and manipulate other "fans" to join their minority of their PERSONAL desire for Diggs to be traded. Ironic thing is that THEY are actually the drama, not Diggs. So that is at least one good thing is that the same few keep posting and further exposing their agenda. And yet there is no actual evidence of any drama of Diggs wanting out or the Bills actively trying to trade him.
-
I agree, although if we trade up then I think it’s doubtful we draft a 2nd WR unless the compensation used to move up has more to do with next years draft. Just think we need too many pieces in this draft to fill holes to both trade some picks to move up for a WR and also take a 2nd WR. Especially not having a 3rd rounder.

I think a move that big is really only appropriate for a QB. I think if Odunze gets into the back end of the teens or even to the twenties thanks to a combo of a big QB run and someone foolishly taking Worthy before Odunze then it’s a no brainer, assuming someone was willing to pass on him themselves and take a trade down.
