People want to be mad at Hollins then go ahead. But that would be TD was a terrible throw by Allen. Hollins had to adjust because it was so bad. And yes, Hollins didn’t adjust well, but he shouldn’t have had to. Allen threw it too far and to Hollins outside shoulder when he was wide open and should have been an easy throw to the inside instead of a difficult over the shoulder catch on his outside shoulder. Does it mean Mack is good. No, it means Allen still made a poor throw on what should have been an easy lob for a walk in TD. This was a terrible half by Allen, make no mistake about it.

Worst Allen game since his first start as a rookie

This. After Allen dismantled Vikings in his first road start as a rookie, I can’t think of a game since then where I felt anything was insurmountable for Allen. And down 14 with Texans starting with the ball actually feels insurmountable. And it is sad.

Allen was off on the throw and Mack adjusted poorly, it’s at least on both of them. He was so wide open, he could have lobbed that for a TD and he skied it to his outside shoulder for no reason.

Not to defend Hollins, but he’s doing more than Samuel and Say what you want, but Hollins has been getting open all day and Allen missed him on 2 easy TDs too
