  1. 15 pages on how we are doomed we didn’t trade for an over 30 player who hasn’t had double digit sacks in 3 years. Maybe we should fire Beane immediately. Lol So TSW.
  2. Are there any actual rumors in this thread to read? 24 pages is a lot to go through to find out lol
  3. I am all for signing Engram to pair with Knox, would be a really challenging duo for defenses to cover
  4. It’s one year left in his deal, he’s the perfect change of scenery player as he comes off the books if it doesn’t work out.
  5. True for all great GMs. Bill Walsh, considered one of the GOATS. traded up for JJ Stokes and called him the next Jerry Rice. He also referred to Jim Drunkenmiller as the next Joe Montana. No GM bats a 1000. But Beane not only has grand slams, but he has drafted very well and found many starting players who are all key contributors. Allen, Oliver, Edmunds, Levi, Knox, Davis, Brown, Singletary, Rousseau, etc. He has also signed guys that went on to be important players for us all across the roster. Beane has had a lot more hits than misses and is widely considered one of top minds and GMs in football right now. Not to mention, he’s been a master at maximizing trade values, structuring contracts, etc.
  6. You do realized we were 10th in the NFL in sacks and 5th in QB pressures right? We also have 3 DE’s taken in the first 2 rounds of the last 2 drafts to get on the field more too. Our need here is being over exaggerated. I’m all for upgrades, don’t get me wrong, but people literally slamming Beane right now over not trading for Mack. And yes, Miller did fine for Rams, but he was playing with the best DL player of our generation, and maybe ever, in Darnold, and that makes everyone’s job easier. Doesn’t mean Von has same impact if he landed here, and Beane did inquire about a Miller trade too.
  7. Geezus. Beane takes a bloated perennial loser, guts it, and turns it into a perennial SB contender after just 2 rebuild years and people act like he’s done nothing and is a bum. He is easily a top 5 GM in the NFL right now, and our future is sky high because of him. But people keep whining about him even though it wasn’t his fault the team on the field couldn’t hold a lead for 13 seconds.
  8. Is this where we over exaggerate Mack because he’s not a Bill? He hasn’t had double digit sacks since 2018, but I’m sure we are gonna have a ton of people here crying over this as if our shot at a SB is gone without him.
  9. Then you might want to find a new sport if you have that big of an issue with it because 32 out of 32 teams do this every year. Sign players whose primary role is ST.
  10. That’s a pretty poor take on Barkley if you ask me. And I suspect 31 other GMs agree with me on that.
  11. I am all for Kirk, he is just going to get a lot better offers elsewhere after whats happened already.
  12. Kirk is going to get $12-14M per year, Beane isn't going to pay that. Adams and Godwin tagged. Mike Williams stayed with Chargers for $60M over 3 years. Kirks value was always very high, now its even higher.
  13. I said it on January 11th...before they said that. Thanks for trying.
  14. Which is what I said back on January 11th
  15. Lol, called this 1 second after I read Wilson was traded. Younger, better version of what Wilson is today. Next week Watson will either be in high demand or his trade value will remain cold...this Friday is a big day for his immediate future in terms of the legal issues.
  16. How is this possible? I was told by a bunch of people here this was impossible when I said Wentz was either done in Indy or will be competing for his job with another vet come training camp. Lol, I mean it was clear as day they didn't want to commit to him anymore when they did their year end press conferences. Like I said in that thread originally, I think Colts are potential landing spot for Trubisky. This increases that because I doubt they want to give up more draft capital to get someone like Jimmy G where chatter is it might take a first round pick now after all the QB movement. They could still make a move for Jimmy G too, but after what they gave up for Wentz and that not working out, I would think signing someone will be more appealing for this season at least.
  17. All fair counter points, and pretty much agree with everything you said here.
  18. Yeah I guess thats a fair point, just a lot for him IMHO opinion. That's paying for what he should be more than what hes been.
  19. Hence why I’ve been saying no way Kirk comes here, he’s gonna get paid in this market. His price may have just jumped to $14m per now. $20m for an inconsistent and oft injured WR is crazy to me. It’s as bad as the Cooper deal was.
  20. Seattle will get a better offer for DK. Next years first had a value of this years second. Someone will offer better than that for DK whose still on a rookie deal. So your plan is dead in the water right there.
  21. Not out of the question they don’t want to trade him. But reports are he wants out already, so they still have to be able to resign him. If they don’t think they can, then might as well trade him and fuel the rebuilding process. They still have Lockett and also just landed Noah Fant in the Broncos trade too.
  22. true, but I’m skeptical they want that much money invested at WR before they have a QB too. They already paid Lockett, and DK might walk when his deal is up next year. In fact he probably does walk as I doubt they wanna pay him and Lockett while rebuilding
  23. Now that Russ is gone, DK trade could be legit option. I’d snag him in a heartbeat given he’s still on a rookie deal.
