  1. Not every game goes the same. We lost to the Jags. Bengals lost to the Jets. Sometimes players are in a different zone. Josh and Mahomes were both playing out of their mind in our game. Doesn't mean both will play at that level each game. Mahomes sure didnt in our first meeting earlier in the year. So my advice, dont over react too much to a single game. Which is the same advice I keep saying in some threads where people want to do extreme things like fire Beane, our coaches, trade all our picks for elite players and mortgage our future and cap health to go all in one year...etc etc. Reality is, we beat them twice this year...just second time we gave the game away over some terrible defensive decisions by Frazier in final 13 seconds, compounded by a coin toss that didn't go our way. And the second time, we were missing our best defensive player who probably has a big impact on the game in Tre White too.
  2. Raiders were just a playoff team. They are not going to trade away a stud DE who only makes $4M, that literally makes no sense. And even less chance they would give a free stud to someone like the Bills in their conference. Might as well start a thread of lets trade a first to the Rams for Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey and Cooper Kupp. It has the same probability of happening.
  3. Better question: Why on Earth would the Raiders trade their talented DE who only costs them $4M in 2022? Like what is the point to posting make believe things that can never happen? And did you just mention Washington as an example of how going all in on works? Lol, they are the literal poster child on the warning poster of why not to do it.
  4. Oh nice, another lets be Rams thread? The one @FireChans tried to start and yell about yesterday wasn't enough? Lol.
  5. This is gonna be a long offseason. Longer than usual.
  6. Was a new thread necessary on this? There was already one covering it, plus 2 more on each OC candidate.
  7. How much elite talent do you expect? Arguably top 3 QB in the league. Arguably the best safety duo in the league. Top 5 WR in the league. Top 5 CB in the league. How much "elite talent" do you think a team can just afford? We have one of the most, if not the most, overall talented rosters in the league. You are being overly dramatic by a lot.
  8. Weird...I could have sworn we won that game until a 13 second blunder by Frazier calling an awful defensive formation for the game situation.
  9. Frazier has shown to be able to adjust at halftime, but I think thats with McD's input and help. Frazier is much much worse at adjusting in game and is awful at situational awareness. The most disappointing thing for me this offseason so far was seeing Daboll go to the Giants instead of the Dolphins. That was the only place it seemed Frazier had a shot of getting a HC gig at. And now, I fear we are saddled with him again next year. Could we do worse than Frazier, sure...and at times our D carried us when our offense wasn't in sync this year. But I don't think his style of defense matches up well with the Chiefs for one, and he keeps playing that same style they keep exploiting.
  10. I keep seeing people say stuff like this, and its honestly puzzling to me. How do you expect Diggs to touch the ball while Davis is torching the Chiefs for over 200 yards and 4 TD's? I don't get this criticism. Should we have not thrown those TD's to Davis so we could throw different passes to Diggs for the sake of passing to Diggs? I mean, its not like Diggs is why we lost...its not like moving the ball is why we lost. Allen only had like 120 yards passing that didnt go to Davis. And that was spread between Diggs, Sanders, Cole, Knox, and our RB's. Diggs also made an amazing and critical 2 pt conversion catch and layed some big blocks in the game too that sprung other players. Not to mention, the extra attention he got helped Davis get those opportunities too.
  11. For me...yes and no. Its nauseating to think how close we were to a Bills vs Niners SB...I am obviously a huge Bills fan, and my fiance is a huge Niners fan. And the SB is literally like 4 miles from our house too. Not to mention, the great Chris Berman history with picking these two teams, would have been great. So I am sick to my stomach that Fraziers absurdly stupid defense in 13 seconds screwed us, and disappointed for my fiance that Tartt literally dropped their SB birth away. At the same time, if I remove those bias, then yes, I am excited for this SB. Rams were always a second team of mine growing as a kid, and they are my local team now. Both teams have offenses that can score too. But couple cool things about the game, and definitely better than seeing Chiefs in it again. Kupp and Darnold are two of my favorite non-Bills players to watch (so is Deebo Samuel, so would have looked forward to him had they made it too) Burrow is this young, cocky, arrogant QB coming into the home stadium of their opponent, who also happens to filed the best DL of this generation, and maybe ever and one of the best CB's. Jamar Chase is a fun player to watch too. No Jackson Mahomes or Pat's douchey girlfriend either. The only thing I already hate, and it will get worse if the Bengals pull off the win...is the "Burrow is better than Allen" crap that has already started. I can not stand when people give too much credit/blame to a QB. And Allen was better by just about every measure than Burrow this year and in the playoffs, but because his TEAM managed to advance its not he is suddenly better than Allen? Nick Foles won a SB, he isn't better than Allen. So I will be rooting HARD for the Rams.
  12. The amount of terrible hot takes on here lately is astounding, even for TSW.
  13. We would have destroyed them there still too.
  14. Yet Stafford threw the game away with a free gimme interception to Tartt, he just forgot to catch it. Amazing all these Rams threads. They didn’t win, the 49ers lost it when he dropped an interception on yet another awful pass by Stafford.
  15. So are we supposed to bank on a safety dropping a gimme free interception too in order to make the SB? Lmao
  16. Updated poll count: 108 for 104 against Still a split subject. Been a good thread at least, regardless what happens. Pretty much 50/50 since the get go.
  17. @GunnerBillDont be surprised if Malik Willis is not only taken in the first round, but the first QB taken in the draft. He has the highest upside of any QB in the draft. And with the other QBs not being all that strong, I think come draft day this is the guy that teams take a a chance on and is first QB off a he board. Especially with how much QB mobility is valued now. He not only is a gifted runner, but he’s got a cannon and is a good passer too. My prediction: He is the first QB drafted.
  18. I am not opposed to getting Fournette too, but I think Fournette is going to get more money than people think. And we can clear a little cap space if we were able to include a player or two in the trade to get Barkley. But I think Fournette would also be a great get here.
  19. What a ridiculous response. Barkley has a low market value with the injury issues and lower production last couple years. To compare trading for him to Chase or Mahomes just shows how out of touch with reality you are. Barkley is gone after this year regardless when he would be a FA as they begin a long rebuilding process. it’s not only in their best interest to trade him, it’s actually more likely he gets traded than this year than not.
  20. Can’t afford Kamara, and why do you think Fournette is going to be cheap? He was a beast this year
  21. 86 for and 84 against now in the poll as of now. Honestly Barry Sanders is the only RB I can think of that excelled to greatness behind a weak OL. It’s pretty important to the success of a RB. Priest Holmes for example was pedestrian in Baltimore and then was other worldly the moment he landed in KC. That being said, if our OL performs next year the way he has the last 7 games (or even better) then Barkley could be a monster here IMHO. It reminds me a LOT of the Priest Holmes move out Baltimore in fact. Barkley has seen stacked boxes his whole career, he won’t get that here. And if he does, Allen will eat them alive.
