  1. Literally none of this has anything to do with Worthy and the Bills. We clearly didn’t want Worthy…and if we don’t take him, Chiefs almost certainly still get him. You are just holding on to a non story because you have KC PTSD. In other words, in your mind the correct move was the Bills to take a player they didn’t want and wasn’t a good fit just so KC doesn’t get him basically. Because UNLESS we did that there was NOTHING else to insure the Chiefs didn’t draft Worthy. So again, who cares. Coleman has had one of the best camps of any rookie of any position in the league. But hey, keep fixating on a player we passed on who made no sense for the needs of our team that has already been hurt in camp and has already been utterly destroyed at the LOS by his own teammate rather than guy we took who has already put up one of the best camps in the league and scoring rave reviews from on lookers, staff, media, and players.
  2. Why though? It’s dumb, Worthy never at any point in any reality made any sense of any kind for the Buffalo Bills. There is no rational reason he should have been our pick. In KC, they had Hollywood Brown and Rice as well as Kelce. He gets to go there as a skinny twig who only needs to be a complimentary piece, not a WR1 where he faces a high chance to struggle as a WR1 as he is gonna get destroyed by press coverage. Bills needed both a WR1 and more size in our WR room. Only people who thought the Bills should take Worthy are the people who think the 40 times are the holy grail of WR evaluation…the same 40 time he manipulated to put up that time by cutting even more weight just to try and break a record at the underwear Olympics but is not the real speed he will play at in the NFL.
  3. LMAO…21 pages about a KC Chief rookie…isn’t this supposed to be a Bills board? In all seriousness, who cares at this point about Worthy? What is even sillier is Keon has had by far the more impressive camp this far and it’s not even close. This is like “Wrong Josh” all over again where people just can’t let go Bills drafted someone different than they wanted.
  4. Puts him starting early in real doubt, which is fine and expected anyway
  5. Ok but the analogy was the least important part of my comment… point was it’s early.
  6. Way too early…I mean Nathan Peterman was chosen to start over Allen in camp.
  7. You want to take our best CB, which is our thinnest position maybe on the roster, and move him to S? No disrespect, but that is a hard pass for me
  8. Top `10 is a lock to be all QB's Top 3 would for sure be: 1 - Mahomes 2 - Allen 3 - Stroud Then it gets more eye of the beholder after that but I think the next group of 4 would be a lock to be these guys 4 - Burrow 5 - Herbert 6 - Lamar 7 - Love Then the next 3 to round out the top 10 would likely be: 8 - Caleb 9 - Dak 10 - Goff/Tua/Trevor/Richardson
  9. Hill is not a good comp, Hill is a tank and very strong, he is just short. Worthy is a stick figure, they are not at all the same players or frames. The only similarity is they both run fast, but it stops there.
  10. I haven't heard any of that and in fact lots of references of him beating guys all camp. So not sure where you are hearing that because none of the people attending camp reporting on it have mentioned he is struggling with anything.
  11. LOL...Keon has been the star of camp with highlights coming out pretty much everyday. Yet we got some people who have been down on Keon not discussing any of those plays but instead wanting to argue about one maybe being out of bounds? Ok And who cares anyway? It was still an impressive clip showcasing his ability to go get the ball and control it through the ground, if he was out of bounds then its more on where Allen put the ball than Keon anyway. But hey...if nit picking this one play amongst a reel of highlights makes you feel better about pessimistic views, then do your thang
  12. I know die hard Lions fans here in LA who still call him "Goof" instead of Goff. Its crazy to me...and for them to list him as a "miss" is just as absurd as some random exec calling Allen "overrated".
  13. Bills have not lost by more than 6 points in their past 40 games, which is now an NFL record and counting. I just thought that was pretty impressive as I wouldn't have thought that. For as much flak as Allen and especially McD can get sometimes, they both win a lot of games and when they don't they are still right there in the game. But I didn't post this to debate the merits of Allen or McD (as I am sure this will trigger some McD people lol) or anything...when I saw it made me just appreciate more what a difference it is now compared to the dark years where games were often looking bleak or out of reach by halftime. And I think some of that just gets lost in all the bickering and arguing over trivial things around here sometimes. And it is yet another reason that despite a lot of changes on both sides of the ball, there is still reason for us to be the favorites in the East and room for optimism around here. #GOBILLS
  14. Anyone watch this past weeks episode? There is a scene where they are contemplating what to do in the draft...move up for a QB or not. And in this clip, they looked at all the first round QB's over the past 10 years drafted to determine how many were a "hit or miss". Couple interesting things came from that...they had Goff as a miss while they had Daniel Jones and Kyler Murray as "hits" LMAO. Goff has played in a SB and multiple Championship games and been a lot better QB than either of those 2 guys for one. Second interesting thing was after they looked at all the first round QB's that "hit or missed" the past 10 years, they said to that list "Not a lot hit". So then the GM asks Daboll "What do you take from that Dabs?" and Dabs seems to think he asked "Who" he would take from that list...and he says "Stroud". Then someone else in the room off camera (as camera was still on Daboll) says "or Josh". Daboll didn't react to it, but to be fair, they quickly cut to a new scene at that point too. Just found this clip interesting...how they can label Goff a "miss" just was stunning. I mean I am not saying Goff is top 5...but he is far from a "miss". Then Daboll throwing out Stroud over both Mahomes and Josh was another little surprise. This is the same team that gave Daniel Jones a bunch of money though lol, so guess I shouldn't be too surprised
  15. I remember when so many people kept arguing with me that both the Giants and Broncos were "going to take a QB" when it was clear as day leading up to the draft Giants were taking Saquan and Broncos were not taking a QB and were instead all in on Chubb trying to replicate what they had that last season they won a SB with Manning where Manning was the 31st ranked QB in the NFL that year but their D and Run game carried them to a SB. They had just signed Keenum to be that game manager stable guy while they tried to elevate their very good D to elite with Chubb. Now...that just goes to show you how STUPID both the Giants and Broncos were because despite it being fairly obvious neither were taking a QB ahead of the draft, people still thought there was no way they would not take a QB...because they SHOULD have been thinking QB in what was being seen as one of the best QB drafts in the past decade at that point. While I was supremely confident both were going Saquan and Chubb...it was still mind numbingly stupid to not go QB for both of those teams.
  16. I loved the pick as I had him as my 3rd best RB in the whole draft. Love his game...however, saying he is the most sure bet to be a meaningful contributor from this class completely overlooks how impressive Keon has been and considering Keon is on a clear path to starting and playing more snaps. Again, LOVE Davis, but Keon IMHO wil more likely be a bigger rookie contributor year 1 as Davis splits time with Cook.
  17. Actually...Beane, McD, Allen, and Brady have all talked up praise on him without being prompted. In fact, that is why a reporter probably asked Brady about Shavers because its been the team talking about him a lot that got the media interested enough to even ask questions.
  18. At least your acknowledging the extreme and inaccurate language you were using yesterday now, which is a start. But now we have this signing...which has literally zero to do with Bishop or how they feel Bishop is progressing. A safety got hurt at camp, so they signed one to have another camp body until Edwards gets back. This literally happens every single year...injury in camp, if they are short on bodies they bring someone in for the interim. He has a long road to make the roster over Rapp, Bishop, Edwards, and Hamlin unless one of them just bombs in camp or gets a more serious injury. To assume or pretend this signing has anything to do with Bishop, his development, or progress is just completely inaccurate and would be an example of confirmation bias. In fact, Bishop is getting snaps with the first unit because they like where he is at. Other rookies, guys like Sedrick who a lot of people felt could mix into battling to start week 1 at C is still running mostly with the 3rd group. They don't give rookies time with the 1's unless they feel they deserve and are ready for those reps because they are legitimately competing. So you gotta get off this narrative that Bishop is behind, a bust, or in danger of being one just because they have not decided the Safety battle a week into camp.
  19. I think saying they have concerns is reading too much into it...this feels more like a temporary replacement while Edwards is out to have another body for camp and likely won't make the active 53 as the 4 S they will go into the season with are Bishop, Rapp, Edwards, and Hamlin most likely.
  20. Me personally, I always felt Hollins was going to have a bigger role than people thought. I saw him play a lot when he was a Raider and he is a legit WR...but it is all the dirty work he is so good at and wants to do that made me feel he was going to play a bigger role than people think. The kind of role that doesn't always show up on the score board either. Ability to block as a WR is important on this team and it is the one void left by Davis that needed to be filled. And of course there is his ST abilities too. I personally thought MVS was a guy who would be fringe to make this team, his inconsistent hands was never something I saw sticking here. I just thought it would be Claypool that would make him expendable, didn't expect that to be Shavers...who is actually making both MVS and Claypools paths to the roster harder.
  21. This is also true...and always true TBH...however, the things that makes the buzz on Tyrell stand out as more interesting is 2 fold: It isn't so much camp reports, he is getting specifically mentioned and praised by Beane, the coaches, and Allen. And they are backing that up by giving him snaps with the first unit even though we have no injuries to open up those reps. He is getting them because they feel he has earned him. That is a big sign of his stock rising because while every camp someone makes some plays or gets some observer buzz, its not very often that person is going on to see first team reps, often not even 2nd team reps.
  22. No he hasn't. Why do people just say stuff. In his 4 playoff years totaling 11 games played, he averages 2.18 rec per game. Has he had a couple big catches sure, but so did David Tyree and he didn't make his Super Bowl winning teams roster the next year either...just like MVS. But to say he has been a "very good" playoff performer as if 2.18 rec per game cements him as our WR4 is just over the top. He has had Rodgers and Mahomes...both teams moved on...never broke out for either team, literally lost KC games last year with drops. Hollins has a firm grasp on WR4 right now...MVS and Claypool can still battle him for a role in this team, but it will not be easy to overtake Hollins right now. And quite frankly Tyrell has impressed the coaches all offseason and his bid for the 53 is a legit possibility too right now and is now a threat to both MVS and Claypools bids for a roster spot.
  23. I will forever never understand how anyone can let a QB who has off field lingering issues still who needs to find a new team to play for convince them to give him a 100% guarantee contract. Not only does this look beyond stupid today, it was beyond stupid the moment the news broke. No player should ever get 100% guarantee contract, let alone a guy who is a total POS off the field.
  24. Still incorrect. He has not beaten anyone out, why you insist on doubling and tripling down on this is confusing. Do you seem to think a rookie is defaulted the starting job upon being drafted? And therefore if he does not reflect that starting role on day 1 of camp then he has somehow "lost" his job and has been "beaten" out and must "regain" his job during camp? Because that is exactly what you are describing and its incorrect if so. But hey, phrase however you want for yourself, no biggie. But literally neither Hamlin, Edwards, or Bishop have beaten anyone out nor have they lost anything to anyone. It is an open competition and they are all getting reps with the 1's to see who makes a claim to be the starter as camp and preseason continues. Hamlin started getting reps with the 1's most likely because he was the only one who knew the defense too...he has excelled with those reps and become part of the mix in competition, but he hasn't beaten anyone out at all. And in fact, 2 or maybe even all 3 will likely see time with the 1's in the preseason. More importantly, there is no reason for McD to even rush Bishop into a starting role come week 1 given someone like Edwards, Hamlin, or maybe even Hyde (door is not closed on a final season return for him if he clears medicals) can open the season until Bishop gets more time to master the system given the importance of the S role in McD's defense. So I would not even panic if he isn't starting week 1, in fact, I don't expect him to and think its more likely he is in for specific packages and as the season goes on he will potentially be in position to take over the starting role if he shows he is ready.
