  1. Some of us have been saying it since February
  2. Called this in February. SLAMS MIC DOWN. *I hurt my shoulder slamming the mic so hard*
  3. All good, and nothing wrong with not being sold on an unproven player. Sounds like weather isn't going to be good and raining, so he could be just what they need today and could be a lot of short passing to a big guy with sure hands. So wouldn’t surprise me if he has a low ypc average today either, but all that matters is he helps move chains and is of value in short yardage and Redzone packages as we need someone to help Josh out in those areas. I also think Yeldon could see some extra work as a receiving option today too, and should.
  4. No. There is a big difference running routes from the line having to beat press coverage and a DB covering you closely than it is to release out of the backfield and catch passes in open space and having to beat a LB in coverage.
  5. He ran precise routes and got open in preseason too. Thats not really a fair assessment. They basically used him in short yardage situations on only a handful of targets in preseason. They’ve been showing him running way more mid range and downfield routes in practice since too.
  6. Foster is hurt and inactive, so that’s not really a ground breaking prediction. My prediction is that your other predictions are wrong.
  7. It wasn’t a forward pass. People need to move on. And I agree with OP, we weren’t winning another game that year even if we won that game. We were not a great football team. I was screaming at the TV to cover the other side of the field as you could totally see it developing, but nope, we lost it because basically most our entire ST ran to one side of the field. That being said, I hope we crush them today.
  8. We can easily afford Miller, his contract is up 2021 meaning we will have it off the books before Allen is due money (assuming Allen continues to grow into a player we need to give a big new contract). Get er done Beane
  9. He definitely spent time catching passes from Allen, and I posted some videos this week showing it. None of us know how much run get got with the ones, but he did get some for sure.
  10. Dukes stat line prediction vs the Titans: 17 rec, 241 yards, 5 TD’s Josh Allen stat line prediction vs the Titans. 17-23, 241 yards, 5 TD’s
  11. YESSSSSSSSSSS! Dukes earned it Yes, but only because my 43 year old, 6’4”, 290 pound body just played 9 games of full court street basketball at the park for almost 4 hours. But my nipples did firm up quite a bit when I saw this news.
  12. How does a fake tweet from a twitter account with 200 followers have a 2 page thread?
  13. Duke Williams is my guess now that Josh cleared protocol.
  14. For me, Manning is easily an all time great, but he also is over rated a bit within those all time rankings because he wasn't as good in the post season as he was in the regular season. 9 times with the Colts he was the #1 seed in the AFC and didn't win a playoff game...thats an NFL record by the way. He had the greatest offense in NFL history with the Broncos and got blown out by a defensive and run oriented Seahawk team in the Super Bowl too. I have long stated the following: Brady > Manning Warner > Manning I would take Kurt Warner in a heartbeat over Peyton Manning in the playoffs. Peyton Manning was king of the regular season and a then not as good in the post season (see A-Rod in MLB) while Kurt Warner not only was a stud and HOF level QB during the regular season, but he was hands down one of the best ever in the Post Season.
  15. Thanks...yeah, thats why I said they were basically even. Man, the first 9 weeks cant really say anyone was "good" really, the whole offense was a mess. I mean sadly, the best receiving day during that time was by McCoy with 82 yards. Best receiving day by a WR was KB with 71 yards. But for last year, its really only Foster I am referencing when saying each year he has seen another WR out play him. Year 1, Thompson did too in 4 less games despite Zay starting all year. This year, obviously Brown and Cole are (and even Yeldon for that matter).
  16. Fair enough on the QB comment, thats true. But I think they have been too weak on the right side and a bit inconsistent. Hard for me to say where I would rank them without fully evaluating other teams. Im only disagreeing with being second best. I wouldn't have had an issue if they said like 10th or something. Im also not sweating the OL, they have 4 new guys, a rookie, some guys getting dinged up, etc. I feel like they will get better as the season goes on.
  17. Again, I am not saying they are bottom of the league. Said they are much better than what we have had. But they are also not worthy of a top tier ranking IMO. For instance, think of the top 3 QB's in the league...then look at the guys ranked say 9th or so. There is a big difference even though the ranks are not that far apart. Ranking us as #2 best pass protection would tell me its a major strength and near elite if being ranked so close to someone like Dallas. I do not believe our pass protection has been elite.
  18. To be honest, I thought it was going to be higher than that given the amount of times Allen is dodging and weaving with his legs back there too. So that was actually pretty solid considering how much he uses his legs.
  19. Im not saying the OL is bad, its a lot better than we had. I am saying they have not been at the level of 2nd best pass blocking in the league narrowly behind Dallas. The right side of the line has been wildly inconsistent and a mess at times. Again, by no means am I claiming they are terrible at pass protection, but just watching the games there is no way they are the 2nd best unit in football so far at it.
  20. They are certainly better than the last few years...by a good margin. So you are definitely right about that. #2 though? The article claims second only to Dallas. IMO, not a chance, not the way the right side has been a mess.
  21. Fair question...and I can easily explain...before I do, want to make it clear, all our guys sucked in weeks 1-9...but lets still look at productivity. Weeks 1-9 (pre Barkely, pre Josh return, and pre Fosters return). KB led team in receiving 3 times. McCoy and Zay tied for leading team in receiving twice, however one week Zay led the team with just 26 yards...so big deal and McCoy combined for more yards than Zay did. KB - 302 yards, 1 TD Zay Jones - 299 yards, 1 TD So Zay wasn't even our most productive receiver before Foster came into the mix in week 10. Dont get me wrong, KB sucked major balls, by no means am I saying he was good...but as bad as KB was, Zay still didn't our produce him as they were basically even. Weeks 10 - 17 This isn't even a mystery...Foster clearly out produced him during this stretch by putting up 511 yards including three 100 yard games. Zay put up 353 yards during that stretch. Now Zay did out produce Foster in TD's, but he got one TD on the last play of a 3 score blow out against the Pats and double dipped on the Dolphins twice. However, Zay also helped us lose the Miami game when he failed to hold on to the pass that would have had us in the Redzone just before the famous long pass Clay drop. The only reason Zay "led" the team was only because the other receivers did not play a full season. Its not an apples to apples situation. Zay started 15 games. Foster was active for 13, but he really only played in 7 and only had 3 targets prior to coming back from PS. So despite starting 15 games, Zay still only finished ahead of Foster by 109 yards despite the fact that all but 3 of Fosters targets came in the final 7 games once being brought back up. So, there was not any period of time last year where Zay was the most productive WR...he gets the nod on TOTALS only because he started more games than anyone.
  22. I am a football junkie...so I watch more than you might think...but obviously not watching all 31 other teams as close as Bills. But I don't need to watch the other teams to know if the Bills line is playing well or not. There is not a chance in hell I would rank the Bills OL pass blocking as second best and narrowly behind #1 Dallas. Right side of the line has been a mess, and I would heavily argue our run blocking has been superior to our pass blocking by a decent margin.
