  1. I like your take here, I think the same really. I mean look at the changes we have made overall Brought in a close on the edge in Von Miller Beefed up the interior DL with guys who are good against the run and guys who can penetrate from the middle Added size and speed on the outside in Elam Those moves alone definitely send a statement of being more aggressive on the field. They added those pieces to what was already the #1 ranked defense last year. Then you look at this kid Bernard, and see how he flies around the field, his leadership, his range as a LB and how he can get skinny and get into backfield. Feels like a fun tool they can rotate in and just keep creating new ways to wreak havoc. McD being a defensive minded coach is not someone I imagine sits well with that 13 seconds and OT performance by the Defense.
  2. Nice, you’re gonna love it, I was there for the first time last year at the home opener against Pittsburgh!!! Had an amazing time and loved meeting fellow TSW members!
  3. Im not including the playoffs though. It’s 2021, 2022, and 2023 regular season at KC. That is what I am saying should not be allowed. 3 consecutive regular season games where we are their home, and also in 3 consecutive years.
  4. I certainly think Cook was probably the primary target, but you can hear Beane say he didnt want to go to far because you never know when a run on your guys will start. So, given they moved down twice, small moves, but still twice...I think there were multiple guys they would be happy taking still on the board. But, I do think based on offseason movement that Cook was probably the BPA and the guy they would have taken even if not trading back. They clearly set a premium on getting a receiving threat out of the back field, and no way Duke Johnson signing satisfied that desire. Duke was probably a fall back plan to have on the roster if they didn't get the chance to get on in the draft. I doubt Duke makes this roster now though. I am actually quite excited about that pick. Admittedly didn't know a lot about him prior to us picking him, but everything I have seen and read on him has me quite excited to see how he is used here. I loved what Beane said about him in the Embedded video too and how he gets skinny to get in and get the QB too.
  5. I get that, just there should just be a rule that it can't happen in consecutive years with the same team traveling to the same opponent.
  6. I dont get how we would play at their stadium on the road 3 straight years. Aren't they supposed to at least alternate? I mean I get the playoffs are dictated by record, so cant do nothing about the last 3 straight there. But @KC last year, this year, and next year in the regular season is absurd. Given they knew we are on the road at KC in 2023, this years game should have certainly been in Buffalo. So Stupid.
  7. Apparently I should have been posting stuff like this on Twitter the way these other guys coming in later get followers hahaha But I wouldn't do it as don't want to risk my sources getting in trouble and don't need to feed my ego through Twitter, and don't even post anything on twitter really to begin with. And honestly, in my thread where I tipped everyone off a few weeks ago about the Week 1 Rams game and Noon Thanksgiving game at Detroit, I changed a key detail in each description out of respect for my sources to just be on the safe side. That way if for any reason it got discovered it wouldn't be obvious who it was, even though I figured it would probably not go any further than here anyway.
  8. Ah thanks. Still don’t find him credible
  9. Tell him that’s old news, I broke that story 3 weeks ago haha
  10. You da man! And ditto Thanks bud, and surprisingly did not really, but appreciate your post none the less. And I would never let any silly posts scare me off from sharing a future tip either. As far as the Ravens rumor goes, while possible, I still think its Lions personally because I at least know at some point it was Bills @ Lions. The Ravens rumor to me didn’t have any credibility and I don’t think it was accurate personally.
  11. I dont take it personally, I am not a fool, I know the exception Brady is, just an more than obvious example of how saying someone doesn't have elite talent before they stepped on a football field is premature and just a meaningless statement. Which is why I also pointed out to our very own rookie draft pick this year as well. So no offense, labeling his talent label based on his draft position, which is what you did in the post I responded to, should be suspended for a year
  12. Someone called this a few weeks ago 😎
  13. Final update before the official schedule release. My contact at the TV Network in Detroit asked his boss if it was still Bills @ Lions on thanksgiving and they said as far as they know, they have not been told otherwise and even said it was said to him (his boss) again last Friday. My friend who gave me the Rams season opener tip said she still hasn’t spoken to their original source again, but another well connected source ar SoFi said told them today they believe it’s Bills at Rams week one season opener too as that was what they heard around the building at SoFi. So despite these Ravens thanksgiving rumors, I’m sticking with Bills @ Rams to open the season and Bills @ Detroit at noon for thanksgiving as I originally posted until I hear otherwise on the release. GoBills!!!!!
  14. I was at that game. It wasn’t bad luck, it was a bad arm. He just didn’t have the arm strength and it’s a major limitation. I would actually take EJ over Peterman. That ain’t saying much though.
  15. No disrespect, literally has no relevance of any kind to Boogie or his potential.
  16. I think people put way too much into "draft slot" personally. He was graded as a late first to second round pick heading into the draft. I think the fundamental flaw in your post here is you said his draft slot doesn't indicate "elite talent" either. I think if you said he wasn't an elite prospect, as in top 10 or 15 guy it would be more accurate where those guys are seen as a higher success probability. But there are plenty of guys who go outside the top 15, outside the first round, even mid rounds who have elite talent potential, but there are just some other things that cause them to slide a bit. Sometimes, its because they have a low floor, or have some holes that need coached up. But, I wouldn't say a players drat slot indicates wether or not he has elite talent potential. Case in point...nothing about Brady coming out of college (especially coming off what I believe is still considered the worst combine performance for a QB in terms of athletic traits in history) was indicated he had elite ability, yet hes widely considered the GOAT now. Not saying by any means Boogie has that kind of potential, just saying I think its a false conclusion to base a players talent potential based on draft slot. Another example...Shakir this year...getting him in the 5th round, I do think he has elite talent potential where he could develop into one of the best slot WRs in football. So much about his tape reminds me of Kupp in how he uses his hands, controls his body, runs his routes etc. And he has some of Deebo or AJ Brown in him after the catch too where he runs with strength and agility. Doesn't mean he will, but I do think he has elite talent potential despite a 2nd/3rd round grade heading into draft and an actual 5th round draft selection.
  17. Good point about the run issues, that very well might have been a big factor
  18. Yeah it was weird how he just kind of lost snaps even after showing some real promise early, and I kept wondering if that had something to do with Groot starting on the opposite side. Like they wanted to get some vet presence more on the field with Groot. Then again, maybe he was losing ground in practice. I dont know, but he seemed like he was headed towards a heft snap count, but just didnt happen as the season progressed.
  19. I really like Boogie and his potential. I felt like he flashed some real potential last year despite limited reps. What is going to be interesting to me this camp is the battle for snaps between AJE and Boogie. Last camp, AJE was the talk of camp, but we still had Addison and Hughes, plus a first round pick in Groot who actually took over as a starter week 1. So it left AJE where he had been since getting here, in a backup rotation. Now with Mario and Hughes gone, I am really excited to see how our young guys play this camp in Groot, AJE, and Boogie. One thing I want to point out about AJE is that its too early to write him off like some around here have been. Colts wrote off Hughes, and that was a terrible mistake. So, I am for one excited to see this battle of the two guys probably getting over looked the most by fans in AJE and Boogie. I feel like one, or maybe even both, could surprise this year if they can prove they deserve more snaps.
  20. Thanks for the vote of confidence, but keep in mind I got that tip like 3 or 4 weeks ago too. Not out of the question more changes came up since then. But I mean it came directly out the TV Network in Detroit from the sports marketing department. So given his boss is the one who informed their team there, I would say it was at least at that time what was scheduled. I did check in with him on Monday and he had not heard anything new since then, meaning nothing about the Lions thanksgiving game had been brought up again since that day. So, he couldn't say if it changed or if its still Bills at noon.
  21. Yeah I think your exercise you did was fun, so wasn't trying to be rude towards your thread when I said it wasn't that close. I was more pointing out just how off base the forum was given its the forum here who submitted the votes and built the list. What I think your thread better showcased is that TSW does not know remotely close to what these front office professionals know when it comes to evaluating and ranking players. While that seems like common sense knowledge, you wouldn't know it when you see the amount of melt downs people have on here about certain players before, during, and after the draft. Based on who should go where, who we took vs who they thought we would take, what we used in the trade up, etc etc. And every team can vary dramatically from the next because its not just about grading a player, its about how that player would grade out in their specific system and plans. Also, it comes down to what traits they covet over others. Some teams fall in love with athletic gift, others covet fundamentals and technique, etc etc. All the internet, sports talking heads, media mock drafts, etc are mostly worthless and inaccurate outside the early picks. Their sole value really is to help fans get more familiar with what players are out there, not necessarily where they will go or when.
  22. No offense, but the guy they chose didn’t even make the list of your top 14 choices. And 4 guys you had between 3 and 9 were not the pick even though they were on the board. So not sure I would say this was “pretty close”.
  23. I’m not putting much stock in this, this guy doesn’t have any credibility and no one else picked up this leak. All the other leaks were picked up by credible sources.
  24. Where did you see the Bills had 4 CBs with first round grades? Got a link?
