  1. Phenomenal. Just phenomenal. Well done Dion! LFG!!!!!!!!!!
  2. I dont understand how anyone can accurately say either Allen or Rodgers is more important to their team. They are equally important on pass heavy offenses. Both teams would be devastated if both got knocked out for the season week 1. And actually, if that happened, Bills likely have a better record than Packers given we have a better overall roster. So if you wanted to split hairs, I think Rodgers means more to Packers given their overall roster isn’t as good as ours. But end of the day, neither team is likely a playoff team without their respective starting QB and are really equally as important to their teams.
  3. IMHO opinion, this should be the MVP finish: 1 - Rodgers 2 - Allen 3 - Henry 4 - Mahomes 5 - Adams Diggs and Kamara (honorable mentions essentially)
  4. A fellow TSW poster bet me $100 he would not be a 60% passer or better before the season began. He honorably reached out to me a few days ago and paid me without me even asking him about it yet. Classy move @TwistofFate, very classy move. Mad respect to him as a poster for honoring his bet. And I know he much preferred to lose that bet since it meant Allen was having a great season. If anyone is about to enter into a friendly wager with him in the future, I can vouch for him having the integrity to bet with. Cheers sir
  5. Only QB to pass for 4500+ yards, 35+ TDs and 5+ rushing TDs in a single season in NFL history
  6. I have had hot and cold moments with BD over his time here in Buffalo, including times early in the season. But I will say this, once Josh Allen got healthy again and took that shoulder brace off until now, Daboll has been sensational. There were times early in the season where I got frustrated with Daboll's decisions, but ultimately once this team got healthy and fully gelled, Daboll has really just been sensational. I really do want him back, and I do think there is still a legit chance he could still be back. He seems to truly love Buffalo and he clearly loves Allen like a son, he has said so himself. Everyone assumed McDaniels would bolt for all these jobs he had shots at too and decided to stay in NE longer rather than go back into a HC gig. Daboll has been around a lot of good coaches who went to HC and bombed and lost their jobs. He has a really good thing here in Buffalo, both him and his family seem to truly love being here. And while I have no doubt he will eventually take a HC gig, I am not so sure he is ready to leave just yet unless it was the perfect job. The only two openings I can see even really being appealing to him would be Chargers and Jags strictly on the fact that Herbert is in place and Jags will get Trevor. But overall, Jags have sucked as an organization, so he may not be interested in going to a poorly run organization with a marginal fan base and roster. Hope he stays, wont be surprised if he leaves for a HC job, but also don't think its a sure thing. I will say this...if Bills win the SB, then I think its more probable he leaves, and if they dont get the SB this year, I think it increases the chances he could come back for another run for it next year.
  7. I’m a fan of divisional rivalries. Picking one of the worst franchises in the league as an example in the Jets doesn’t really paint the true value of rivalries. AFC West, AFC North, NFC East, NFC West, NFC North etc all have long historical rivalries for example. We used to have them in the AFC East but that was squashed by Pats dominance while rest of division stayed mediocre or worse. So I don’t get why people want to get rid of divisions, nothing wrong with how it’s set up now IMHO.
  8. I disagree. Everyone has the same task to start the season. Win your division. I would make the case that because you have a better record than another division winner doesn't make you automatically more deserving IMO. Strength of schedules, injuries, strength of division, etc all make that an impossible thing to measure accurately (who is more deserving or the better team). Im fine with the rule, win your division and you are in. Divisions create rivalries too which make the game better IMO too.
  9. Not sure what you mean by that... I was saying if a 7-9 team can enter the playoffs and beat a winning team, then that seals the case that they should be allowed in if they win their division. Your reply sounds like its agreeing with me even though you wrote "Not me." to open it, but cant tell. Either way, its a silly discussion, if you win your division you should be in IMO. I mean there are so many potential circumstances around that division winner possibly being only 7-9. Maybe a slew of injuries to critical players early in the season caused them to start slow. Its just to subjective to just flat out say no one under .500 should be allowed in. You win your division, you earn a playoff birth. And given the fact not that long ago a 7-9 team went into the playoffs and beat the Saints in the first round shows that they shouldn't just flat out be banned from the playoffs.
  10. 7-9 Seahawks beat the Saints in the first round of the playoffs. That pretty much puts a nail in this argument for me.
  11. How many "Bring back Fitz" threads are needed in a season. Every time Miami gets a win with Fitz, or Fitz has a good game people start this thread.
  12. That was one of the best interviews I have ever seen a professional athlete give. I wish I could give it a 1000 awesome emoticons.
  13. Houston? Well yeah, thats certainly an example...But how about San Diego, Atlanta, New Orleans, Green Bay, etc etc. There were many years that the Saints couldn't even make the playoffs while Brees was throwing for 5000 yards. Green Bay has had arguably the most talented QB of his generation and had many meh or disappointing seasons. San Deigo had a likely future HOF QB too piling up stats and missing the playoffs. Of course, you mentioned the Lions too with Stafford. Atlanta has struggled to even make the playoffs for half of Ryans career despite gaudy stats. Its been proven many times throughout NFL history, that high quality to elite QB isn't enough and rarely carries a team to the top without having at least a solid to good team around them. In fact, I would argue that there are more cases of average or worse QB's winning Super Bowls with good to great teams around them than there are elite QB's winning SB's with average or worse rosters around them.
  14. Agreed, feel like he has been the most consistent player all season. Again, Tre and Edmunds are great, especially this second half the season. But Poyer is also great and has been the whole season.
  15. Honestly, behind Allen and Diggs, I think Poyer was the third most deserving Bills player for the Pro Bowl this year. Not to knock Tre and Edmunds or say they didn't also deserve it, but Poyer to me had an even bigger case for the Pro Bowl and been one of the most consistent players on defense this year. Again, this isnt about Tre and Edmunds, its awesome they were selected again and no issue with that. But to me, as good as those guys are, Poyer was even better and its a travesty he wasn't also selected as well. To be clear, not saying he should have gotten one of their spots, just saying, he earned his birth with them too. Poyer stats: 9th in the NFL in total tackles (Leads ALL safeties in the NFL) 5th in the NFL in solo tackles (Leads ALL safeties in the NFL) Has 2 INT, 2 Sacks, and 2 FF. Also, was the top vote getter for his position in the AFC. How this man was snubbed for the Pro Bowl is beyond me. And something tells me Poyer is going to be extra motivated to rest of season and playoffs and will be playing with a chip on his shoulder.
  16. 👏👏👏 Looks great! More importantly thank you for all you do for this community. Have a safe and happy holiday season!!! GO BILLS!!!
  17. Stephen has been complimentary to him, just isn’t going to anoint him over part of a regular season the way people did Wentz. He just wants to see him have success in playoffs and sustained success before he officially gives him that elite status. But he does admit he’s playing at elite levels now. I don’t see anything wrong with that take at all. Nick, Keyshawn and Skip are all still stupidly doubters and haters.
  18. Ah just read the crazy scenario online, didn’t realize that would be the case. My bad, thanks for clarity. Obviously we are not going to be the number 1 seed, but now I see why your post was laid all that out.
  19. Im not really interested in Minshew, I think the real Uncle Rico is more appealing personally. Minshwer is Fitzpatrick without the talent...and Fitzpatrick is Farve without the talent. So you are basically saying you want a very poor mans version of a poor mans Farve on the roster. This is not the way. Im all for competition to Barkley, but I think Fromm should get a chance before we start making trades for guys.
  20. Yeah, I mean they had the video ready, Nick even said he hopes they could show it for this "bit". So yeah was all pre planned ahead of time and agreed to before going on air. But Nick Wright is a joke. He is basically just a clown trying to emulate Skip Bayless kind of loud shock statements to get a career.
  21. This was sick...After JuJu danced on the Bills logo...Josh had this to say to the team. Every time I think I cant love Josh more than I already do he goes and ups the ante! LFG!
  22. NOTE: I agree maybe my initial response sounded too snarky, so I went back and edited it. I like the OP @Beerball overall and didn’t mean it to sound snarky. I just feel like there are plenty of times where Beane doesn’t get enough credit or McD doesn’t get enough credit. I mean people were talking about firing McD and/or Beane multiple times this year after a loss, even the AZ loss. So when I saw this poll my reaction was more about they both deserve the credit as they were each critical to getting us to where we are today.
