  1. Thats a good deal right now! Someone should take you up on that. My neighbors trying to buy similar tickets and they are like $500 each right now. In fact, if no one buys them, they would probably buy them from you. But see if anyone on TSW needs them first
  2. Awesome! I live 5 min from Marina Del Rey too DM me if you need any info on things to do or places to eat
  3. I mentioned this in another thread, the one I started where I leaked this game and the thanksgiving game back in April. I live at the beach, literally beach front, like 10 min from the stadium. So I might do something here that day before the game too, like earlier in the day so there’s still time to hit any Bills Backer tailgate events at the stadium too. I’ll keep y’all posted as we get closer, anyone here would be welcome
  4. I will be there, live 6 miles from the stadium
  5. I’ve met Von Miller in person. I’m 6’4” and can tell you he felt big to me in person. So I think it’s more the guys he’s next to are just big making him look smaller.
  6. 1. Whatever it is, should be after the SB not before so everyone can participate if they want to. 2. The game can not be repaired, it has to go as is. 3. A flag football game seems like a reasonable replacement, but it won’t be and it won’t last. Why? Because making it flag football would encourage the players to play harder and faster, and it’s not a matter of it, but when someone gets a serious non contact injury such as ACL or Achilles tear. And if they don’t play hard and fast, then it’s just as bad as the game they play now. 4. Most likely low risk and long term viable solution is replace it with a series of competitions like Saturday in NBA all star weekend. 5. Maybe in addition to skills competition they could possibly add in some non football team competitions too such as dodge ball, golf, softball. Now for what I would personally do: Me and a group of friends play a game we call the Cobra Games (no idea where name came from lol) Friday after thanksgiving every year. It’s a drunken Olympics of sort amongst us where every team member must take a shot before and in some cases after each event lol (NFL doesn’t have to include alcohol of course). We break up into teams, usually 3 or 4 per team depending how many players we have that year and play 5 events. We play it at a local high school (since school is not in session the day after thanksgiving) on a basketball court and football field. We all put in like $20 into the winners pot. First is a basketball shooting challenge. Each person on your team has to shoot from somewhere on the court before you can shoot again. There are designated point zones where you get different amount of points on made baskets from those areas. You have 90 seconds to score as many points as you can. Shoot out of turn and you have to take a shot of alcohol before you can shoot again. Second is FG kicking. Each team starts at the 10 yard line, one team plays at a time. Everyone on the team kicks, as long as one person makes it the ball gets moved back 5 yards. You keep going until no one makes it. Longest FG wins, tie breaker is how many on team made it from that distance, and if still tied then how many made it the distance before and so on and so on. Third is pass catching. You start 5 yards apart with each of your teammates in a daisy chain. You can not take more than 1 step in any direction to make the catch, meaning one foot has to be planted at all times when catching the ball. Drop it and you’re out, throw a bad pass to where they can’t catch it without moving their plant foot, you’re out. Once everyone successfully completes the chain, you move 5 more yards apart. You do this until a pass is not completed. Longest completed daisy chain wins, ties go to a throw off. Fourth is a relay race. You start by cracking, pouring, and chugging a beer. Once empty you run 20 yards and back. Next person now does same chug and then sprints 30 yards and back. Then next teammate goes 40 yards (always ten yards longer than previous) and back. And so on until whole team has gone. Best team time wins. If you spill any beer, foam any beer out of your cup, if you leave any beer in can or cup, etc then you must do 10 pushups while clock is running before continuing. Fifth and final game: Bowling, highest scoring team wins. All games and place finishes worth certain amount of points, most total points wins the trophy. Winning team takes everyone to local dive strip club after and uses prize money to buy every team a pitcher of beer and a round of lap dances for winning team. The afternoon show at the local dive strip club is quite an interesting show too haha. So maybe an NFL version of this is a 2 day challenge where NFC vs AFC break up into an Olympics of sort made up of smaller teams and do some mini games like this to earn points. Mini Games inspired by sports such as golf, volleyball, basketball, softball, cornhole, bowling and of course NFL skills challenges, 7 on 7 flag football, etc. They would have to strategize where to use say Aaron Rodgers…he has a 4 handicap in golf…use him there or a skills challenge where throwing the ball is involved? I think this would be fun. By the way, I shared all those details of our Cobra Games more for you guys in case anyone thought they might have fun doing it with friends.
  7. My fiancé laughs at how much I’m on here and obsessed about football. So I’m with you brother!
  8. But their roster talent is even better than anything Tyrod had, so if he can be just ok, they can score a bunch.
  9. I would caution people to not over look Tua and the Dolphins. That offense is loaded now, and its not going to need Tua to have a Josh Allen like year 3 for it to be dangerous with all that speed. They are fast everywhere...QB, RB, WR, and TE. If Tua can be solid they will be a tough matchup. If Tua can be better than that, they will be a quite dangerous offense. There are still legit questions about them though...they fired a good HC, so will the new regime be as good, better or worse? Can Tua stay healthy, and if he does, what kind of player can he be? Plus the RB's have both had injury issues in the recent years. But that offense does have potential to be quite good even if Tua is just solid.
  10. This is why I was so adamant pre-draft at the need to draft a corner early, and preferably in round 1. While if there was a guy to believe would come all the back it would be Tre, its also just not a foregone conclusion either. There is also another layer often over looked in situations like his. It can take a while for a player coming of an ACL like this to get back to playing their best, often not until the following season. Its not just a physical challenge, but also a mental challenge to fully trust the body again and play without hesitation. So I feel a LOT better now that we have Elam here given we still don't when he will be able to return to the game or what kind of player he will be when he comes back. Don't get me wrong, I am still optimistic Tre can resume his career and be an impact player moving forward, but its definitely warranted to have concern until we see him on the field again. The good news is if anyone can get back to close to their previous form, or even all the way back, its Tre, especially with his style of play. Plus he is young enough, has the right kind of drive and commitment to be the best version he can be.
  11. Statistically it shows the "trap game" is more a myth, more like something fans or the media say to make sense why a favored team loses to an underdog. Yet, underdogs win every week. Its why historically, there have only been 5 teams in NFL history go winless. And when you think about all the teams that had say 1, 2 or 3 wins...well odds are when they won those games they beat teams better than them given a team with 1-3 wins is either the worst team that year or among the worst.
  12. I fully agree that Rousseau could be in line for a big breakout season, been saying it all off season. HOWEVER...I would caution people on using double digit sack totals as the barometer for deciding it will be a break out year. He can affect the game in so many ways, plus we are still going to use a heavy rotation to keep legs fresh. This isn't a defense where you are likely to see a single player get a ton of sacks, more like our defense as a whole collectively get more sacks with how we use a heavy rotation and now can get pressure from all 4 DL spots plus DB and LB blitzes. But Rousseau can be very disruptive in the passing lanes with his size, like how he tipped Mahomes pass and then caught if for an INT all because of his arm length. And with Miller on the other side and a revamped interior DL that should also get to the QB more, plus our other young DE's rotating through, a breakout year for Rousseau may look like 7-9 sacks with lots of QB pressures, some tipped passes, etc. So I am all for calling it now in terms of him becoming a breakout player on the defense this year because I think he will. I am not sold he hits 10-12 sacks as an individual just for the reasons I said above. Certainly possible, but just saying its also not the only barometer for him to have a breakout season.
  13. Why was it bold as hell for KC? No one thought Alex Smith was even a top 15 QB at that time. Yeah they won 12 games, but they were not an intimidating 12 win team. SF was in a similar situation with Jimmy G and went and got Trey Lance. And in 2017, the consensus top QB in the draft, and really the only one where most were not divided on was Trubisky. Both Watson had various debate on who would be better, and a lot of people on this board were against Mahomes or Watson (especially Mahomes) at 10 too. Mahomes was seen as a guy with mechanics that were believed would have to be rebuilt before he could succeed in the NFL and some had him as a mid first to as low as a second round graded player. Watson was a guy people questioned his turnovers and if he could be a true passer in the NFL, and a lot of people here were not interested in him because of Tyrod Taylor and not wanting another guy like him. Bills had a new HC, an offense that finished 5th in the NFL in scoring, a QB who just went to his 2nd pro bowl in 3 years, with a bottom feeder defense and a GM on his way out the door. They made the decision to acquire the assets to go hard for a QB in the next years draft that was seen as a richer QB draft. So thats not a bold move? To pass on a chance to take a QB at 10 and prioritize acquiring assets to go after a QB in what was seen as a potentially elite QB draft where they would have a whole year to have evaluated our current roster as well as the crop of QB's coming out of college? And lets be honest, it worked because we got that elite QB, one most of us would swap straight up for Mahomes today and certainly not give up Tre and Allen for Mahomes. Then the Bills (and it was leaked that showed "Wyoming" as the top of their whole pre draft board) made more moves to get up to the 12th pick and striking distance to go get their guy. A guy that probably 80% of this board hated and the media blasted them over in Josh Allen despite the fact he almost went #1 overall. They identified the guy who was special out of a crop that was considered one of the best QB draft classes in a decade at that the time of the draft. The guy who was on many mock drafts, media drafts, this boards opinion the worst of the top 5 guys that were slated to go early. And in the process they also drafted Tre White and developed him into an elite player. So no, its not luck in my eyes. They made different bold moves, moves that worked out, moves where they made the right decisions. I 100% guarantee both the Bills and Chiefs would make the exact same choice today if they could do it all over again.
  14. I didnt say you said for him to be fired, but you are without a doubt at least implying there is short term pressure on McD to win that Super Bowl. Go back and read your posts, you are not talking about McD like he is safe, you are talking like his seat is already hot. So all I was pointing out is that in the post where you listed all these coaches with SB rings and how McD must get one too, most the coaches took a while before they got their first ring, most have only the one ring with many more playoff misses and losses, etc etc. I mean this team is now just really arriving, I can't see any chance McD is replaced in the next 2 years barring some unforeseen collapse where injuries were not the reason. He has proven to be a great coach so far, a great unifier, a great leader, and great at coaching up his players. He is the very rare players coach that is still full of discipline and fundamentals. I think he has at least 2 to 3 more years before his job would come into question if we have not yet won the SB. But don't worry...we gonna win it this year anyway and put this matter to rest
  15. Andy Reid Phi: 1-4 in Conference Championship Games. 0-1 in Super Bowl. Andy Reid KC: Does have a SB, but he’s also lost 2 more Chamionship Games and another SB. A day Reid has reached the Conf Championship Game or Super Bowl 9 times. He has only won the SB once. Sean Payton has a SB, but also missed the playoffs many times with a 5000 yard passing Drew Brees led offense. I mean you put all these coaches on some pedestal here while completely ignoring how long it took them to actually win a SB, and how often they came up short too. So sorry, your it must happen right now or else mentality would have fired most of the coaches you just praised before they ever won their first SB.
  16. Im working on confirming seats, if I can get an extra ticket I’ll let you know.
  17. Yup, this rings a bell and what I remember thinking he did it again.
  18. TBH, I dont really remember. But I do remember thinking he just blew another SB and my Fiance is a die hard Niners fan and she and her family still upset with Kyle over the game too, as all many niners fans I know.
  19. Thats is true, and one could look at him too in the Atlanta collapse. Good point for sure Nah, it was more than that. Ask a Niner fan, they have gripes with both Jimmy G and Kyle after that 2019 game.
  20. Yeah, since Jimmy G arrived, Niners have been a tough team. That being said, I think it says more about Kyle than Jimmy G though. Jimmy, like you said, isn’t a top 10 QB. But he is a guy who can protect the ball, and make plays still to compliment a strong run game. And Kyle has been able to win a lot with Jimmy G as a result. If they had a top 10 QB, they would have probably won the SB in 2019 and possibly 2021. But it’s gonna be interesting to see what happens this year. Jimmy still there and Trey is in the wings. If they do officially transition to Trey and it doesn’t work out, it will be one of those situations where you don’t know what you got until it’s gone. Or it could be like when KC traded Smith so Mahomes could take over and ends up being the right move. All the Niners fans I know are nervous haha.
  21. That’s not really an accurate way to phrase it though. They aren’t “feast or famine”, your post makes it sound like that it has to do with the fact Jimmy isn’t top 10 when in reality it’s only about if Jimmy is hurt or not. 5 seasons he’s been there, but he was only there part of that first season as he was acquired via trade. 2017: 6 Wins - Jimmy G didn’t arrive until the trade deadline. He started a week later and the 49ers were undefeated 5-0 with Jimmy G. So the fact they only won 6 games was only because they didn’t have Jimmy G the full season. 2018: 6 Wins - Jimmy G got knocked out for the season in week 3. 2019: Super Bowl birth - Jimmy G led them to the SB that they had the lead in heading into the 4th quarter. 2020: 6 wins - Jimmy G got knocked out for the season again in the 2nd game of the year. They also had other key injuries too like Bosa. 2021: NFCCG - Jimmy G led them back to NFCCG despite losing their starting RBs and also Kittle for a chunk of the season. And may have been a Tarrt dropped gimme interception away from making it back to the SB. As long as Jimmy G is on the field, the Niners win. Which has been the case in 3 of his 5 seasons (he was undefeated that first partial season). So the yo yo is solely based on whether their starting QB was on the field.
  22. Nah, cuz then he’s gonna have an in game 💩emergency 🤣
  23. Hahaha you must have missed the just kidding comment in that post
  24. Hahaha yea thats like 4000 calories and a weeks worth of Salt...think my heart just stopped a quick second at the thought of eating 40 wings haha
  25. Depends on how much ranch I have 🤣 I kid...I kid...🤣
