Did Sean go too far calling out Mckenzie?
Alphadawg7 replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe he been struggling in practice too with fumbles or decision making. Just seems like McD comments strongly suggest it was more than a fumble. -
Clock error cost the Bills 27 seconds at the end of the game

Yes the OP is wrong -
We had multiple screens blown up last night for losses or no to short gains.

Did Sean go too far calling out Mckenzie?

Has anyone stopped to think that maybe its more than just the fumble with the Colts game? For all we know, McKenzie might have been making mistakes in practice and muffing balls. Also sounds like its more than just a fumble, he said "good decisions", so could be McKenzie has made some poor decisions in regards of when to return or not to return. I have a feeling he is mad at McKenzie for more than the fumble. -
To name a couple of my faves: Phillips’s and also Coles, both in Downtown LA to name a couple. Both places claim to have created the French Dip actually. To give perspective…if I ranked them a 10 then the beef on Weck we had at Bar-Bill would probably be about a 6. Not trying to be a downer, we loved everywhere we ate in Buffalo, just the beef on Weck didn’t like up to the hype for us. I was expecting one of the best roast beef sandwiches we had, and it just wasn’t anything special. Another fave of mine is my local dive bar in my beach community called MO’s. Funny story, the owner Mo is who “Moe” from the Simpsons is based on. Also same place they filmed the first Sharknado haha although it being waterfront was CGI, it’s actually like 200 feet from the ocean. Honestly…Beef had no flavor. Not bad, just forgettable. Star of a roast beef sandwich should be the beef IMHO.

Elmo’s was our favorite when we were there week 1. Our list of wing stops was Bar-Bill, Elmo’s, Duff’s, and Anchor Bar. Elmo’s won. For an unpopular opinion: Buffalo does NOT have the best roast beef sandwiches, nor is it even close. Beef on Weck is meh, pretty bland and boring. We were a bit surprised and disappointed at how over hyped it was and honestly probably would not order again when back in Buffalo over other many delicious options there like wings, pizza, etc. And for the record, we love roast beef sandwiches, but even though we allegedly had one of the best at Bar-Bill, we just found it to be a let down. Buffalo had the best wings for sure, and a lot of other delicious food. However, the Beef on Weck would be like a 4 or 5 out of ten compared to many places here serving Roast Beef sandwiches that are 9’s and 10’s all day long.

Oh I agree...just was letting the OP know there is someone who does it he can take a look at

Kevin Kelley pretty much never punts, always goes for it on 4th down and won 9 Arkansas State Championships in 18 years. He also frequently onside kicks too. https://www.si.com/college/2021/05/21/kevin-kelley-high-school-never-punts-presbyterian

Why isnt Mahomes an MVP candidate? There are still several games left and Chiefs and Mahomes seem to be heating up and his stats are on par with all other candidates. Mahomes may not be the favorite today in terms of betting odds, but hes very much capable of still winning the MVP this year. There is no one with any kind of sizable lead on him. Allens place in the MVP race will be largely determined by this next game against the Pats and the Bucs game against the other top candidate in Brady. Allen wins both those games, he will start to pull away from Brady. However, if KC and Chiefs offense can keep rolling and they stack wins, Mahomes will still be in that convo himself.

Poll: Guess # of drive-extending flags Patsies will get?
Alphadawg7 replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think this could be a factor. Not because the refs want to help the Pats though, but because we have done this to ourselves in way too many games this year. On both sides of the ball though. We kill drives and take points off the board with stupid things like false starts and holding as much or more as we give opponents more chances to score on defense by negating a 3rd down stop with dumb penalties. While some of those on both sides were atrocious calls by the refs, most were self inflicted. Bills being good is good for the NFL. They love the positive image of the Bills, it’s fans, Josh Allen, etc. I don’t believe for one second there will be a conspiracy biased to help the Pats beat the Bills from the Refs or NFL. Josh Allen is one of the most likable and marketable players to enter the NFL in years from an image side of things. They aren’t conspiring against him or the Bills. Except Wallace has played great this year. I have no clue where all this Wallace negativity comes from. It’s like none of you actually watch him play. -
Dude you are just being foolish now. So one data set INCLUDES 6 more games that IMPROVED Josh season end numbers...and the other does NOT. So you want to compare 11 games to 16 games instead of comparing where Josh was at the SAME time last year? You clearly do not understand statistical analysis to even the slightest. Or you do, and just want to cherry pick things that don't make sense because doing a FAIR and ACCURATE analysis doesn't prove your biased. You are literally the definition of confirmation bias. Where you search for data to support your biased view...and when its not there, you search for different data until you find something you hang your hat on. Bottom line, Josh is on par with last year through 11 games. Nothing you can say can change those FACTS.

Yeah I agree. IMHO I think we will decisively beat the Pats. Mac Jones isn’t playing as great as the media and people are making it out to be. He is just playing well enough to help them beat bad teams. He’s not going off for 300 yards and 3 TDs. But they have been playing teams mostly in a rut or who are bad and struggling to score. So he hasn’t had to do a lot for them to win those 6 games. The defense has been playing very good though for them, but again, they haven’t been tested I these 6 games by an offense like ours either. So I think it’s a bit like how dominant our D looked against lower competition earlier this year. My expectation is we will put up somewhere between 24 and 38 points while the Pats score somewhere between 9 and 20 points. Especially since we are getting Star, Spencer and Feliciano back this week. OL and run D should see a decent upgrade this week.

This is why it’s impossible for anyone to ever take you seriously around here. You intentionally manipulate data to force an agenda all the time. It’s literally like your thing. THROUGH 11 GAMES…Josh is BETTER in more categories than he is worse compared to last years 11 games at this same time…INCLUDING TD%. YOU KNOW THIS because several people have sent you the data. Yet here you are still pushing this childish bulls**t response of comparing Josh through 11 games this year to Josh full season last year which is NOT how you compare because one of the data sets is INCOMPLETE. Literally why your posts like this are most often a waste of time. Sad part is, if you would stop being such a trollish child about things like this all the time, you might be a decent poster. PS: You don’t have to manipulate and skew data to communicate a thought or opinion. You should try it sometime.

I don’t disagree about the butt whooping , but the Colts are not as good as we made them look through our own faults. We ourselves are the sole reason the game got away from us in the first half. And it literally boiled down to five plays where we gave the game away that first half and start of second half with dumb penalties, free unforced fumble, or dropped wide open pass. Point was, the losses were more on us than being overmatched by our opponents. If we play the Colts 10 times with Star and Edmunds active, I guarantee we win more games than we lose.
-
Disagree. Pitt - We lost this game over a blocked punt. Or you can take any number of penalties that either took points off our board or gave points to Pitt. They weren't "built to stop us", we beat ourselves. We should have won that game. Tenn - Literally lost this game on Josh losing his footing on a sneak which he has converted at over 95% over his career. You can also point to a number of dumb penalties that either took points off our board or gave them points by extending drives too. Again, shot oursevles in the foot. Not that they were "built to beat us". We should have won that game. Jags - Our OL played its worst game I have ever seen probably in the McD era. But again, multiple times we had penalties or dumb mistakes shoot ourselves in the foot again. They weren't "built to beat us", we again beat ourselves. Colts - Missing our best run defender (Star) and captain of our defense (Edmunds) was already a tough start to this game. Still missing 2 starters on the OL also was a big problem. Yet, despite all that...the REAL difference in that game was once again self inflicted mistakes. Our first drive of the game we moved the ball at will. Then on 3rd and 2, Josh is easily going to pickup 10-20 yards on a run, but play blown dead due to false start. Next play...holding...suddenly its 3rd and 18 and outside FG range. Shot ourselves in the foot. We would then go on to get off the field on 3rd down on defense just to see us give them a free first down with a penalty flag...again, allowing them to eventually score points. Now we get the ball near end of half with us also getting ball to start second half...putting us in a spot where we could take the lead...instead McKenzie gives them a free TD with his self inflicted fumble. Still with 2 possessions in a row to end and start the halves...we again get 0 points thanks again to self inflicted issues like penalties and dropped passes. You see the theme here? We continuously beat ourselves in all 4 games. These teams weren't "built to beat us", we just too often committed fundamental mistakes that are 100% in our own control. Not to mention, some pretty bad officiating too. I would also note...in those 4 losses we were often missing key players like Star, Spencer, and Feliciano too...all of which had an impact on those games we lost.

He said in comments clearly he meant 2020 vs 2021 and chart shows 2020 vs 2021 No its not. He is literally better in 5 categories and slightly worse in 4. Not to mention, hes a better runner this year too. You just said he is worse in TD%, yet hes better. Its like you didnt even read it. And you said he was unequivocally less efficient, implying its a drastic change...when its not. He is barely lower in those areas, just like hes barely higher in others...so in other words, he is pretty on par with last year. Not drastically worse like you would like people to believe.
-
Except that is not statistically true. He is literally better in more categories than he is worse compared to last year. His comp % is down just 2 points, mostly from the first few weeks of the season and he has 2 more INTs. But he has more yards, more yards per game, more TD's, less sacks, better TD%, etc. And he is running better this year at a much better YPC too. Sorry, just venting about him doesn't make it true. Josh is pretty on par or better with last year through 11 games. The biggest difference in perception is the two bad games played by the WHOLE team against Jags and Colts being in everyones recent memories. The bigger truth is that our team has consistently shot itself in the foot too many times this year with dumb mistakes and penalties on both sides of the ball. Literally would have been undefeated going into the Colts game had we not killed ourselves against Pitt, Titans and Jags. Even the Colts game got out of hand because of our own mistakes.
-
Ranks are one thing...what are the actual stats is the better question. Ranks only are in relation to the other teams, doesn't actually show if we are running for more yards per game than last year or throwing for more yards per game, etc. I bring it up, because Josh passing stats are actually better in most categories this year compared to last year. Yet your "ranks" suggest we are producing less through the air. Josh has more passing yards and more passing TD's than he had last year at this time for instance and more passing yards per game. Hard disagree on this one.

Wilson blew it. He could have jogged it on for the 2 point to his left, it was wide open for him. Worse yet, he had DK wide open running along the back of end zone with his hand up. Triple down bad, he was late on the throw to swain or it also would have been complete. Wilson missed 3 easy chances on one play to convert that 2 point conversion.
