  1. Seemed like a foregone conclusion when they traded Daryl Johnson, and glad too because he looks good. I actually thought because he had looked so good but was still behind some other guys, he could be the one traded and get the better trade value from. But my preference was always to keep him, so glad it worked out. I had the same question haha
  2. Par for the course!?!? Such disrespect for Nathan Peterman, I mean he has clearly turned a corner! I mean thats a huge improvement from his 3 TD 12 INT career in Buffalo! I mean he went from 1 TD per 4 INT to now 1 TD per 2 INT...he is now TWICE as good as he was here! 😂🤣😂 #MVPsleeper
  3. Ive had him making it all preseason, glad its official now! I really wanted him to stick
  4. Actually I was surprised that people took them earlier than I expected in one of my drafts, I did manage to snag Emmanuel Sanders in the last round of my first draft too, which surprisingly was a 12 team league too. In my 10 team league, Sanders went like round 9 or 10 and so Cole went same round. But I think I am gonna drop smoke now and grab Davis who is available in both
  5. Very well could be...still not a story that needs this much coverage. He is a shell of himself and is at best a fringe starter in the NFL currently, who cares if he was cut in terms of non stop coverage in sports media about it
  6. Think about this for a second...Both Nate Peterman and Zay Jones have out lasted players like Antonio Brown John Brown, and Tyrell Williams on the Raiders.
  7. Haha, and I honestly dont really care if he is on the team or off the team, I just want Beane to put the roster together. I never even gave him a thought until I started making roster prediction threads and struggled to find a spot to keep him over others I wanted to keep. But honestly, could care less if he makes it or gets cut. But for some reason, the mere suggestion he could be cut brought his army of defenders which creates a ton of dialogue on him or the subject matter. Kind of like how long all the Duke threads used to get...very polarizing topics apparently ha. I play along because most people have been quite reasonable and thought out in the convo, and I respect that and participate
  8. Dude, it was NUTS! I was watching First take this morning which is MUCH more tolerable without Stephen A on it right now and it came across like 10 min into the broadcast as "breaking news". ONE HOUR LATER they still had NOT stopped talking about it as I had the TV running while I was making some breakfast and returning some work emails. I finally had to turn it off, I could not take another minute of it. Came back to it later out of morbid curiosity, and STILL talking about it. Like who cares, geezus, its not even a shock. He threw for like 8 TD's in 15 games last year...like why is this a shock or even a story, he was outplayed all preseason by Mac Jones, and Cam is no where near a fit for BB and McDaniels offense. I can not believe how much talk there is about Cam getting cut...for me it was like DUH, his arm is shot and is not very good anymore...of course he was cut after the Pats used a first round pick on a QB who literally is in the mold of Brady in terms of style of play, physical traits, etc. It was a bigger story when the Pats even brought him back this year...like no one with a right mind saw that coming after how bad he looked last year throwing balls into the dirt with no pressure on him.
  9. Hahahaha, eating some wings, drinking some beers while laughing about at this thread
  10. DAMN IT, he was my sneaky sleeper at the end of my first 2 fantasy drafts haha. I was like he might end up their top target there given that depth chart. I am not sure he has any value for FFL anywhere else at this point of the season, probably will be too low on the depth chart joining them this late in the process.
  11. We are clearly bored waiting for the final cut downs. Funny, I am not sure anyone of us discussing this even care that much one way or the other. Just something to discuss to pass the time really as I see it.
  12. Fair enough, but there have been plenty of those types of arguments in a multitude of threads over the past few weeks. All good, like I said I meant no disrespect either.
  13. You and this straw man comment. You just said that to me on another post, yet I have presented a plethora of thought and reason as to why I thought he wasn't a lock for the roster. So, no disrespect...running around posting "straw-man" comments is literally just you doing that, not the other way around.
  14. Yeah I liked him too, but I think he is a prime PS squad guy personally. I think Wildgoose would be riskier to get onto the PS vs McCloud. But I would have no problem if McCloud made it either, he showed some promise for sure, albeit against lesser competition.
  15. I am most interested in the future of following people (despite recent Taiwan dialogue, who I actually dont care that much about...just suggesting he doesnt make it brings out his family defense team lol) Stevenson - We havent kept 7 WRs before, but I would like to see us do it this year as I am intrigued about this guy and like to see him make the team. Wildgoose - I have a sneaky feeling about him being someone who could make the final roster and like his potential. Mostly, McD has always done well at developing DB's too, so would like to see the kid stick.
  16. Last year is was like 5:15pm or something when Bills released it...someone shared a tweet with the exact time.
  17. I wouldn't go that far. I mean admittedly, its by no means a stretch to see Taiwan make the team. As others have pointed out, we are already looking at other changes to ST. But, honestly, that is pretty typical for good rosters, to see turnover on ST as the roster gets harder and harder to make the more talented it gets. I think it mostly means that either the guys they looked at for Gunner during the preseason didn't show well enough on tape, or that ultimately they don't see Brieda as a game day contributor and either cut him or plan to keep him as only an emergency RB. I specifically mention Brieda because I find it HIGHLY unlikely we go into weekly games with 5 active RB's between Devin, Moss, Gilliam, Brieda, and Taiwan (because the only reason to keep Taiwan is to be active on game days for ST). So honestly, Taiwan's future here IMHO almost solely depends on the role they see for Brieda, if at all. And given how many times both McD and Beane spoke about adding more speed at RB this offseason, I think they are serious about that given how serious they apparently were also about potentially taking a RB early in the draft. So if they keep Brieda, I think its because they intend on him being part of the game plan.
  18. Hahaha I’m having Zay Jones flash backs lol. Although I would take Taiwan a million times over Zay lol.
  19. Exactly! This roster is stacked and it’s so awesome, love Beane!
  20. Well we don’t know that either. Did you watch the gunners all preseason? I mean we dominated the opponents in preseason, so how did the guys playing gunner look? I didn’t pay attention to them much, but I also did not see any bad ST plays either. And Taiwan didn’t play a snap in the preseason which tells me they were looking at other players because even Josh Allen played. Taiwan is not more important than Allen, Hughes, Cole, etc who all played in the third game. So now the question is, did someone show well enough in that role to fill his role…we will know soon enough.
  21. Again, does not mean there isn’t someone else capable of good gunner play. That’s the point. Some of you have made this decision ONLY Taiwan is capable of it
  22. Same head coach said how important it was to get more speed ON THE FIELD at RB, but you downplay that and Brieda too. Same head coach praised Daryl Johnson also just watched him get traded. In other words, coaches praise guys all the time, doesn’t mean they ultimately fit into the final roster plans. But you seem to cherry pick and take the one comment on Taiwan as the only thing that matters. Shows they like him for sure, but doesn’t guarantee a roster spot.
  23. While not wrong, that’s really you making Taiwan into a god at Gunner that is so irreplaceable when you don’t really know the gap between him and the next guy who can play gunner. All you are doing is creating an imaginary drop off you have no point of reference of. You can’t even tell me who will replace him at gunner let alone tell me that Taiwan is that much better than him that Taiwan is irreplaceable. You are essentially saying Taiwan is the Patrick Mahomes of gunners and his replacement is the Jake Fromm of gunners. But we just don’t know that yet, not me nor you. That’s all it is. And if Taiwan makes the team, then great, means they felt he was that much better and chose to keep him and I’m fine with that. I’m just not sold on that being case personally right now because we have some good prospects I’d like to hold onto elsewhere or guys like Brieda who I think could add value in more game situations.
  24. Lots of Ertz chatter on Twitter involving Bills and Jets…no substance really that I can see, just because of the Hollister cut (which is almost certainly a temp move to IR someone and resign him and likely has nothing to do with Ertz) and now the Herndon trade. Just speculation he’s headed to AFC East over that which is silly and some Packers chatter too. Ertz is the new Clooney lol
