Honestly, this place changed when the other Forum shut down years ago and the users came over here.

It's almost like it's an addiction and they cannot help it or something.

Very cool, I had no idea they did that to the markers. I've only been to Bushnell... it was beautiful. Someday hope to visit Arlington.
I made Arlington one Memorial Day weekend. It was awe inspiring to say the least.

Sorry for your loss. Lost my cat a few years back and never really started feeling better until I got another pet, this time a puppy. Still miss him a lot, but the new puppy (now dog) really helped me move on.

The last two seasons our bye week has come week seven both years. So no, it’s not exactly way too early. It could happen.Yeah, but this time we get a choice. Teams in international games get a choice as to whether they want the bye after or not. All we have to do is say "no thanks" and we get one later.
-
No way we are taking bye week 6. Way too early.

So we play every good team except the 49ers, some twice. KC, PHI, and CIN away. Lose a home game to London w/ Jacksonville. Cool, cool. Who was that guy talking about the Bills win total being an easy win?

Funny, I have found this place pretty unbearable since the playoff loss. Guess that's just me.

Horrible. Anyone with a pool and small children who cannot swim needs to have a fence around the pool. Not the yard, around the pool. These incidents happen in a matter of seconds and often involve no splashing around whatsoever. Just horrible.

I think the Bills punted on the draft starting with the Dorian Williams pick in the 3rd.
The concept of value just went out the window.
Honestly after Torrence they should have just traded all the rest of their picks for next years Draft.
If Kincaid turns out to be a HOFer the class is good, but otherwise I think they got next to nothing.
Browns had a good draft, I still like what the Lions did, Steelers of course had a nice draft.
Bengals not getting any of the elite TEs, WRs or OTs made me happy.
Yep, I'm sure you are a better judge of talent than the professionals that have built a perennial SB contender. Genius.

Dave Kaval said on MLB Radio on SIriusXM, "The Las Vegas A's has a nice ring to it". The A's name is styaing.
There's some talk that MLB will add 8,000 seats to Las Vegas' new Triple-A ballpark and the A's would play there for 3 years until their new stadium is built. That would be a max attendance of 18,000 which is still more than what they draw now in Oakland.
I agree, it's almost certainly going to stay. Would be pretty dumb move to change what is basically an original teams nickname (with the 3rd most WS rings in history). However, if there is one thing we have learned as A's fans, do NOT trust a single word that POS liar says.

A's fan here. I have mixed emotions on this. Been a fan since late 80's. It's tough to see what the team has become. The downfall started when Al Davis made them build the monstrosity stands in center field. The coliseum had a tremendous view before that and was quite nice looking. Then they build that ugly thing and the whole atmosphere changed. Fast forward to the current owner and his living out of the movie plot to Major League, except it actually worked. I hate support this jerk, but it's my team. Hopefully he'll actually spend some money now, but if they change their nickname from the A's to something new, I'm out and going to the Orioles.

Do nicknames count? This one is about Bob Hite from canned heat, "The Bear". Featuring Mick Taylor tearing it up.
Lumineers have a bunch. This is probably my favorite one of theirs.

The music from "Bittersweet Symphony" by the Verve is actually an orchestral version of "The Last Time" by The Rolling Stones (which they stole from an old Gospel hymn). The Verve was only allowed to sample a small section it but a TRS manager argued they took too much and in the end lost songwriting credits to Jagger and Richards and all the money from it.
Yeah, and if you listen to the Stones version of the song you can't hear it at all. You can only hear it in the orchestral cover of it.

I don't think they even managed to start the damn thing.
Yeah, if you don't know to put the clutch down to start it, why would you ever try that?

MLB package sucks for one reason, the blackouts. If you are in Buffalo you are blacked out for Yankee, Mets, Guardians, Blue Jays, and Pirates games. It's ridiculous. I would never buy it unless I knew what my blackout situation was.
