  1. Better question…how many times have you actually known that’s not the truth vs just making up your reality opposite of all known facts?
  2. This isn’t correct in this situation. That’s playing to try and not lose, not playing to win. Down 3 where a TD puts you up 4 and makes the other team have to drive the field, you 100% take the TD. So what if we get 3rd and 3, if we don’t convert then we kick a FG and Mahomes has a minute and a half with at least 1 timeout to WIN THE GAME on just a simple FG. The same Mahomes who twice got a FG at end half in 12 seconds and end of game in 13 seconds on this very Bills team the last 2 seasons. It’s mathematically and statistically incorrect to turn down a 4 point lead there to pick up a few yards and still not be assured of either a first down or even a score. Not to mention every additional play brings more risk of a turnover too. The game plan down three is get a TD at all costs, not risk just tying the game on a FG where the opponent can win with time on the clock to get their own FG. Especially when we struggled on D all night.
  3. What part of Frazier literally saying he is taking a year off because he needs a break is confusing to you about him now a year later taking interviews for a promotion as a HC?
  4. You mean like how you just made that up. Frazier has repeatedly made it very clear why he needed a break and when he made the decision. It had nothing to do with McD pushing him out. But hey, why listen to facts from the sources themselves when you can just manufacture your own narratives right?
  5. Its because the talking heads don't care about facts. They talk about what is easy and what will stir up clicks. Nobody cares about a defensive unit, but they all care about the QB. Talking heads have one format...someone take the pro and the rest take the negatively absurd. So they sound like we are covering all our bases, but really we just want to stir the pot with stupid statements to get people to click the clip or tune in.
  6. I didn't say he never talks to the media, I said he never talks to the media after playoff losses. He declined last week too even in a win. Again, nothing against talking about him, just find it weird so many people try and twist everything he does to make him be someone he has proven he is not.
  7. Just feels like a leap in logic, which is my 2 cents. His brother has been tweeting about getting Diggs to Dallas for years, yet Diggs still signed an extension to stay here. So I just think you are reading too much into Treyvon doing what he has always done since Diggs basically got here where he has been tweeting for his brother to leave Buffalo. Treyvons words don't match Stefon's actions. So feels like a leap to assume this one time they suddenly do.
  8. You know the dumbest part of that complaint is...guess who leads the NFL in yards from passes at or behind the LOS the past 5 years? Mahomes...and by a 2 to 1 marging last I saw over the next closest QB.
  9. So where is your evidence that Stefon...while on the field still...contacted his brother and gave him the OK to tweet that? Did Diggs have a hidden cell phone in his jock to make contact with his brother? Was it sign language signals on TV? Or are you suggesting the two brothers got together prior to the game and said if there is an upset loss go ahead and start the tweeting? I mean...at the very least explain how stefon was involved in those tweets while still on the field when they happened. Otherwise, you are flat out inventing a narrative to support the bias you now have as you so put from your perception of last offseason.
  10. Agreed, especially with how important safety play has been in this defense. I think it is close to a certainty that Hyde is gone and probably retires and Poyer is near the end too even though I think he will play his last year out here next season.
  11. I honestly think we will see a defensive heavy draft this year. Fully expect WR (or 2), maybe an OL player...but I think the bulk of our picks are going to be on both getting younger and filling out the roster on the defensive side of the ball. We have most key players returning on offense and few holes left outside the biggest need at WR.
  12. Fair points as well Ah...I took that as in you watched Josh play last night...so yeah, there it is...just an initial misunderstanding. All good man, thanks for clearing that up and apologies for the confusion.
  13. You know, I forgot we had that many picks TBH. So, ok that makes a 2nd WR more viable. I am all for it, just also seeing a lot of FA's and little cap room to work with. So wasn't sure we had the luxury of doubling up on WR this year. But with that many picks, certainly makes it more viable.
  14. I don't disagree, I was talking draft picks though. I have a hard time seeing McD go into the season with Diggs, Shakir and a couple rookies and maybe unproven Shroter for example. So I expect some veteran help at WR to come via FA too. I think they need to get younger on D more than they do on offense right now. So I think they target at top WR prospect in the draft, and likely use the rest of the picks on other positions of need. But that being said, Beane is very BPA, so it won't surpirse me if they take a 2nd WR if he is the BPA on his board either. Just saying it is kinda scary how many players we may be set to lose in FA too, so lots of holes to potentially fill and not a lot of cap to do so.
  15. Fair points, but I think the role for Kincaid is much more than just an upgrade to Knox. Also, Diggs has been one of the best, and in multiple seasons was the best, down the field WR in the NFL. How many times did he get wide open downfield this year but Josh just missed him? I mean he still showed he can beat guys downfield this year. Look at KC for example...they had Hill and then Kelce...everyone else was a role player. Last year they had JuJu and Kelce and won the SB. This year they got a rookie in Rice and a declining Kelce, still beat us and in the AFCCG. That being said, I do realize Diggs is geting older now, but he was still proving to be a downfield threat, but for some reason him and Josh were both off. And we already know Josh had shoulder issues and said he had to change his delivery this year to adjust to it. And many believe Diggs had some injuries he played through as well, he sure as heck took a lot of big shots this year. So not that I disagree with you, I would love a top WR prospect on this team. But I also can't honestly say we didn't have that downfield threat on this team either when we have had Diggs for several years. And with Davis, I think the offense was better with him out and Shakir playing a bigger role. 38% of Allens INT's the past 2 years are on throws to Davis. Davis was out last 2 games...Allen had 0 interceptions. Shakir was excellent in both playoff games too, and had Davis played Shakir sees a lot less targets and snaps with how often we also run 2 TE sets.
  16. I was legit confused, not trying to do a gotcha thing. Not trying to be a jerk, just don't know where you were getting this impression from Josh in your OP if it wasn't from his pressers that you had just replied to me and said you didn't watch any of. And TBH I am not quite following why you are sending me a link to the end of season presser now too. All good, but since you said said you did not watch the pressers, maybe go watch them as they might help you feel better about where Josh's head is at in terms of how much it means to him still.
  17. Davis replacement is already here in the combo of Shakir and Kincaid. We are looking at a lot of potential losses on the defensive side of the ball, I don't know we have the luxury of going after 2 strong WR prospects in one draft this year. Of course if a WR is the clear BPA even if we have taken one already, I wouldn't be surprised they take 2, but I think one is more realistic with our cap situation and the number of FA's we have and aging players.
  18. I never once mentioned Diggs reading this forum, so not sure why you keep mentioning that. I simply asked why do people keep trying to force a negative narrative every time Diggs doesnsomething that he always does. Never seen a player whose every move is always being tried to be twisted into something negative. Him not talking to the press after the game is 100% normal. He normally does not talk to the press after the game, especially after hard losses like this one. But here people are acting like its abnormal and a bad sign and he is a bad person for doing the same thing he has always done and that MANY players do. its ridiculous.
  19. Actually sounds more like your narrative and your biased agenda towards an apparent dislike of Diggs. You literally are now just making up that Stefon was involved despite literally no evidence of that on or off the field. Again...what do you get out of just making up narratives to tear people down? I mean his brother tweeted it out while Stefon was STILL ON THE FIELD. But I guess in your mind it makes more sense that him and his brother got together with a premeditated plan for Treyvon to tweet these pre planned things out that him and Stef came up with if there was ever a moment where the Bills were upset in a loss. Somehow this makes more sense to you than his brother just spouting off his own thoughts live in the game. Its amazing to me how little actual logic is considered when people make up these narratives.
  20. When has Diggs ever spoke to the media after a playoff loss? People are too hung up on Minnesota IMHO and try really hard to apply those perceptions to him here. For example, he didn't go on a media tour and just relentlessly disparage the team. He talked openly and honestly while keeping everything about the issue he had in house at the same time. He never came out and threw anyone under the bus no matter how many times people try and act like he did. And this whole "screaming at his QB" on the sideline thing is ridiculous too. This happens every week with my closest friends in pickup basketball at a park, and we still go get lunch after and everything is all good. Players get into heated discussions, even scuffles with each other in practice, meetings, games, etc all the time. But only because it was Diggs it got way blown out of proportion when it was not even that big of a deal and minor compared to most times this happens with players. People need to accept Diggs for who he is rather than make him a villain for just being himself. He has been nothing but a model teammate all season, he stood by his team even in the struggles this year, he owned his captain role, his teammates and coaches love him. The narrative some people want to create just isn;t there, and its sad to see the Bills fan always looking for a reason to turn on him rather than understand him. So no disrespect Happy, I highly respect you as a poster, but I hard disagree with this recollection being more how people CHOOSE to see him vs how things really happened and how he has really been since being a Buffalo Bill.
  21. Ha, I am more than open to your opinion, I would love a big awesome WR too. My only slight tweak was I don't want to get a guy just because he is big who has some of the issues Davis has which is too one dimensional and not reliable enough. As I mentioned before, I said it on draft night and its only proved true so far, that Chargers were dumb for taking Quentin or Jordan. Don't force size is all I am really saying, I would rather have the better player than the bigger player if that makes sense. Plus Diggs is 31 this next season, we need a succession plan. So for me, I want to see them go get a guy who has WR1 potential rather than a guy who just compliments a WR1 like Digss with size. Hopefully, that WR1 also brings size to the table too though
  22. I didnt say it cant be discussed, I asked what is the point of manufacturing narratives over and over like this fan base loves to do. So I am directly asking what does one get out of doing that? Does it somehow make them feel better to unjustly tear someone else down for doing what he has always done in terms of how he processes these bad losses? Why isn't anyone talking about the huge hits Diggs took over and over again the past few weeks to just get back up and keep doing his job and laying it all on the line? Why aren't you talking about how most of the team didn't talk to the press, why is it only an issue with Diggs? Why aren't you discussing how much the staff and players love Diggs and accept him for who he is and how he processes things? No instead people want to tear him down...and for what? Because they think they are entitled to Diggs doing things in a different way than he has always handled them? Because they cant for even a moment truly understand the level of sacrfice, commitment, and competitive drive it takes to reach the levels he has reached let alone understand the pain that comes with the feeling it was all for nothing? Sorry...its just sad how as a society we feel the need to attack others to make ourselves feel better. Like these losers giving Bass death threats...Bills Mafia is supposed to mean more than that, and be better than that. And you are right it is a message board...hence my right to come in and ask what is the point of it. Who cares what his brother says. His brother been saying that BEFORE Digss signed his extension...and Diggs still signed an extension keeping him in Buffalo for rest of his best years of his career if not rest of his career. So again, who cares what his brother says
  23. I wouldn't say he has never had one though to be honest...Diggs was the number 1 deep ball WR in the NFL when we traded for him. He may not be big, but he played big. Then Davis has been a big target for him too. But Davis gets back to my original point where as I would rather have someone who consistently gets separation and always catches the ball then just a guy who has some occassional big jump balls. Davis only value was really on those straight line deep balls, and because of that he would disappear or barely factor in most games and then have a couple big games where he had those big downfield catches for TD's. Again, don't disagree it would be nice, I just don't want another Davis...if we bring some big target in, they need to be more reliable than Davis was.
  24. Above is your original post...notice the bolded In the bolded you just replied with here you seem to be contradicting your original post and now saying you didn't watch the post game presser. So I don't get it, when was Allen "chill about losing"..."saying the right things"..."giving the right answers"..."wasn't happy but resigned to it"..."like a beaten person"...if it wasn't in his presser you now say you didn't watch? I don't disagree that there shouldn't be a concern with major disappointing losses starting to become a culture and affecting the players to where they get almost numb to it. Heck I am practically numb to it at this point. All of our playoff losses have been hard to take going all the way back to Houston even. BUT...I don't know how you can say you saw any of that with Josh, especially now if you claim you didn't watch the press conference despite alluding to watching it in your first post. The one player on this team you don't have to worry about is Josh. He wants it as bad as any Bills fan and hurst just as much when they don't get it done. And you can see how hard he was taking it to in the press conference you may or may not have watched. I have all the confidence in the world in Josh's mentality and coming back as committed and focused as he always has been to winning the Super Bowl here.
  25. Its sad he is getting so much hate. We didnt lose the game because of Bass, I mean KC had a lot of time and 2 timeouts and all they needed was a FG against a defense that has failed to stop them from getting a FG in 13 seconds and 12 seconds and was only able to force even 5 3rd downs all game. So, even if Bass makes that kick, the odds are high that KC gets into FG range and takes the clock down and hits the game winner. No guarantee, but this by no means is why we lost the game. I mean there are so many plays...Kelce uncovered TD, Diggs dropped bomb, Dawkins stepping on Josh foot on the throw to Shakir for the go ahead TD, the OL not holding up on 3rd down forcing a FG attempt, etc. This was very different than Norwood...the moment we didn't convert on 3rd down I told my wife that is game. Tying the game giving Mahomes final possession is not a recipe to win, we needed the TD.
