  1. This is such a terrible take. Except you have literally no idea if that is true at all. You 100% just made that up. You’ve decided in your mind they preferred McDuffie when you literally have no idea which CB they preferred. In fact the CB they were linked a lot more to was Booth who is still available. I don’t know why people just make things up to sell an agenda.
  2. This thread gets funnier by the minute. Reminds me of the "Wrong Josh" melt downs. Reminds me of the "Tre White" melt downs. Reminds me of TSW really...lmao. This pick is a great pick, love it and exactly what we needed. PS: Offense Averaged 41.5 points per game in the playoffs. Defense gave up 42 to send us home including 3 scores in final 3 minutes of the game. PPS: Whining about a 4th round pick is even sillier. We got the guy they wanted, thats all that matters. And Beane knows more about evaluating football players than this whole forum combined. Great job Beane, can't wait until tomorrow.
  3. And you ain't an NFL Scout. Not by a country mile. So theres that too sport 😉
  4. This thread is hilarious. Cant wait to pull this up again in a year or two and laugh at all the ridiculous melt downs. Its priceless. So many absolutely ridiculous hot takes.
  5. People need to let the trade of the 4th pick go...geezus, they went and got their guy. They know CB"s, so just be excited for the pick. Who cares about the 4th if it got us another shut down corner to play opposite Tre for the next 4 to 5 years.
  6. I LOVE THE PICK! I thought they would go Booth over him, but this kid was unreal before he got hurt. We needed this, and if Beane traded up I am assuming he felt so strongly about him he didnt want to risk someone else moving ahead of us to take him given we CB was a pretty obvious choice for us at 25. I don't care about the fourth as long as they got the guy they coveted. Now gonna be interesting to see what we do in the 2nd, wouldn't surprise me to see us trade up again at some point in this draft.
  7. I’ve seen more productive, faster RBs at big schools come in the NFL and get no where near the YPC Devin has. There are guys right now in the NFL that meet that description in fact. So sorry, all your claims here are just unsubstantiated by facts or logic, and purely speculative opinion. And hey, that’s 100% ok to have that opinion, but I would encourage you to abandon this quest to push that it comes from sort of statistical analysis or facts. Because your reasoning isn’t making sense on all these proclamations and conclusions of his (alleged) nearly certain future success.
  8. Yeah this is what I think is going to happen too. I think if he doesn’t trade up, he probably trades down instead of picking at 25 unless one of those first round graded players slips to him.
  9. This. I think people grossly over look the fact that our intentions are pretty much never known and what rumors do get out there never seem accurate. Everything I have seen and read suggests Greg was their number 1 target entering the draft and even considered moving up for him but it was determined to be too costly. Beane said multiple times after the draft that they went him zeroed in on improving the pass rush. Draft day footage of days 1 and 2 show them anxiously awaiting both Greg and Boogie to get to them. IMHO the interest in Etinenne definitely has a possibility to have been a smoke screen. Smoke screen potentially could get a team to trade up in front of you to get said player, but also prevents a team behind you to try and get in front of you for the player you really want if they don’t think you’re interested. Best way to disguise a smoke screen is to legit meet with and express interest directly to the player and let them leak that out. This year, Bills have met with all the top WR’s and Hall. They have met with very little other first round potential targets. Makes me wonder if our primary won’t be offense in the first and likely a defensive back such as Hamilton, Hill, Stingley, Booth, etc all depending on if we stand pat or move up. That being said, the one known proven thing about Beane is that he will stay true to his board and go BPA. So if the guys they hope will be there are gone, he won’t reach for another at the same position. So obviously anything is in play at 25, especially given how hard to predict this years draft is given the lack of QB clarity on where they will go and how many will go ahead of our pick.
  10. More information clearly showing that Edmunds is not remotely close to the bad player half this board screams that he is. I have said it 100 times now, the vast majority of what fans here hate about Edmunds has less to do with Edmunds the player as it does with how we use Edmunds a lot of the time. Which is often like a 3rd shallow safety out there utilizing and trusting his athleticism to get back to the ball after dropping back on the snap. Edmunds is also 5th in total tackles since entering the NFL, and thats taking into consideration he played hurt most of 2020.
  11. If we trade up to 7, I don't envision us holding onto our 2nd rounder this year in the process. Its going to cost a lot to go from 25 to 7. Would love to get Sauce, but I don't envision Beane paying what it will take to get to 7 or anywhere inside the top 10. I think our sweetspot for a trade up doesn't begin until probably Houstons second first round pick at 13 personally. But that could be a spot they go after Sauce or Stingley if either slides out of the top 10.
  12. Thanks again for a great draft @Virgil You da man!
  13. I think he has off the ball LB potential with his athleticism at the next level too though. And with how we use Edmunds he could slide into there until they brought in a more traditional MLB.
  14. Yeah I wouldn’t hate it, no rush for him to get on the field either and with his athleticism would be a great Edmunds replacement if we don’t resign him
  15. While I think Ojabo still has a good shot at being taken by Baltimore at 14, if he is still on the board at 25 I do wonder if Beane could pull the trigger if he stays BPA.
  16. Well with a first round pick, we are taking a gamble on a rookie starter in most cases. So, taking a guy who is graded in the top 3 overall in this draft at 19 is a pretty good way to start.
  17. Yeah SoFi is crazy expensive, parking starts at $80 even. It’s an amazing stadium though, but still it’s just so expensive.
  18. I have a friend who lives about 15 min walking from the stadium who suggested to just park in his driveway and walk over. He has season tickets to the Rams so he will be going anyway, so I will prob just park there and save the money and walk to the game from there.
  19. With the 24th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys take: Nakobe Dean, LB Georgia After sprinting to the podium, we are ecstatic to land the leader of the dominant Georgia defense here to come into our ascending defense. We gave strong consideration to Linderbaum here, but only if Dean was off the board. I mean we are the Dallas Cowboys and we don't do boring and landed what we believe to be the best LB in this draft. We are salivating about the thought of Dean and Parsons paired up on the field and wreaking havoc for years to come. Having Dean out there with Parsons will allow us to line Parsons up in multiple spots as well to keep the opponents frustrated and guessing. We see him as the perfect addition to our team and defense. Now on the clock is @MrEpsYtownand the New Orleans Saints with the 25th pick after making a trade earlier with the Buffalo Bills.
  20. All good brother, and I get your thinking and I think LT and WR are definitely higher up on their targets too. I just think if Hamilton slides to 19 he is everyones BPA on the board. And Poyer is a great safety, the only reason I don't think he is realistic to the Saints without getting extra draft compensation in this particular scenario is that he is 31 and on last year of his deal. So I think the Saints won't see value there because they cant afford to pay him and with them not really be close to a SB run at the moment, there isn't a lot of incentive to pay him with their cap issues. So he would likely be a one year and done player who leaves in FA in this particular scenario. Now Poyer could have a lot of trade value to a team in contention that needs a safety, I just think the Saints situation would dictate they just take Hamilton there unless we gave them a draft pick too that they desired. Adding a draft pick there I think makes the deal more realistic, although I still think they stay put and take Hamilton most likely just given the immense value of getting Hamilton at 19 vs where he is projected to go near or in the top 10. Either way, if this trade was real, it would be a great outcome for the Bills to get one of the best players in the draft at 19 and keeping their next picks too.
  21. Im stunned that there are people not on board with the value of getting Hamilton at 19, and without giving up any extra picks. Truthfully, zero percent chance Saints make this trade in real life. They need a Safety, they are not going to trade us Hamilton for Poyer without getting extra picks because they have cap issues. So why pay a 31 year old Safety money they cant afford vs taking what is regarded as a top 3 talent in this draft overall that they can have cheap for the next 4 or 5 years? Saints would sprint to the podium if Hamilton is there at 19. That being said, the trade laid out here would be a massive home run for the Bills. Get the best safety in the draft without having to give up extra picks and have him here under a cheap deal for 4 to 5 years would be too good for Beane to pass up. And I love Poyer and want him to stay, but this is a no brainer slam dunk if we could trade Poyer and 25 to get to take Hamilton.
  22. This. This is an OLD Bills pick.."high motor" guy with unimpressive stats and unimpressive athleticism. I would hate this pick.
