  1. Physically he is a freak, so I think that is something he could potentially handle. The bigger question is the hand eye reaction time and coordination, especially with how fast Josh Allen throws. For example, professional gamers are all young because as you get older they begin to struggle to see the higher frame rates. Give him a work out with Josh and see what he can do
  2. Give him a workout, put him on the PS if he does well. Don't see the harm. More so to just satisfy my curiosity...hahaha
  3. And you know this is what happened how? Can you provide the board with the results of your interviews of the witnesses, examining of all the evidence the police have, etc that led you to conclude he is guilty and its just being swept under the rug? You do realize it's entirely possible that an assault DID happen to this woman and that Araiza did NOT participate or have anything to do with it right?
  4. You literally could not be more wrong about the bolded. Everything that @Royale with Cheeseis telling you is spot on and the real facts. These bolded hot takes above are not a reflection of the reality of what was the first years of this regime.
  5. The coach who made the FUBAR as you put it is gone to Jax
  6. If Beane wants to keep Edmunds, he can make it work. There is no doubt he wants to. The question is can Edmunds and Beane find common ground where the deal is acceptable to Edmunds and works for the team. IMHO: We win the SB this year, the odds will increase that Edmunds is gone. One, he will have his trophy, so maxing out his ear INTs for his family probably would be a higher priority IMO. Two, with the Bills having that Lombardi, structuring for long term success and cap flexibility might be more attractive to Beane rather than cap manipulation and potential cap problems soon. So I think a SB victory might shift the landscape of Edmunds resigning here or not a little bit.
  7. Stay out of the shout box on game days then. At least 5+ people screaming for all the coaches and Beane to be fired first quarter if we aren’t winning the game yet.
  8. Sorry bud, I just disagree. I think if the defense can pile on a runner and try and stop his momentum, then it's fair game for the offensive players teammates to push him for further gain. I just don't think you can say its legal to have 4 defenders trying to slow progress and momentum, and then say it's not fair for that one single offensive player to not have any of his teammates try and counter that. Just my 2 cents. And like I previously mentioned, this play has more value to a team like us with big Josh Allen where sneaks on key downs is part of our weapon arsenal. So I personally would not want to take something away from our team that more likely benefits our current team on the field every Sunday more often than it does the opponents.
  9. I get where both of you are coming from, but I have to slightly disagree here. This is a league where QB's get paid. We all know that. But more importantly, Lamar has a huge disclaimer of not only having a poor cast around him on offense most of his career, but also having his best weapon shipped to AZ this offseason leaving his cupboard even more bare. Then there are the injuries all around the team on both sides of the ball in Balt and yet they are 8-4 still. Teams will look at what he has accomplished despite all those factors and still hand him a bag. And lets say its not as much guaranteed, but that doesn't mean he won't still take home as much money at the end of the day. For example if he signed a $200M contract fully guaranteed or signed a $200M contract with $140M of it guaranteed, he can still earn his full $200M just playing out his contract. End of the day though, whether he gets less, as much, or more than he might have been able to get in August, the amount he gets will still be a ton of money and he will be set for life.
  10. Forward progress is a different discussion though. That is a judgement call, and always will be. If defensive players can pile on to prevent forward progress on a single runner, why can't the offensive people pile on to help create more forward progress would be my question. Doesn't seem fair to say defenders can do it and the offense can't.
  11. No offense bud...But we cant change rules for every very specific what if scenario someone wants to paint that wouldn't go our way. We can do this for every rule in the book. Just like I can say back to you what happens when its the final play in the game and we are on the 1 foot line of the goal line and Josh does a QB sneek and gets a push from Gilliam and Knox that gets him over the line to win the SB. You going to say the Bills should have an asterisk and that not count? The reality is, with Josh Allen as our QB, this rule is substantially more likely to help us win games then hurt us. With his size and QB Sneak ability, this is something that has already happened and will continue to happen during Josh's career where he gets a push from behind on sneaks. Not sure why you want to take that away from this team if I am being honest. Fearing someone else could use it to seems like a bad reason to take it away when its much more likely to help us than someone else.
  12. Yes it should be allowed. There is no reason not to allow it IMHO, its a team sport, so teammates should be allowed to assist. I see a lot of people complain about this, but honestly I don't get why anyone would have an issue about this is a full contact and physical game like the NFL. More importantly, this would be almost impossible to regulate if they were to make this illegal. Those piles get crazy, and while we at home have the benefit of camera angles and cameras high above the pile of men, the refs on the ground do not. To expect them to catch these views in these big piles is an impossible task and so many incidents would be completely subject to interpretation when the piles are crowded. And Rugby is a substantially tougher sport and its legal there. We have already powder puffed up the NFL enough as it is. Let it be, its been this way all through football history, no reason to change it if you ask me.
  13. Josh won’t enter as a serious contender again unless he both throttles Miami and Cincy. He needs big games during big matchups to get the attention again.
  14. She’s not a big fan of Jimmy G, so she took it in stride. She wasn’t happy about it, but she was happy to see the team can still do it’s thing with or without him…at least this week
  15. My wife’s a Niners fan, so this was a fun day. I also did a parlay of Niners -4.5 and Cincy ML for a nice little bit today too
  16. If we go 4-2 in the division, that means we beat Miami. To tie them at 4-2 would mean Miami would need to win every other game on their schedule outside the Bills game, and we would need to lose to either Chicago or Bengals. Not likely to be a situation where we have same record and same divisional record. Possible, just not likely.
  17. Well obviously both is better, but if we are picking just one, KC is the only correct choice because that is the only option that 100% gives us complete control over our own destiny was my point.
  18. But if KC loses, we will control our own destiny. By winning out we would then get both #1 seed and divisional crown because that means Miami loses to us in the next game. If KC wins and Miami loses, yes we are back in first in our division, but we do not control our own destiny anymore for the number 1 seed. We both need to win out and still need KC to lose another game. We do not need Miami to lose this week for us to win our division because we still play them again. But, we 100% need KC to lose at least one more game before end of season and this is probably the best shot at that. So best answer here is KC.
  19. Thats not really fair though. To be clear, I’m personally undecided about what I think Beane will do, or even should do, with Edmunds. And that is primarily because we still don’t truly know what it will take to retain him. Many people thought there was no way we could retain Milano based on what people assumed it would cost, and then Beane and MIlano came to an agreement with better terms than expected as both sides wanted Milano to stay here. But back to your comment here, that’s just a single cherry picked example to paint a narrative, not evidence that it will always be a mistake. I’m pretty sure the Baltimore Ravens would argue that it wasn’t a mistake paying two top end LBs when it won them two Super Bowls in two tries. And just like the Carolina example, that doesn’t mean if you do pay two LBs like Ravens did you will win the SB either. Point is that there are many ways to win a SB, and there are many reasons when good teams do NOT win SB’s too. What it really comes down to is what is that players individual importance to that specific teams ability to win games, based on the overall makeup of the team. And in our case, we have seen how much our defense misses Edmunds when he is out, or even when he has had to play hurt. I suspect both McD and Beane will hold his individual value in high regard to this defense when it comes time to decide what to do. But that doesn’t mean the value they are willing to spend on him will be sufficient for what Edmunds and his agent are looking for either. It will be an interesting story to watch, and I think what happens to us this season will play a big role. I think if we win the SB this year the odds will increase Edmunds is gone. He will already have won his SB and will likely pursue top dollar then for his family. And Bills have already won the SB will be willing to pay less and position themselves better long term on the cap to keep window for more SB titles open longer.
  20. Our whole D shut down the noodle arm Mac Jones, hard to gauge Tre on this game. But none the less, he was good and as others pointed out played 61% of the snaps. Very encouraging next step for him, and look forward to seeing him more next week too.
  21. Totally agree it was nice seeing our RB's more involved. I do however think Devin needs and deserves some more touches. Cook is very promising, but his vision isn't there yet and doesn't play fast enough while also stumbling a lot. I feel like he often looks lost or in the wrong place on receptions too. Dont get me wrong, I like Cook and his potential and happy he is more involved. A lot of this is because he is a rookie and still learning the game. But he leaves so many yards on the field each week missing holes, missing cut back opportunities, and he goes down so easy. With Devin, the pile is always finishing forward, he is a tough runner. His vision and agility get 8-10 yards on plays that Cook gets stuffed on because he just runs right into a pile. When there is a good hole right in front of Cook, he can rip a nice run no doubt. But he often misses opportunities for bigger gains because he has not been very shifty and too slow to hit the hole. I posted in another thread the ratio I would like to see is Devin to be at 15-18 combined touches (running/receiving) and Cook at 10-12. Not every game may end up with our backs having this many touches amongst the 2 of them, but that kind of ratio between Devin and Cook I think is a good balance. Fun Fact: Coming into last nights game, Devin had the 2nd highest catch rate on the team behind only Knox. Better than Cook, Diggs, Davis, etc. And this has been true the past 2 seasons. People don't seem to realize Devin had quite a few receptions last season too. He has grown as a receiver, he isn't perfect, but he has out performed Cook in this department too.
  22. I totally agree. Rule should simply be this: (gonna specifically use the poyer INT) - When the player controls the ball with 2 feet cleanly established on the ground (and in bounds), it shall be ruled a catch unless the ball comes loose and makes any contact with the ground before regaining control. In the event, like Poyer, player has control with 2 feet in bound but ball moves when player hits ground, but the ball does NOT come in contact with the ground, it remains a catch. It is such a simple fix, but the NFL doesn't do things like common sense well.
