  1. My head is spinning with all these big deals we sat on for the first hour of FA lol
  2. Most important detail is that I somehow beat @YoloinOhio (barely) to post this thread 😂 Moral of the story: Miracles can happen people, don’t give up on your dreams 😂
  3. Not accurate at all. We have no cap space coming into the off-season and some big holes to fill like CB and DT plus needing help elsewhere. You can’t take up over $8M in cap space (RT money) for what is likely a mediocre starting guard or a backup G/T when you have cap space issues. This move always seemed probable given our cap issues and Williams projected role this next season. It’s not an indicator that a big signing is happening. Doesn’t mean we won’t make a big signing, but just saying this was always a strong possibility regardless who we sign. Personally I think it’s also quite possible he returns as a depth OL guys who can backup G or T. Depends what kind of market there is for him though.
  4. From what I’ve read, Bills could get out of it after next year if it wasn’t working out. And we can always redo his deal as well, and I would suspect that if we did trade for him that discussion about that would be done before we did. Personally I still think it’s more plausible we end up with Barkley. But the CMC trade is more doable than people think.
  5. LMAO I came to post the same thing hahaha, glad I checked
  6. I think we need to pin a thread that says CMC would ONLY cost $8M against the cap this year because people still mistakenly think his cap hit would be $17M. CMC at $8M this year is an entirely different conversation than $17M. Not to mention, just trading Beasley will free up most the cap space needed to absorb CMC. Not saying we are going to do it, but so many people have this false narrative of what CMC would cost in trade against the cap.
  7. GOOD. Thats the better approach as far as I am concerned.
  8. Gallup was probably just happy they finally committed to him given they had him and Cooper and still drafted Lamb. Good deal for both parties. If he out performs the deal, they can probably work something out down the road. But this seems like a fair deal for both parties IMHO.
  9. CMC only has an $8m cap hit this year, so trading Beasley and his contract already clears way for most of that salary
  10. Glad he’s back, although I always thought there was a chance he would back, so not that surprising either
  11. How is this possible, I was told he was for sure gone right here on TSW because they decoded that out of something he said on social media lmao
  12. Yes simply because most of the expectations around here border on the line of delusional and ridiculous.
  13. Yeah, weird to say the least...couldn't believe they tagged Njoku lol. They don't really even use him much. I bet Njoku wasn't thrilled about it either
  14. And this is exactly what I have been saying and why it was not realistic he would be signed by us, because he would be at least a $12M guy most likely, and could see $14M per after the Mike Williams extension along with Adams and Godwin getting tagged.
  15. Welp he just went from the "Black Kirk Cousins" to the "Shorter Carson Wentz" Moral off the story, don't insult your QB by comparing him to Kirk Cousins or you are gonna get traded for peanuts to a crappier QB. 🤣😂🤣
  16. Disgusting. He is worth nothing close to that.
  17. This is where I say “I told you so”.
  18. haha he clearly misspelled “price is” in his tweet I’ve been critical of Coopers contract, he wasn’t worth what the Cowboys paid him. Talented, but too inconsistent for that money he got. So what would be his cap hit if we traded for him? I mean I am cool with a 4th, but more concerned about what he would cost against the cap. If he’s still $20M a season then GTFOH with that trade, let him go somewhere else. If his cap price is reasonable and all it took was a 4th, then I would have some interest.
  19. Lol, I agree he probably gets cut. That’s a long time to be away, but this is a low risk signing, so might as well take a peek, and if can’t do it anymore then he’s an easy cut
  20. Honestly, he’s worth a look. What’s the harm of bringing him to camp? Not like there are a ton of exciting options out there. Bring him and another guy in and see how they compete. He’s an easy cut if he has little to offer, which is prob what happens, just no harm in taking a peek. But, even if Bills were willing too, I think Kap is going to hold out until a team calls that could offer an opportunity to win a starting job. Which I think is a mistake, he should just take what he can get to at least get that foot back into the NFL door and see what happens from there. I would support kicking the tires here, but ultimately I don’t think it happens.
