  1. I don't think that is necessarily the case though. I mean if Beane loves Robinson, then signing a RB to a 1 year deal IMHO would not take Robinson off their board at 27. The reality though is that Bijan is almost certainly going to be gone by 27 though, so I don't think it's a decision Beane and the Bills will face. Once he ran a good 40 and removed any break away speed doubts, any chance he could slide to 27 was all but eliminated. He has a chance to go within the first 10 picks, and has very little chance of reaching us at 27 IMHO.
  2. I think its plausible Beane could move down this year, but unfortunately for us, not sure the draft is strong enough to attract a trade up partner for any significant compensation. But I like the thread topic, and I think the scenario you posted where we traded back and got an extra 2nd and moved up from our 3rd to another 2nd would be a big win. And I don't think anyone would be upset if we used those 3 picks on 2 OL and a LB. Not sure who would be there to entice Seattle, but I would really like this trade. Who we draft would obviously depend on who was on the board, but just getting the extra 2nd and trading up our 3rd into another 2nd would be a nice haul. I think when we got to our 4th round pick we would more likely go RB there to groom behind one year of Harris.
  3. I am very good with this. Think drafting someone in the mid rounds is still a possibility, but this is a good addition to the team this season.
  4. The fact you just called JuJu a 1B WR says everything. He is not a 1B WR, which implies he is a legit #1 WR in which JuJu has proven he is not a quality #1 WR and has never had a 1,000 yard season as a #1 WR on any team, not even in KC with the reigning MVP and SB MVP Mahomes. LMAO at your forgetful memory here...you said most teams are investing first round picks and 2-3rd round picks every year...not only is that not true, but the Bills have actually done that. We invested a first (and a 4th) into Diggs a #1 WR...we drafted Knox (who has been a big TD producer) with a 3rd who we just extended long term, used a 4th on Davis who is our starting #2 WR...all in the last 3 years. You say Philly and Cincy...Bills finished 2022 with #2 Offense in the NFL ahead of BOTH Philly and Cincy and behind only KC, who has never drafted a first round WR in the Reid era. In fact, since 2020, Buffalo has never finished lower than 3rd offensively in the NFL, and always ahead of both Cincy and Philly, and even KC in 2020 and 2021. So yeah, this whole we must have a 1B WR is nonsense. Basically, we are doing what you are asking by spending a 1st, 3rd, and 2 4th round picks on what was a #1 WR, #2 WR, and a starting TE who just got extended...all over the past 3 years. Yet you complain we aren't. LOL
  5. Weak argument. And JuJu is not a 1B by any means, so your point on Kelce is totally irrelevant to the posters comment I responded to asking why don’t we get to have a 1B WR. KC just won the SB without a 1B WR as they absolutely do not have a 1B WR on that team to Kelce. JuJu is a decent #2 WR but he stinks as a WR1 and has proven that on the field.
  6. Didn’t realize Cincy and Philly won the SB. Because if memory serves me it was KC who won and didn’t have a 1A let alone a 1B at WR. But to answer your question…Cincy has a 1B WR because their QB, WR1, and WR2 are ALL on rookie contracts. Philly has a 1B WR because their QB and WR 1B are on rookie contracts. Bottom line is you don’t need to have a 1B at WR, and most teams don’t unless they have a rookie contract at QB and hit on at least one of the WRs at 1A or 1B through the draft. It still amazes me how anyone can still not understand this.
  7. I don’t know a ton about him, but all my friends who are Dolphin fans are not happy he landed here and said we are gonna love him. So be interesting to see how he fits in.
  8. I was only addressing someones comment who said they would not be interested solely over character concerns. And I said that is not accurate considering they have twice looked into bringing him here. Whether or not he is the type of back now they are looking for is a different question. But I still think he is better than what Zeke is right now. Hunt is still only 27 and has a lot less wear and tear on him.
  9. Except they have expressed interest in Hunt before, twice actually. So I don't think that is the case
  10. Lemme guess, you read some sleeper article, saw his name on there, and came and tried to regurgitate the same info here to appear like you have this great insight. Stop mentioning Pacheco. For every 1 of him, there are a 1000 nobodies. And you act like Pacheco carried them to a SB lol. Second, it’s substantially easier to find a late round RB to contribute in a rotation than a MLB who starts and plays most the game who is the QB of the defense.
  11. One maybe, but two is fantasy from a cap perspective. I’d try and go get Hopkins and just draft a RB or sign Hunt.
  12. Hunt >>>> Fournette
  13. What about when he bobbled passes that turned into INTs? What about when he dropped passes? What about when he ran bad routes in the endzone? Love McKenzie as the person, energy and personality. I will miss that part of him on the team and wish him the absolute best in his next stop. But as a WR he just wasn’t very good. He has gadget value, but I won’t miss them trying to make him a bigger part of the offense. Our offense got better today by giving his snaps to someone else who can do more with them.
  14. Give me Foreman, he’s been high on my list all off-season.
  15. And then I commented back...and then you commented back again...and then I commented back...and then you commented back again. Convenient how you continuously leave all substance out of each or your replys though. This is the weirdest rabbit hole to be taken down over Bass lol
  16. Oh come on bud, you can't be seriously still talking about this lol. That is the only sentence in a long post about Beane that Bass is even mentioned...are you so desperate to discredit Beane or something that you want to nit pick this bad? Secondly, show me anything in that sentence that isn't true. Bass has been a key player since he got here when he broke the Bills franchise single season scoring record as a rookie and is already 8th in Bills history in scoring after 3 seasons here. He has been an excellent player and pick for us, so its so absurd that you take exception him being mentioned along with Diggs and Davis joining the team in the same season. If you don't think the team has benefited from Bass being a part of it, then I don't know what tell you. You make it sound like I made this big case for Bass, I literally mentioned him in a blurb of guys who have been a big part of our scoring as a top 3 offense in the NFL the past 3 years.
  17. This is interesting if true. Wonder if they mean working the phones to available free agents. Guys like Hunt and Foreman stick out as the likely candidates if they are. Or are they working the phones for one of the top guys rumored to be available via trade such as Henry, Ekeler, Chubb, or Dalvin. Given the phrasing "high level" RB, think that would lean more towards one of the guys available for trade. Be interesting to see what they do at RB in terms of resolving that position prior to the draft and looking to land one in the draft.
  18. Huh? Where did I set a low bar? I literally mentioned him among several guys who joined the team in 2020 and for some reason you want to single him out and take exception to his inclusion on a list. Have no idea why you keep bringing him up, he was like one word in a multi-paragraph post about Beane's accomplishments. So consistently fielding a top 3 offense and defense along with a top ST unit is now just a decent job?
  19. Yes Bass. He was drafted that year and has been a very good kicker and retained player for us. Unless you don't think our kicker has not contributed points to our top 3 offense the past 3 seasons he has been here. He has been an excellent draft pick by Beane, I don't think anyone could argue against that. And the year he was drafted we also added Diggs and Davis. So not sure what you are questioning about Bass TBH.
  20. Lol, ok that meme is funny, but Chark isn't quite that bad. Im not saying to replace Davis, just to be another guy who can stretch the field. He was 6th in the NFL last year in big play rate (catches over 20 yards) and has a better catch rate than Davis does and less drops.
  21. Says who? Vegas still has us as one of the favorites for the SB next year. We have been mostly top 3 in scoring offense and scoring defense the last 3 years, the only exception was defense in 2020. 2020: Offense 2nd, Defense 16th 2021: Offense 3rd, Defense 1st 2022: Offense 2nd, Defense 2nd You think you accomplish only because of one player in Josh Allen? In fact our offense was 23rd in 2019 with Josh Allen the year before Beane invested in the offense more and went and got 3 very important pieces to the offense in Diggs, Davis, and Bass. Not to mention, guys like Knox and Devin were continuing to grow and give good contributions to this team offensively, guys he also drafted. Beane 100% wiped the whole waste of space roster out, masterfully traded pieces away for far more than they were worth like getting the first pick in the 3rd round for Tyrod Taylor, getting a 2nd and solid CB for Watkins, trading Cordy Glenn to Bengas to get in position for the right QB, etc etc. And you think you have some case to take the credit away from Beane in how he took bad to middling team for nearly 20 years and completely turned the entire franchise around to where they field one of the top offenses, defenses, and special teams units perennially now and are a SB contending favorite every year. And why, because you think free agency is like Madden and he can just magically get any player you think he should go get but doesn't? Sorry, you are just completely out of whack on your analysis of Beane. Guess you forgot what it was like around here before we were fortunate enough to land him and McD to completely turn this franchise around and make it place players want to come play now and a place our current players want to stay.
  22. I would be good with this if we brought in Chark, he could be dangerous with Allen slinging him the rock
  23. Taylor to Chiefs is a downgrade, not significant, and they lost JuJu, Clark, and probably McKinnon...all significant players in their SB run last year. Ramsey to Miami is meh, they were not one CB away from being great and still have a massive question mark with Tua and his durability. They were on a 4 game losing streak with a healthy Tua last time he was on the field too. Brown to Bengals would be significant in a vacuum, but they lost a lot of players in the process, and the thing that helped them the most to get buy KC the year before and Buffalo this year in the playoffs was their defensive effort where they lost the most of their players. And they lost Perine and Mixon is a massive question mark right now with the off field issues. Rodgers to Jets is about the only real significant move that truly poses a significant upgrade (in theory) in their direct threat on us. But, there have been plenty of these moves like this with late stage QB's that don't work out as well as people think, so they still need to show it on the field. Not to mention, Rodgers is going to hate the NY media if its not going as perfectly as the Jets fans expect. The sky isn't falling is the moral of the story. You can't look at all these moves in a vacuum, there are a lot moving parts.
  24. No disrespect, but there is so much over exaggerated or even inaccurate in this post that I don't have the time to respond to it all. So just gonna casually walk by this one.
  25. Then why has his YPC significantly declined for the past 2 seasons? He went from 5.0 to 4.3 once his OL started declining.
