  1. Of all the bad challenges this might be the dumbest
  2. What exactly are we challenging? Nothing even looked questionable
  3. Can we just kick the XP from 50 out instead? Bass can’t hit these shorter ones lol
  4. Ok couldn’t have started this game any better! Let’s keep it going D
  5. Finally Samuel doing what we expected when we signed him
  6. Cooper doesn’t look like has a cast on either, which is great!
  7. Shakir is so explosive after the catch
  8. Hack job? You mean accurate accounting. I am happy he is here. I was happy we made the trade. But if you think he doesn’t drop a lot of passes then you don’t know anything about him. I would rather see them get him fully healthy for the post season than rush him out there in a cast.
  9. So the guy with a history of drops and who currently leads the NFL in drops despite 2 missed games that also dropped his first pass as a Bill then bobbled his 2nd pass almost dropping an easy TD is going to play with a cast? Not sure how I feel about this...glad he is at least on the field, but would be lying if I said it wasn't a concern
  10. Yeah, I think you are over reading or over analyzing things. Mahomes reached out to Josh after that and cleared the air too.
  11. This is a much more fair accounting of him than the post of yours I responded to, so kudos on that. And I agree with what his role is and should be. However, I still am going to push back some on the correlation you are making about Allens worst game and Hollins targets. Allen played poorly and missed throws, opportunities, etc all over the field in Houston and some against Indy. These were things Allen was doing poorly, not that Allen had no help or no one to throw to. I love Allen as much or more than anyone. Anytime he is on my TV or phone my wife says "hide your b***r" lol...but Allen gets to own his poor play too. Allen was the worst player on the field against Houston offensively for a large part of that game, he was considerably off. And his going rogue on the final drive when he had open guys underneath is a huge reason why we still lost that game. Against Indy, he made some poor choices, missed open receivers on throws or just didn't see them, etc. It was Allen who made those mistakes and left a lot on the field. Had Allen been playing his tail off and guys like Hollins were letting him down, I would totally support your correlation. But the facts were the mistakes were self imposed by Allen, and not because he didn't have options out there or open targets.
  12. To be fair, I didn't watch the game this past week. Although it was still a divisional game against a pretty solid defense. Hey, I hope we shut him down. I was just saying I don't think its wise to underestimate Hunt this week as we have not been good at stopping the run or defending short passes/screens either. And one thing we know is that KC has been effective against us at attacking our weak spots in the past.
  13. Come on...this is way over the top for you Happy. One, there is Coleman, Shakir, Kincaid, Cooper, Cook, Davis, Knox, even Samuel still on this team. To say that when Mack, essentially a 5th option or so, isn't being targeted is because he isn't getting open is ridiculous. Not to mention, he has gotten open more than many of you want to admit. And sorry, Mack had nothing to do with Allens bad games against Hou and Indy. The mistakes Allen made in those games were almost entirely on him, especially Houston which was easily the worst I have seen him play. And it was not because he didn't have options out there, he was making poor throws and poor decisions in both games, especially Houston. Against Houston, he was missing open receivers all game, both on throws and just not seeing them. Allen decisions on the final drive when he had multiple wide open guys underneath are a big reason why we lost that game in regulation too. Meanwhile, Hollins has been a key contributor in back to back wins now (as well as other wins this season) but this board still wants to just dump on him and look past those things. I mean the guy is like our 5th or 6th option essentially, yet there is this obsession on the board to make him the season long whipping boy and scape goat even when he does good things...doesn't make a lot of sense.
  14. I didn't say I was nervous...I said some of you are underestimating Hunt and what he is to that team. He has gone over 100 total yards in 3 of his 6 games and has 5 TD's...and that was before their passing game found some life with Hopkins.
  15. Yet - in 6 games, he has 2 over 100 yards (3 if you count total yards), and 5 TDs and is a good receiver out of the backfield. His lower ypc has been a bit due to their WR issues and injuries in the passing game. Still on pace for 1250 yards and 14 TDs. He is 7th in rushing yards over the 6 game stretch since KC signed him, and that was coming in during the season off the couch too. If you don't think Hunt poses a threat this week against our bottom of the league run defense, well thats fine, but you would be wrong.
  16. You are underestimating Hunt, he’s been a top 10 RB since rejoining the Chiefs. He runs hard and hits the holes clean.
  17. I know for a fact Josh missed him bad twice while running wide open downfield. Josh also missed a wide open Diggs many times last year deep too: Its not his strong suit
  18. Josh missed him by a lot at least twice deep. It’s not Josh’s strength.
  19. Unfortunately It’s not. Certain posters were saying last week they hope we don’t. That he’s not worth resigning.
  20. And to think there are posters here who DONT want to resign Shakir 😂
  21. You’re not watching him play, at least not closely, if you think this is all that is involved and Lamar isn’t playing at a higher level. First, let’s not forget the weapons around Lamar have been poor most of his career. Having better weapons helps make a QB better, you should know this better than anyone with all the posts you’ve made complaining Josh needs better weapons. Second, he is throwing with anticipation, ball is in the air before the receiver has even made or completed his break. He is throwing to spots, not just to wide open guys. His ability to throw with that anticipation was missing in his earlier years too, that alone is a significant improvement as a passer. And part of the reason guys are open is because of him throwing with anticipation before the break and before the defender has time to adjust. People like to give all the credit to the OC for “scheming” guys open, or all the credit to the WR for “getting open” or even saying the defense “didn’t cover them” etc…but a big part of that is a QB also throwing guys open. And that is definitely something Lamar has improved on. Do I think Allen is the better QB overall, yes, but the gap is much closer than people want to admit with Lamar. Especially considering Lamar has never had anything like Mahomes, Allen, and Burrow have had in terms of weapons to throw to in his career (and still doesn’t). I mean how much better could Lamar be with just one guy like a Hill, Chase, Diggs, etc? Now he has Flowers emerging, but he is still not at those guys level. Lamar is earning his MVP buzz this year even more than he did last year when he almost won it unanimously.
