  1. Yeah, we know you've said it. You've said it about 1,000 times in every single thread. Hell, you are probably saying on other teams boards as well. Don't you get sick of saying the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again? I know I get sick of reading it.
  2. I would argue the throwing motion of the QB is more violent for the elbow than it is for a baseball pitcher. The reason you don't see as many issues with QBs is that they don't throw nearly as much as a MLB pitcher. QBs are throwing 20-35 times a game once a week. Baseball (starters at least) are throwing 100 pitches every 5 days. Plus all the catch they are playing, bullpen sessions etc. Yes, QBs practice too, but I would assume they don't throw as much during the week either. Dr. Andrews has been clear that UCL issues arise out of too many throws without enough downtime in the year (that is why he recommends pitchers not throw at all for at least 3 or 4 months out of the year, in order to heal the UCL damage from the course of the year). The train wreck of making the playoffs for the fist time in 17 years in their first season? Cool story bro.
  3. Can we please, maybe, possibly give Allen until at least his second season in the league before we proclaim him a bust? My lord people. His support is horrendous. He was raw coming out of college. What the hell do you people expect? We have a less than average offensive line. We don't have a #1 or #2 quality WR on this roster. And we have to have among the highest number of drops in the league. Talk to me about Allen's shortcomings this time next year and then I'll listen.
  4. If this dude walks after his rookie deal a la Gilmore, Winfield, Clements, and pretty much any good corner we've had, I will be pretty disappointed with the front office. He is legit as legit gets.
  5. Go watch ANY QBs all22 from ANY week and you'll see them miss wide open guys. Unless you mean miss them accuracy wise, that certainly is not as common.
  6. Fitzgerald had over 100 receptions and 1,000 yards the last 3 seasons in a row. Jerry Rice had three 1,000 receiving yard seasons and 3 more 800+ yard seasons when he was playing at an older age than Larry is today. Get a clue buddy.
  7. Uh...Arizona has one of the best WRs in the history of the league and the rookie WR we were trying to trade up for in the draft in the second round. We don't have a #1 or #2 receiver on this roster.
  8. ACL. Never got it fixed so I am super cautious about it now. This was 17 years ago. It has probably given out 4 or 5 more times since then when I stepped wrong or slipped on something. When that happens it is so painful that I get nauseous and almost vomit and start sweating profusely. Funny thing is, when it happened the first time it didn't really hurt that bad...until the next day when the swelling really kicked in. That was a B.
  9. It's in pretty much any male animals DNA to reproduce with as many females as possible to spread their genes and keep the species going. Goes back to survival of the fittest. Survival of the species depends on it. Humans are animals. It's really that simple. Modern convention is the only thing that makes it wrong. Show me a man who doesn't instantaneously decide if he would or would not want to have sex with any female he sees and I'll show you a liar.
  10. Quite simply it is idiotic to give up resources for a backup QB. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Foles, yeah, yeah, yeah. Just because it works out once, doesn't mean its the right thing to do always.
  11. He may not be "done", but him living up to the expectations that he once had may very well be done.
  12. That has to do with Labor Unions and requirements to join them. Not at all the same topic as "just cause" states vs "employment at will" states. Trust me, I have 6 years of education on this.
  13. I never bet on a spread over 10 points in the NFL. Never. I would have done it with the money line though.
  14. Would I? Definitely if he really made the team better and I was trying to win now.
  15. I could not care less if we sign him or Colin or anyone. I'm just telling you the fact of what the law is my friend.
  16. That is only true in some states. Most states, these days, are known as "just cause" states or have other exceptions where you can't get fired for things like that any longer. "Employment at Will" states as you describe are becoming more and more sparse.
  17. There is no Constitutional right of freedom of speech in the workplace. It is well settled Constitutional law that it is not protected. FYI. And you obviously have no legal training whatsoever, so please move along.
  18. That's probably a vast exaggeration. But I'm sure there have been some. I've always said it should be preponderance of the evidence for Civil, without a reasonable doubt for Criminal, and no f'n way it could be anything other than this person for Death. It just needs to have a higher burden of proof in other words.
  19. What was funny is that the announcers had no idea this was the case until the rules guy came on and told them. I was screaming, hey idiots, it doesn't matter if he lost he ball before he went out or not, he clearly touched it while out, end of story. How do they hire such idiots in the booth?
  20. Pay off any and all debts, invest the rest, retire by 50 at the latest.
  21. I prefer "The Bear" but I like where your heads at. By far the best 3 Stones albums when he was in the group IMO. My all-time favorite solo. Duane coming in at 1:08 and then Dickey at 2:39. Now, Dickey Betts is great for sure, but to me he just didn't compare to the smoothness of Duane and I can certainly hear a big time difference just in this song alone. Duane's last song with them and also the first song Dickey sang. Quite the historic song. And this is pretty sick too. Another one who died way too soon, Mike Bloomfield.
  22. Couldn't win a game where his defense gave him 6 turnovers to work with. That's embarrassing.
  23. Landry Jones signed with the 0-16 Browns this off-season. Puh-lease.
