  1. Again, you’re assuming he was involved in the sexual assault. You are completely over looking the possibility they had a consensual encounter prior and separately from the assault by the other individuals later in the night.
  2. Again, all good, we agree to disagree. I’m just shocked because the film on Adams is incredible. He has the best release off the line in the NFL and is easily one of the best route runners in the league.
  3. You asked if the SD police denounced it as fake. I countered with have they confirmed his involvement yet? Point being neither has happened, and therefore we need to wait until we know more.
  4. Have they charged Matt or even confirmed he participated in a forceful rape?
  5. Yes I read it, do you even understand what a lawsuit is? I can literally file a lawsuit tomorrow against you for what ever I want…does it make a true? A lawsuit isn’t an indication of confirmed guilt.
  6. I support waiting to know facts and see evidence before handing out a conviction. Obviously a foreign concept to you so much you don’t even understand what that actually means.
  7. OJ went through a trial, you know that thing where they present all the evidence and facts. You read an internet headline.
  8. This statement alone tells me how ignorant you are. Hey tell me something…how many eyewitnesses did you interview? Tell us all about the rest of your vigorous investigation? Have the authorities named you their lead detective yet? Ah wait…nevermind, you read a headline and became an internet Karen keyboard warrior as if you knew everything. Don’t worry, we already know. Rest of us sane, level headed individuals will let the facts come out before we decide someone’s innocent or guilt.
  9. What if he’s proven innocent? Condemning a man now to guilt of a crime he did not commit is ruining his life. You can’t be serious with this being about just getting cut. You know how hard it’s going to be for him to shake this even if proven innocent? Seriously, how short sighted does one have to be to think it’s just about whether he gets cut or not?
  10. No I do not. If he is shown to be innocent then he doesn’t deserve to lose his job because someone else saw an opportunity.
  11. First, no one is saying he’s innocent. Waiting until the facts are known is not saying someone is innocent. But we live in a country where our rights are we are innocent until proven guilty. But people on the internet would rather ruin a persons life at a moments notice before they even know the facts. It’s honestly not only ignorant but pathetic that people would invest so much time into ruining someone before they even know if they deserve it.
  12. So you’re comfortable ruining a persons life, condemning him now, before you actually have any real knowledge or facts on whether he’s actually guilty? I mean you literally don’t know squat about this case because literally none of us do. Nobody here has conducted an investigation. So anyone casting judgement now is premature. Not one person here will object to cutting him and seeing him face criminal charges if he’s guilty. But many of us are not going to decide he’s guilty without having literally any info or facts to be able to make a qualified opinion on the matter.
  13. It’s not. It’s people here seemingly wanting to make Matt guilty of something before all the facts are known have decided to now die on that hill as if consensual sex between a senior in high school and someone in college is comparably the same as violently raping someone against their will. By those standards, I too would also be a victim of “rape” here in CA given I was 17 and sleeping with a girl who was 20 and even turned 21 while we were still hooking up…and she wasn’t even in college, just worked at Sizzler with me.
  14. Exactly. People keep saying this about they were shocked he wasn’t the first punter taken, but Araiza wasn’t even the top punter on anyones board, and not always even in the top 2. He had real question marks about hang time and accuracy, which are far more important in the NFL than distance. The only reason people were shocked was because he had a cool nickname and was the only punter they heard of, but he wasn’t the best punter in college football. He might end up being the best of the class as he has the most upside, but it was not a surprise he wasn’t the first one picked.
  15. But you don’t know if Araiza is a victim or a guilty party. So yeah, respectfully disagree, no one here is qualified to decide who the victims are. For example: You realize it’s entirely possible she is both a victim and also falsely accusing Matt of being a party to it. What if she willingly had a sexual encounter of sorts with Matt earlier in the night but was later raped by the other accused people? Then that makes Matt a victim of extortion and her guilty of fraud, even while she may also be a victim of an assault from the other accused parties. Point is, nobody knows enough to decide now who is a victim or not…who is guilty of what. We don’t know a fraction of what even the Bills know, let alone the authorities currently investigating. So we need to pause all the rush to judgements and assumptions until we know more of the facts and evidence of what happened and by who.
  16. But…you’re assuming Araiza is guilty. Because if he is actually innocent of the gang rape, then she would be a scam artist trying to tie Araiza to a horrendous crime for the purpose of getting money. So his client defending his innocence is going to see her as trying to scam money from Araiza. The issue today, is we don’t know if Matt is involved or guilty of the accusations involving a gang rape. So everyone needs to calm down, no one on this board is qualified to decide who is the victim because no one conducted an investigation here. We need to wait until the results of the full investigation unfold before anyone decides whose lying or who is the victim. The good news is Bills felt good enough after their month long investigation into this to cut Haack and keep Araiza, that alone should give people pause before the rush to judgement.
  17. Oh stop. You know what I meant.
  18. Or maybe stop reading headlines and jumping to conclusions about a case you haven't conducted any eyewitness interviews on, done any investigation on, etc. Clearly the Bills know more than you, that doesn't make them immoral, that makes them more informed on the case to form a valid and proper opinion on the matter.
  19. You don't even know if he is guilty first of all, so stop. Second, I did not say anything whatsoever about the victim. But you do realize that you literally have zero qualifications here to even establish who is a victim and who is not? You haven't done any investigation, conducted any eyewitness interviews, etc. You read a story, and maybe like most only read a headline, and got online and decided to establish who is a victim and who is guilty. So don't come at me with accusations of what I have a problem, because the only thing I have problem with is people jumping to conclusions before they even know the facts. I mean it's possible both her and Araiza are victims even. For example, how do you know that her and Matt didn't have consensual sex earlier in the night before she was raped by the other players after Matt left? I mean there are several eyewitnesses who said Matt wasn't even there when the alleged attack happened, including one of her own friends. Everyone is 100% in support of cutting him and jail time if he is guilty without hesitation.
  20. I would argue that the Bills are as moral as they get though. No way they stand with a guy if they found anything damning in their investigation. I would confidently say that 0% chance Matt is still on this team if even their investigation was inconclusive. They clearly are confident in what they found. So, I suggest we all wait until we know more and stop assuming the worst given there is evidence here that maybe they know a lot more about it than any of us do.
  21. Or one could be amazed at the instant social media conviction of people all the the time by other people who don't actually have all the facts or information to even form a proper opinion. You are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, but we as a society lovvvvve to convict in the court of public opinion on social media the moment we get a sliver of a story. There is a lot of evidence here that maybe he isn't as guilty as the rush judgers have made him out to be given the Bills kept him after they investigated the matter and is playing tomorrow still in a meaningless preseason game.
  22. This doesn't really make sense. He is on the roster and Haack is cut because they did an investigation of their own and clearly felt comfortable that he was not guilty of this accusation. It doesn't have anything to do with draft decisions. If this broke before the draft, he would have definitely gone undrafted until his story played out and proved his innocence and signed somewhere as a UDFA. There are reportedly a lot of witnesses, including one of her own friends who went there with her, that Araiza is innocent and wasn't even in the house at the time of the alleged incident. So clearly the Bills are operating on the information they have, which I assure you is a lot more than any of us know at this stage, that makes them feel comfortable with keeping him on the roster. End of the day, he is a punter. They could have easily cut him and kept Haack or signed a FA punter to handle what will likely be one of the least punting teams in the NFL this year.
  23. Just more evidence the Bills are comfortable with what they found in regard to their investigation into the matter. So, like I keep saying, people should stop prematurely convicting and reserve opinions and judgement until we know what the Bills believe they know.
  24. And Araiza did get drafted
  25. The fact that the Bills, a class act organization with women in leadership and coaching, chose to release their returning punter and keep Araiza after knowing the story and investigating it, tells me there is definitely more they know at this stage. This is why I always say wait to judge after all information is truly known. When Watson's case first broke, I was actually on Watson's side initially as the way it first unfolded felt fishy. Just to find dozens more women come forward. You just never know this early in a story, but the Bills have had a month to research and investigate it and still felt comfortable with not only keeping him around but weathering the "guilty by social media" storm that was inevitably coming. Don't get me wrong, if he is guilty, then he is done and needs to face prison consequences. Just saying, I have a lot of respect for the Bills organization and can't imagine they would have cut Haack if they didn't feel confident in their findings from their own investigation into the matter.
