  1. Not kidding at all. Bortles is absolutely atrocious at times. For example, the game against the Bills in the playoffs.
  2. I think an RS3 or RS4, if they ever sell them here again, are pretty high on my list of next car to get down the road. I had a tuned A4 S-Line a few years back, loved it, but too many miles on it and had to get rid of it.
  3. I don't get Mendalla effects very often. Berenstein Bears is the only one I have that is common. However, I do often get cases of deja vu even though I know for a fact it is the first time I have experienced that, well, experience. That is what really creeps me out.
  4. Kessler is an improvement over Bortles IMO. I actually liked him coming out. Very accurate passer. Don't let his experience with the Browns fool you completely. He can become something...maybe...possibly...but probably not at this point.
  5. See, this is what I mean about people having no clue. If you actually watched Cardale's games you would see a ton of inaccurate throws. There were deep balls to wide open guys under thrown by 10 yards, they were just so wide open they caught them still, or they would jump over the DB and catch it after they caught up. On short throws he would almost never hit a guy in stride. They would be high, behind them, or misses completely. Again, some would be caught, but still inaccurate. Finally, these teams were all stacking the box to stop Elliot and the running game, not protecting against the passing game, so guys were wide open all over the field. Completion percentage does not tell the whole story. Not even close.
  6. Cardale's accuracy issues were glaringly obvious if you actually paid attention to that Big10 Title run and National Championship run. His accuracy, or lack thereof, makes Josh Allen look like Drew Brees. Thus, the 4th round pick vs a probable 1st rounder, maybe even top 5.
  7. I remember when people on this board were saying Cardale would be the #1 overall pick after he won the National Championship. So funny. Just goes to show you how little a lot of people know about college QBs around here.
  8. Nice write up my man. As you may recall I was on the Mayfield train last year and I remember us both saying that we can't understand why he was getting a round 3-4 grade going into this season. Hitting a little vaca time next week so I'm planning on digging into QBs more at that point, but here is where I stand right now. 1. Darnold - I think his turnovers can be cleaned up. He makes some amazing throws, throws into tight windows, willing to take chances...which hurts him sometimes. I think this can be improved easier than accuracy issues. It's not that his throws are off, it's that he believes in his ability too much sometimes. I also think this is a guy teammates can and will rally around. Hit % - 60% 2. Mayfield - Underrated arm, great accuracy, good mobility, total "it" factor for Buffalo fans. Buffalo would love this guys attitude I think. Need to show that attitude at the right time though. Planting the flag against OSU...awesome, grabbing crotch against at team like Kansas...not so cool. Hit % - 50% 3. Rosen - He is a feast or famine type guy to me. I can see the Rodgers comparisons for sure, but I can also see him causing rifts with teammates and fans, and if he doesn't perform early, I can see him fading fast. Watched him a few times, never did I think, wow, this guy has it. Need to watch more of him though. Hit % 40% 4. Jackson - Criminally underrated arm. Made tremendous strides from last season to this season in his footwork, pocket awareness, and decision making. This kid knows his flaws and is willing to work tirelessly to fix them. I disagree that staying in college would have been beneficial. He needs NFL quality QB coaching now, not another year of subpar college positional development. His athleticism is game changing if he can learn to slide and run out of bounds instead of taking the hits. Love his attitude, leadership, demeanor, but he is one ugly mofo. Hit % - 35% 5. Allen - Cannon arm, but I'm sorry, I do see accuracy issues...a lot of them. I do think this can be improved...but only to a certain extent. Guys don't improve their completion % 10 or 15 points going into the NFL, just doesn't happen. Maybe 5%, but that only takes him to low 60s. I want mid 60s at a minimum and I don't see it from him. Hit % - 25% 6. Rudolph - I barely watched him at all, but from what I was all I could think of was Zach Mettenberger. A nice arm, but stats inflated by having 2 quality NFL receivers on his squad, the offense they run, and in Rudolph's case he was going up against Big12 defenses who are not known for their quality. Hit % - 20%.
  9. Jackson is criminally underrated. I'd love to have him. More so than Rosen and Allen. But I prefer Mayfield and Darnold first. Then Lamar.
  10. Jacksonville has the best 2 CB combo and drafting anyone in this draft is not going to change that.
  11. I could agree with you, but then we would both be wrong. Peace.
  12. You don't put the comma inside the quotations in this instance. " "there", " is what you are looking for. You should really only put them inside if it is actually part of the quote, but periods have become accepted practice even if they are not part of the quote. Just saying, if you are going to rip someone for grammar, you should make sure yours is on point.
  13. More accurately. "Perfect. I don't care if it rains. I'm trying to go #1 overall and they play in Cleveland."
  14. Maybe we should start discussing HS QBs too while we are at it. Good grief.
  15. I was looking into the Tesla Model 3 for a minute, but who wants to wait over a year for a car? And, i don't like the sound of electric.
  16. GT? Looks like a 5.0 badge, right? Who would want to drive a non-GT Mustang anyway, so I'm assuming it is.
  17. That's a pimpin' SUV. That truck is sweet.
  18. Always wanted to drive a Cooper but haven't had a chance yet (outside of playing some Forza). Have heard they are really fun.
  19. Well, I just had this car's brother before. GMC Terrain. Had it for only 4 months. Just am not an SUV guy at all.
  20. Wondering who the car people are around here and what cool cars people have. Last week I bought a 2018 BMW M240xi and it is nothing short of amazing. 0-60 in 4.2 stock. I will eventually get a performance tune and probably upgrade the exhaust, but I don't need to do anything yet because it is so fast already. So, when I'm starting to get bored, then I'll bump it up. This car just begs to be driven fast and it's so smooth and small enough to be quite nimble. By far the best car I have owned yet and one of the fastest I have ever been in. The fastest? An Ariel Atom, and nothing is even close. Now that thing will scare the crap out of you if driven right! I'll post a pic after I get the windows tinted tomorrow. So what you got?
  21. I agree with this. Rosen doesn't do a thing for me at all.
  22. You are going to feel pretty stupid if you ever revisit this post a few years down the road.
  23. Preston Brown is not good. Constantly blown up by blockers. Constantly attacking the wrong gaps. Constantly left in the dust in man coverage, so much so that they stopped even trying putting him in man. Constantly standing in a zone that doesn't have a guy within a 10 yard radius of him (and I actually paused the DVR a couple times and saw this with no one within 20 yards, 20!!!) instead of adjusting his coverage. Is some of that taught? Perhaps. While I do think he would be a good depth guy, I would not pay him starting LB money. Leading the league in tackles is such a garbage stat. Especially when it includes assists. Most of his tackles were at least 5 yards past the LOS or just cleaning up other guys work. That is not what a MLB should be doing. There is a reason no one is jumping all over this guy.
  24. I keep seeing Baker Mayfield and DUIs being posted over and over again. Mayfield never had a DUI. He was drunk in public. Completely different animal. Great post though. Not surprising at all why he was appealing to Beane and McD. What a bargain at $5M per year while the other guys are getting $10+ even $20+M deals. AJ will get an honest, open shot to start here. I have no doubt that McD is going to play the best player, regardless of their salary or draft pedigree. AJ just has to show he's the best on the field now too.
