  1. If you are under 60 and have no underlying health issues I would go for sure. 60-70 depends on health. Over 70, nope.
  2. He was clean shaven when they were at that basketball game together....just sayin. But I still hate him.
  3. Everyone knows that O'Brien was actually the GM during that period, they just made it official by getting rid of the figure head. Thus, the de facto GM statement.
  4. I get it, trust me man, I do. I would be furious if I were a HOU fan. But, we've been saying the same things about him for a few years now (as he was de facto GM before it became official) and their team is still good year in and year out. I keep waiting for the team to collapse, but they don't. Maybe this will be the year they do, I don't know, but I'm not going to proclaim it in March.
  5. Respectfully disagree. I don't even add water to my 120+ barrel proofs. I just take smaller sips. 80 proof is pretty weak for whiskey and lacks the flavor of the stronger proofs IMO. I find the sweet spot to be the bottle-in-bond 100 proofs. Maybe a drop or two of water to work the oils, but that doesn't work for all whiskey's and that's all.
  6. IDK, I liked the bottle of Laddie i went through. Drank it neat and didn't find it rough at all. Ocean's vary drastically between voyages. Some are excellent, some are pretty meh for sure. Buffalo Trace is the most overrated cheaper bourbon. I cannot fathom how it is hard to find, even allocated in some areas. Eagle Rare is way better for the price point. Of course, some are charging over $50 for it now though. I can still find EH for $45 SmB and $70 SiB. I'm a buyer of the single for $70 all day long. The Rye is tremendous too and readily available right now for $70-80. AE Rye is on my shortlist, but you are right, the price seems a bit much at the moment. Their bourbon is very good too, I just kind of hate their bottles!
  7. Lot of hate for a guy that beat us in the playoffs last year and is in the playoffs basically every year. Maybe, just maybe, let this play out for more than a few hours before we proclaim him being the worst front office guy in the history of the NFL and this being the worst trade in the history of American, scratch that, Worldwide sports. Maybe Hopkins made it clear he was going to hold out if he didn't get a huge extension or traded. If DJ gets fed the ball in the running and passing game to the tune of 2,000 rushing and receiving yards again, this deal may not be so much of a cut and dry highway robbery by Arizona.
  8. Hum...not what WGR is saying. But i see schefter is saying you are correct and i certainly trust him more! In that case, insanity for sure!
  9. No one mentions they are not paying johnson’s salary? Thats the main piece for them, he is free salary wise, arizona is paying it. still dumb, but not as dumb.
  10. It's actually M. Rags...I know things....shhhhh!
  11. Not sure about this even though people always say it. They seem to have a pretty good roster IMO. Let Clowney go before overpaying for him. Got a great T from the Fins last year. Hes been de facto GM for years and their team is always pretty good. What am I missing here?
  12. Best hands in the league. Makes plays while covered. Great personality. I would LOVE this.
  13. Seriously? Have you seen that dudes moves in the open field? His cuts are incredible.
  14. So when PFF has a guy ranked high, it matters. But when a guy is ranked crappy then the site and their rankings is trash. Got it.
  15. That number assumes only the people who have been confirmed. I would not be shocked if there were a lot of people carrying with little to no symptoms who have no idea they are infected. If true, that would lower that rate significantly.
  16. Wow, all these people posting on the onion rings. I find them horrendous. So greasy, not crispy, batter falling off all the time. No thanks. Maybe its just the sheridan drive location? I'll just take my dogs with a small fry with vinegar and ketchup on the fries.
  17. Yeah man, I made the whole thing up. Got me. You see, the difference is, you never actually tried to cancel. Not threaten to cancel to get the deal, actually try to do it. Better yet, try to tell them you don't your account to auto-renew when the promo period is over and see if they try to bill you and charge you the full rate even when you told them not too. It's a whole new ball game. Literally had to interact with them 3 times over the phone, was harassed daily with emails saying i owed them $30 for a month worth of service I did not want and had to threaten to send them to the BBB to get them stop harassing me for said $30 bill. One time they told me that I didn't even have an active account as its still active in my car. I said, OK, I guess you can keep giving me free service then. They somehow lost my account in their system when I carried over my old cars account to my new one. I also them that the auto-renew clause is not enforceable legally in NYS, they could not care less. Miraculously, after I did that they credited my account immediately. It was a giant $h1t show. As I said before, great service, wish I had it still at a reasonable rate. But shady business practices when you actually want to cancel.
  18. Pssshhh, that makes way too much sense. There should be a law - if you can sign up for something online without talking to anyone, you should be able to cancel online without talking to anyone.
  19. One of the WORST companies I have ever experienced trying to cancel a service with. To answer you question, you will not get a rate lower than $5 per month. You will also need to cancel in order to get that rate again in the future when it runs out. Sometimes they will offer it when you try to cancel, sometimes they will send emails soon after you do with the promotional rate. My problem with them stems from this: There is no way to cancel online. You have to call them which is so very annoying. On top of that, they use whats called an automatic renewal clause. Although these clauses are not enforceable in New York state, they still try to use them. So, if you are not paying close attention to your date, it will automatically start billing you at the full rate when you promo period is over. You can't do anything to stop this! I tried to tell them that I did not want my account to auto re-new, they told me I couldn't do that. I could only cancel (and service would stop immediately and I would be refunded unused amount) immediately, not cancel when the promo period was over. The only thing they said they could do was remove my Credit Card for my file. So, I had them do that and then, low and behold, after the promo period ended they started sending me bills for the new period at full amount since they didn't have my Credit Card info. It took me threatening to report them to the BBB before they would finally take that bill off of my account. This was after calling at least 3 times and spending a couple/few hours on this BS. The frustration was so real that I won't ever go back, which sucks because I really like the service and was really only trying to make sure I could get the good rate on renewal (which they didn't offer this time, but I got an email for the very next day) instead of paying the outrageous full rate.
  20. Not to nit-pick or anything, but isn't Her Majesty the last song?
  21. I'm pretty sure McD doesn't give two flying f's about online message boards.
  22. 1. Rye - $40-60 sweet spot 2. Bourbon - $40-60 sweet spot 3. Scotch - $75-100 sweet spot 4. Irish - $75-100 sweet spot 5. Japanese - $60-80 sweet spot 6. Canadaian...wait, who really drinks this crap? I have a bit of a problem. I have 30 unique bottles right now and a few doubles. Yikes. Its not really a drinking problem, but a buying problem. For example, yesterday I got Whistle Pig Old World Rye, Old Forrester 1920 Prohibition, and Michters 10 Bourbon. $400 down the hole and I didn't even open any of them yet to give an opinion. Favorites by category: Rye - A Midwinters Night Dram (can't find anymore but I got 3 bottles this winter), Hillrock Double Cask, EH Taylor Rye Bourbon - Weller 12, EH Taylore Single Barrell, Stagg Jr (Barrel proof for your burn and seems to be more available this year) Scotch - Lagavulin 16 (best peated IMO for a reasonable price), Glenlivet 15 French Oak Reserve (not very peaty, more fruity) Irish - Redbreast 15 (new to this area, my first one besides shots of jameson) Japanese - Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky (again, my first bottle in this space but damn good. If you don't like typical bourbons and you like bite I would recommend the following barrel proofs - Stagg Jr, Elijiah Craig Barrel Proof. Something more "oaky" tasting that sweet - Woodford Reserve Double Oak. Also, you may want to try the family of wheated bourbons. The Weller line comes to mind, but it is difficult to find and highly marked up. Knob Creek is readily available and wheated too. I'd go 12 year or Single Barrel for them. I also have a few unicorns that are fantastic too, but they are so hard to find at a reasonable price I haven't listed them yet. I think George T Stagg is amazing and if you can find it for $250 or under, I would jump all over it. Unfortunately usually its more like $500 especially this time of year because everyone who sells it at a reasonable price has sold them already!
  23. I think they are...but then again, I liked the Watkins trade too when it happened....so....
