  1. Told y’all Bijan was never sniffing our pick at 27 and gonna probably go top 10.
  2. When I was the Texans, I took Stroud in version 2.0 at least haha
  3. Preach on brother! 💯
  4. Problem is 8 of them are in rounds 5, 6, and 7. So while they have some ammo, those picks don't have a ton of value, so any big moves wouldn't work. Rams need too much help. For example, to move up from 36 to 27 would be about 140 points in pick compensation. Both their 3rd rounders are worth over 200 points each, so if they included their 3rd we would have to send back our 4th rounder to make it work. Those picks in rounds 5, 6, and 7 don't carry a lot of value on the draft pick charts. So I think they might get more active in the mid rounds though to make some small moves.
  5. This is a hard year to find a trade down partner for 2 reasons...the draft is pretty much universally seen as weak overall and secondly, because of that it makes the first round really difficult to predict who might be on the board still. I like the idea of the Saints, but I don't think Mayer or Kincaid make it to our pick, and I can't see Saints trading up for any of the other TE's. They could stay at 29 and still get an equivalent TE prospect. Mayer and Kincaid are the two guys worth making that trade up for, but I think there is very little chance those two make it to us at 27 with the number of TE needy teams ahead of us. But if Kincaid or Mayer do last to us, then I think that creates a good trade back scenario for us as I can see teams wanting to move up for one of them. Personally, I think it is more likely we find a trade partner in the 2nd who wants to get their guy and also get that 5th year option.
  6. First 5 picks in order with team: Bryce Young (Carolina), Will Anderson (Houston), CJ Stroud (Titans via trade), Will Levis (Indy), Jalen Carter (Seattle) # Trades round 1: Four trades Bills trade up, back, or stay put: Bills stay put at 27 Will DHop be traded today: Yes, to the Bills Who will the Bills pick: LT, Anton Harrison How many RB's go in round 1: Two How many QB's go in round 1: Four Will ESPN cut to commercial if/when the Bills make their pick: No Who will be the biggest reach pick of the draft: QB, Hendon Hooker Which College will have the most players selected in the first round: Alabama
  7. I don't disagree, but I don't think that happens for another couple years and would be more in the form of an extension probably.
  8. Pretty on par with what I think was expected. Josh is 7th on the list now, but after Burrow and Herbert Allen will be almost out of the top 10 in most expensive. Just an absolute bargain Josh Allens contract is now for who is arguably the 2nd best player in the NFL.
  9. Baltimore isnt going to trade their first in a trade for Hopkins, they have big needs, especially at CB and they have a great shot at great corner with their pick. So them swapping their first is not gonna happen IMHO
  10. Well considering Pac-Mans source is obviously Hopkins, and he has multiple times listed Ravens in play, I think that clearly indicated the Ravens are a legit option. But with the severe need for a CB for the Ravens, I doubt their first round pick would be included into a trade given the CB's that should be on the board when they would pick in the first.
  11. At least we know todays Ravens buzz was about Lamar resigning instead of Hopkins. Of course, Hopkins could still end up there, but at least the good news coming for Ravens fans was about Lamar
  12. Just curious why you think they would take Mazi over Jordan Addison at 27 given how many times they have met with Addison now. IMHO Addison is the one player they have shown the most interest in and would definitely be the pick if he’s there.
  13. Oh sorry, read on my phone without glasses hahaha, getting old sucks haha. Thought it said or one of the other other defensive tackles. My bad
  14. Typo here, you got Anton as a defensive tackle instead of OT. I think the plan is to get Addison and if they don’t feel they can, that is when pulling trigger on Hopkins becomes a higher chance of happening IMHO.
  15. Spot on…But your one mistake was taking the time to write it and posting it here on TSW cuz the inbound rage from a certain collection of posters is inevitable 😂
  16. I think Mayer will be the first TE off the board personally and I don't think he will get past the Chargers, and if he does, certainly not past the Cowboys.
  17. No disrespect, but a lot of what you wrote below is inaccurate of just badly exaggerated and skewed. Hopkins was on pace this year 120 rec and 1400 despite catching passes in half his games from an ancient 2nd string QB on his last leg and a bum 3rd string QB. Hopkins is only 6 months older than Diggs, so I don't see age being a grave concern. And "started getting injured" is just a misleading statement. He had one injury, so no need to try and exaggerate that to sound like it was a string of injuries. In fact, prior to that injury, Hopkins only missed a total of 2 games his entire career. Come on...you already know that is because of a suspension. No disagreement on the value of having a great slot guy. I personally still like Shakirs potential, but I would not at all be upset if we took someone like Downs for example to come in and challenge for that slot spot. Davis in his 3 year career has just three 100 yard games...three total over 3 years...while playing in the number 2 offense (2nd only to KC by just 10 points) over that 3 year span and in a high volume pass attack. Hopkins has 9 during the same 3 year period and that is with Hopkins missing 19 games over that span. No disrespect, but Davis and Hopkins are not remotely on the same level of WR, its not even close. Hopkins has been one of the best, and at times the best, WR in football most of his career. Davis has been a good WR3 and a subpar WR2 so far.
  18. Anton is probably the 2nd best pass blocker in the draft, so I think he can compete with Brown and probably even over take him. And if not, Anton gives us good depth as a swing tackle this year as well or insurance against Brown's injuries. The area Anton has shown promise at but still needs to improve is run blocking, but we are going to remain a high volume pass attack, so getting one of the best pass blockers in the draft would definitely help the OL. There is also always the possibility of kicking him inside to guard too if Brown comes back strong. Its just a big risk to enter the season trusting that Brown finally puts it all together this year. He has shown promise as a rookie, but even that wasn't a "great" season and last year was a disaster for him.
  19. Gabe isn't a good route runner and has a limited route tree
  20. He’s actually a pretty precise route runner. Not sure why some think he isn’t. Biggest question marks are his hands as he had some drops and doesn’t always play up to his size the way you would think for contested balls. But route running is one of his strengths.
  21. He was that good before injuries. Draft can’t predict injuries
  22. I think its time to update the mock because the draft is tomorrow as it is...there is a clear winner here in the poll
  23. Like I said, I am pretty sure its about Booker closing out the Clippers yesterday, they are good friends.
  24. The tweet from OBJ I think is about Devin Booker who he’s boys with and frequently at Suns games. Suns bounced the Clippers last night from playoffs, hence “BOOOOOKUMMM” tweet. But people assuming it must mean either Lamar signed or Hopkins is coming…or both.
