Guess you missed the part where I twice said UDFA and LOW round draft picks. They did a whole thing this year about it on ESPN in the offseason where it was close to half the league and showing how important late draft picks and UDFA are even though the general incorrect assumption by fans is that they aren't as important. Just the UDFA alone listed in that article would represent nearly 30% of the NFL. I would say thats a pretty important piece of the NFL wouldn't you? And again in both my OP and reply I specifically stated low round picks and UDFA...not hard to imagine another 15 - 20% coming from late round picks given nearly 30% is from UDFA right? Sorry, my original statement is fact, and not made up. You did accuse me of blindly making it up even though you clearly had no idea if it was true or not. As far as the PS stuff, yeah we can agree to disagree. I stand by the fact its foolish to dismiss PS players and just blindly assume they dont have something to offer if given the chance on the active 53, maybe even more so than someone currently on the active 53.

Hence why I said it does not mean Zay is going anywhere, they already have a roster spot open to activate Duke if they want. I would be willing to bet they will hold that spot open until Allen is cleared or not so they know if they need it or not for Webb. Allen plays, I think good shot Duke is activated. If not, no chance and it will be Webb.

None of us really know what Duke will or wont do on the field in a real NFL game. But when the receivers behind Brown and Cole COMBINE for 10 rec, 118 yards in 4 games then the excitement of what MIGHT be with Duke is just too hard to resist. I have no idea how good he will be personally, but when I see him in preseason, practice, his CFL tape, etc...I cant help but see a guy who plays with tenacity and hunger...and last I checked, this team, especially the offense, seems like it could get a real boost from a spark like that if he can at least bring that to Sundays. Can't wait to see what he can do...good or bad, at least we will finally know.

He’s been getting a lot of work in with Josh though, so I don’t think he would be if they weren’t prepping him or at least testing how ready he is. Also been working on ST which a reporter said was something new with him. So yeah, I think he’s coming this week or next personally.

McD did vocalize his frustration multiple times in press conferences this week about receivers not trying to help the QB out and break up the INTs. So safe to say they are at least a little frustrated considering it was Zay he is talking about. But any more than that is fan speculation for the most part. Although lots of buzz on twitter that Duke is going to be activated soon, even video of him working with Allen and on ST. Doesn’t mean Zay is going anywhere, but certainly seems possible Duke could be activated soon and may come down to if Josh is officially cleared or not as they would need to activate Webb if not. Also multiple sources on twitter claim Zay is on trade block. Just rumors, but some buzz on it

Agree, Josh best ball is that 10-25 yard strike. It’s not been his deep touch at least so far. Diggs excels in that 10-25 yard range IMO, so while I am skeptical we are trading for him or that he’s even gonna be traded, I am hopeful and think he would be a good fit.

Realistically, if Zay is really available for trade like the rumors seem to suggest, I think the team to watch is Cincinnati. And I’m not even talking about A.J. Green. Ross just went on IR and they are auditioning guys off the street. HC was with the Rams and saw what a change of scenery did for Woods, and we have dealt with Cincy before. Could be a spot I could really see making sense, regardless if A.J. Green was involved. Send Zay for a 6th that could become a 5th based on performance.

Foster didn’t play really unit he was activated off PS. Over those 7 games he outplayed Zay. He obviously isn’t doing anything this year, which is why i don’t care who has to go to make room for Duke, just get him active.

No it is a fact, and was covered on ESPN. You just made up off the top of your head that it isn’t true. Maybe do some research before accusing someone of making something up? Second, players are on PS because there is something to the coaches are still working on with them or there isn’t a roster spot yet for them. Duke is on PS primarily because he had no ST experience and they kept McKenzie because no other WRs had any ST value outside of Roberts and the WR they needed HAD to be able to also play ST. Brown and Cole will never play ST. Zay and Foster has never played ST either. Additionally, Duke has to adjust to the NFL game still and work on relearning how to get off the line as the CFL is totally different. Just because hes on PS does not mean he isnt as good or better than someone on the active roster. It means he may not have been ready on what they wanted to work on with him, but doesn’t mean he is a worse player.

This is just not accurate. Foster was better than Zay last year after he was brought up mid season from PS. Once Foster came up, he grossly outplayed and out produced Zay. Putting up over 200 more yards than Zay over that 7 week stretch, including three 100 games, something Zay has yet to do in 35 career games. Some of you people really do not understand PS players at all and make these inaccurate boasts that being on the PS means you “aren’t as good” as someone not on the PS. Many of you make these inaccurate claims too with late round picks and UDFAs too saying “if they were so good they would have been drafted or drafted sooner” even though half the NFL is made up of late round and UDFA players.

I just called and a spoke to a girl and asked if Diggs was there today. She said “No he’s not, just a rumor”. So...receipt shows it would have been about 8 hours ago when he was there though, and she said “No he’s not here”. So maybe she doesn’t know he was there at lunch and thinks people are asking if he is there now. But so far, we can’t verify this link to the restaurant and Diggs. Receipt could be faked, but maybe someone else try calling and make sure it’s clear your asking about lunch time.
